And get this, we've only turned on the AC once (in the late spring we would have turned on the AC at least a few times). Of the other insulation companies I had contacted in the Sacramento area, Evergreen was the most prompt and professional. We needed new insulation for our crawlspace and updated insulation in our attic as recommended by a home inspector/structural engineer. We're glad we did because it feels less drafty in our home and the southwest corner of our house no longer bakes in the afternoon. My husband was very pleased when working with Ruben. Ruben clearly explained the issues in our attic i.e. accumulated heat, lacked ventilation, and the 70 year insulation had deteriorated, and made suggestions on what could be done. We were given multiple quotes to work within our budget. We are very happy with Ruben and crew's work as it is held to a very high standard. As a bonus, the crew vacuumed our garage because it was being used for equipment storage. They left it cleaner than when them came.

After Reuben came to work on it the first week, he said that they sealed up all the holes and added so much insulation. We asked for a whole house fan to be installed. They told us that it was out of stock and was delayed by six weeks. I called Home Depot and they said they had some great ones in stock and under $1500. We paid over $4k for everything. They didn't test the fan before leaving and took weeks to get them to respond. Turned out they had a big job in San Jose and couldn't be bothered. We had to call the manufacturer and my husband had to scale around the beams to get to the fan to sync the Bluetooth. Today, pest control found a dead rat in the trap and Atticman gave us a quote to fix their crap job. Airflow going from duct to duct instead of mixing box with duct tape that's fallen off.

Let me preface this by saying we are in the middle of a full exterior remodel (siding, paint, roof,…read moreattic insulation, gutters, etc) and I have been dealing with contractors nonstop for the past 6 months. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), our 25 y.o. 5-ton A/C unit decided to bite the dust during the roof construction. I was weary of the experience I had just gone through in selecting a roofer and painter, but knew we had to "do it right" and invest in a heat pump system for long-term piece of mind and cost savings, (2,700 sqft single story home in Fair Oaks). 3 HVAC contractors came by the house - the first gave me the corporate high-pressure spiel and was way overpriced; the second was competitively priced but not interested in answering my questions or helping me with the $3,500 rebate afforded to me as a SMUD customer; the third was Andrey at Corsair. Andrey was a breath of fresh air - literally, I suppose. Not only was he flexible when I had to cancel our first appointment last minute, he showed up when he promised to, answered all of my detailed questions (lots of texting back and forth long before I signed any paperwork), offered to handle the SMUD rebate paperwork, provided a competitive quote, gave me several options to choose from, was wiling to fix mistakes I had made installing my own mini split in my detached office, happily pivoted when (mid-install) I requested he also replace the insulation in my ducting, didn't complain when I asked him to install an A/C unit cover I had ordered (free of charge), and then subsequently asked to move it again, AND got the job done in a day with a polite and professional crew. What else can I say: Andrey is a class act. Home ownership would truly be more rewarding if everyone in their profession were as passionate and dedicated. You cannot go wrong with Corsair.

We were very happy with the job they did. 2 days ago, after 1 year our AC suddenly wouldn't work. We texted Andrey, he replied in timely manner and came next morning to resolve the issue. The problem was a blown fuse, which he diagnosed and repaired in a few minutes and we got our house back to cool 73 degrees in no time! I would recommend Andrey and his team if you're in a market for a new HVAC system.

From the start, John was professional, honest, and very easy to work with. What I appreciated most was how straightforward he was. He didn't try to upsell us or push a full roof replacement when it wasn't necessary. John took the time to explain exactly where the leak was coming from and what needed to be repaired, which I really respected. He also went above and beyond by helping guide us through the insurance process and even offered to speak with our insurance company if needed. That kind of support made the whole situation a lot less stressful. The repair was done quickly and we feel much better knowing the leak has been fixed. If you need roof repair for a leak and want an honest contractor who won't try to sell you something you don't need, I highly recommend John.

We got a notice of non renewal from our home insurance company. The insurance contact told us we needed to get someone to clean or power wash the roof and show proof to refute the non renewal. Once I got in touch with John, he has been very honest, earnest, and accommodating. John told us not to power wash our roof as it would take off the finish of our cement tiles and damage them - even soft washing would introduce chemicals that I did not want around our house. He asked for the insurance company contact so that he could call them to verify what they needed from us and to tell them a power wash is not recommended. Once he determined what they needed from us, he offered to brush the moss off the roof. I found his assessment of the work and pricing to be extremely fair compared to the 2 other quotes I got. He was able to schedule us in to make repairs to the roof and provide pictures/video of the before and afters to make our insurance deadline in time. Thank you John and team!

From the start, the process was confusing and did not inspire confidence. We were initially told the HVAC system would be replaced, but later informed that the space would not accommodate it as planned. The scope of work seemed unclear and ultimately was not completed as originally explained. Since installation, we have continued to experience significant temperature imbalance throughout the home. The living room becomes very cold, while the bedroom remains warm and uncomfortable--especially at night. This has been a consistent issue for the past year. Additionally, the system appears to be oversized for a home of this size. Installing a three-ton unit in a 972 sq ft space raises concerns about improper system sizing, which can lead to short cycling, poor airflow distribution, and uneven temperatures--exactly what we are experiencing. Communication has also been extremely frustrating. We have struggled to get clear answers or meaningful follow-up regarding these ongoing issues, despite raising concerns multiple times. We were recently informed that the project passed inspection, but passing inspection does not reflect real-world performance. A properly installed HVAC system should provide consistent comfort throughout the home, and that is not happening here. After a full year of unresolved issues, incomplete work, and lack of communication, we cannot recommend this company.

We chose Rebuildit because we liked the salesman so much, even though the price was a little more than we wanted to pay. It took about a month for the materials to arrive, and then two days for installation. The two installers were very skilled at their work, and very neat. They corrected things that were not quite right about the previous shower installation, and made everything all neat and tidy before they started the installation. They put in a solid, waterproof wall, and everything looked watertight and sturdy. The second day, they installed the acrylic panels and mouldings, and the results were terrific. We can't believe how terrific our shower looks, and how comfortable it is for showering. It's very easy to clean, too.

If you schedule an estimate with this company, be prepared for a much longer visit than promised and don't expect your time or boundaries to be respected. Unfortunately, this experience left us with a very negative impression, and we will not be doing business with them.
