Cheng's is an Asian buffet. It's just not any good. The food looks like the same thing. It's impossible to tell some things apart. There's also not many healthy options. I went for the buffet. It's about $8 for lunch. This was cheap and there was a reason. It's not good. There's stuff that shouldn't be there. I'm sure you know the kind of stuff I'm talking about. This is a Chinese buffet with mashed potatoes and pizza. It has few good vegetarian options. There's no kind of tofu. It's another bad experience at a Chinese buffet. It has poor selection in spite of having many items. The tables are nasty and sticky.

At 7:30pm the buffet was half empty and was not replenished.

We arrived at 7:30pm and half of the buffet was empty and food remaining in the buffet was over cooked by the heated pans. When I asked if they would bring out more food they said they were out. They did not have hot & sour or wonton no soup, general TSO, or dumplings, just look at the pictures below. We will never go back.

This place is actually pretty good we go there and just sitting there in the middle of the afternoon getting some lunch and I love the fact that they have the Mongolian Grill there's Sushi I don't know if they make it there I kind of doubt it but the sushi is really good and I love the fact that they have a huge variety

My second time here. Always very good!! CRAB LEGS!!! Overall, one of the largest selections on a Chinese buffet I've seen since moving to the Columbus area. I did ad the first picture for this place on here to give you an idea of how nice it really is on the inside. Hope it helps. If you're ever in the Newark area... give it a shot... you won't be disappointed.

Bananas and sweet-and-sour sauce? I did not partake. Somebody let me know how that goes for you.

Buffets are a strange beast. I feel like it's not just the buffet that's at fault... It's also me. I'm just bad at curating a plate of food. Every time I'm at a buffet I end up with The most random assemblage of delicacies... loitering under a heat lamp. The breakfast club of foods that would never normally ever socialize on any single plate together but found themselves in the company of me in the library at Changs buffet. Today my plate was filled with one stuffed mushroom, a hard-boiled egg, a few pieces of canned pineapple and a hot sugar doughnut, a piece of fish, and bacon covered crab sticks. I spent most of my time at the buffet sampling one piece of anything that looked pretty good. By the time I got to the table I was already full. I wish that I had just done the Mongolian barbecue as it seem to be maybe the best choice... next time... Please enjoy the photos

Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh

This restaurant has at least 2-3x as many food options as my local Chinese buffets. The variety was good, with American choices mixed in with the oriental ones. They also had a pretty decent dessert selection (ice cream, cookies, pudding, fruit, jello, apple pie, etc.), which isn't usually the case with Chinese buffets. The lowlights: the building is dated along with the decor, the bathroom, and the furniture. The utensils are located up at the salad bar. So, if you were expecting them to be brought to you with your drinks, you'll be taking the extra trip back up front while your plate gets cold at the table. I loved the fish tank at the front and a lot of the chicken options. The green beans and broccoli were fresh and crisp. The apple pie rendition was good, but the banana pudding had a strong artificial taste. The host was friendly, as was the woman who walked us to our table and brought our drinks. The price seemed fair for dinner ($15.99/pp).

Good, not great. Very good service. Nice place, wide open and feeling more like a sports bar with a Chinese restaurant attached on the edges. Lots of booths. You can see where the buffet used to be. The typical Chinese American menu options. Plus, bar and grille type items. I got my standard tester, Mongolian beef and crab Rangoons. Both have fairly subtle flavors, but places can put their own spins on them. The crab Rangoons here were clearly frozen, filled almost entirely with cheese. Just OK. And sadly, the Mongolian beef was only a little better than just OK. A few pieces of tender beef in a mild sauce, onions, good amount of green onions (which I prefer.) And some bamboo shoots, a little unusual in this dish. All over some of the crispy rice noodles, whichsadly aren't used everywhere. I ate most of it, and the pretty average fried rice beside it. But I don't think I'd come back. Nothing stands out. Prices were decent. Easy access across from the mall. Plenty of parking.

The egg adds an umami and the bun is sweet. This burger relies heavily on the mayo which maybe I'm crazy but it taste way better than normal mayo. Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. Multiple people stopped by to check on us and welcome us. All the food was delicious and we picked out a few desserts to take home from the bakery (not included in the buffet price). There's also a little Brazilian market attached to the restaurant that is worth checking out as well. The restaurant itself had a really nice vibe with exposed brick walls.
