I got a Groupon for 3-room carpet cleaning and was able to scheduled it rather easily with Yvette at the 1-800 number. They also called to confirm the appointment the day before. My technician was running the late the day of: I was scheduled for noon-3pm, but he didn't arrive until just after 4pm. I had to call a couple of time to check on the status, but customer service were nice about it and gave me updates when they have them. When Garrett arrived, he was really friendly and cleaned my 2 bedrooms plus closets and a rug and just charged a tiny bit extra ($5/each) for the closets and rug. The cleaning itself took about 45 minutes, and while my carpets weren't really that dirty, it was nice to get them cleaned and Garrett fluffed them also so they look newer. If you don't have super dirty carpets, the Groupon is a great deal, but if you need some serious cleaning, they'll likely recommend the deep clean (extra charge) upon arrival and a quick assessment of the carpet conditions. read more

I was scheduled for a carpet cleaning on a Friday afternoon and was home during the 2 hour window. At the final 5 minutes, of the 2 hour window, I get a call from the technician saying his truck broke down and we will need to reschedule. That was a Friday afternoon and they would call me for a new appointment. They never called. So I called and I left a message requesting a new appointment. I have yet to receive a call back. It's been 3 days. I have moved on and called another Chem Dry company. What a complete waste of my time. read more

Chem-Dry Clean Masters - Carpet Cleaning Near Me

I purchased a Groupon to get 3 rooms done. Because I got a cheaper deal through groupon, this review will be focused on the work and quality of the cleaners. The cleaners arrived within their window and I like that they update you within 30 min of their arrival. Both of the men were very nice and polite, I believe his name was Sam. I don't have any pets but I needed two rooms done due to some bathroom pipe breakage that occurred while I was on vacation which left my beautiful carpets horribly stained. When they were finished, the carpets looked brand new and you couldn't even tell that any water damage had occurred in the carpets. I did upgrade to the deep cleaning which I feel was totally worth it. They even got out stains that other methods would not get out, and Sam even offered to do a large area rug for me (for FREE!) since he noticed there were some food stains on it. Now my rug looks completely brand new. That was a nice thing to throw in for me and I appreciated it! We also have hardwood floors so the areas where the carpet transitions to the wood flooring got slightly wet, but the crew made sure to completely dry it. I am extremely pleased with their detailed service and would definitely recommend them and use them again! read more

I'm not sure if I was just an outlier or if this is how they treat their potential customers. I called Chem Dry to come out to clean my two bathroom tiles. I made an appointment a week prior. The day before the appointment I get a call from their office lady saying that the equipment is broken and needs to be fixed. I understood. She moved me to the next day. I get a call later that day from the same lady saying she double booked me. I understood. She moved me to the end of the week because I was only able to meet at 9 am (like the two original appointments) due to work. At 855am, I get a call from their technician saying that the equipment broke and he'll be coming half an hour to fourty five minutes late "due to traffic". I personally think he just overslept and didn't make the appointment on time. How can you fix the equipment while your driving? I decided to cancel this appointment. I called the office lady and told her how dissatisfied and what a waste of time this has all been. She said the manager would call me....the manager never called me. What a terrible experience. I would not recommend them. read more

I love writing reviews and I try and post them as accurately as possible. I like to give 5 stars if I believe service is good. In this case, I need to note here that I've been a customer of Chem Dry for many years.. They used to come down to my Cerritos home I rented. I used to use penny's aver coupons or I would get them in the mail reminding me that my tan carpets needed a good cleaning. We had dogs at the time so our carpets were pretty dirty most of the time or maybe just cause our carpets were light in shade? Either way, I usually paid for a deep clean which was about 140 for a living room, den and 2 bedrooms. The cleaners always arrived on time and even called me to let me know they were on their way. After I moved from that home to a much smaller apartment I tried cleaning my own rugs with one of those rentals from grocery stores since my apartment doesn't get too dirty. So, I called Chem Dry to help out 6 weeks ago...Service was excellent, I believe the same receptionist answered. Carpets were looking great and my cleaner was friendly. Sorry my review is overdue but better late than never. read more

Chem-Dry Clean Masters - Carpet Cleaning Near Me

Clean Masters is a franchise of ChemDry carpet cleaners. They were very easy to work with and charged a reasonable rate. I booked them a week out, but they were able to reschedule their arrival time the day before when the house cleaner schedule changed. I recommend this company. They provided their regular service which consists of vacuuming, applying CO2 cleaner, buffing with a clean pad, and raking to 4 empty rooms and a hallway for $120...$5 less than what they quoted. Gerardo the Technician was careful and thorough. read more

So I bought a Groupon to have my carpets cleaned... and I guess as the ole saying goes "you get what you pay for".... I have used two great companies in the past but it would cost around $120 to clean just my living room area/stairs... I saw a Groupon for this company and it was $59 for the WHOLE house... awesome! Plus only $25 extra for stairs... still well below what I normally pay. I am giving 3 stars because it was okay... the guy showed up on time, worked quickly... but my carpets were not as clean as they usually are after other companies have cleaned them. I have a dog and she can be messy sometimes... I still saw some of her stains and spots after the cleaning... that never happens with the other companies. Overall, I'm glad I paid a cheaper price... but the quality was not as good so I will probably just fork over the big bucks to get a job well done next time! read more

I bought a deal through Groupon for 4 rooms/1000 sq feet in May. I have a Bissell carpet cleaner and usually clean my own carpets, but I was moving out of my apartment and the lease required professional carpet cleaning upon move-out. I called in to the call center before I purchased the Groupon to ask about availability and additional pricing (for stairs) and the woman I spoke with was polite and helpful. Ended up purchasing the deal, though I was really nervous because I've heard a lot of negative things about these types of services. After purchasing, I called in and added $25.00 for the stairs (which I thought was super reasonable) and paid for everything up front. I was actually out of town on the day they came to clean, but my roommate, who was there said that they were on time and really fast. I came back and the carpets looked like new (but they weren't in bad shape at all to begin with). They were in and out and didn't request a single penny more than what had already been pre-paid. read more

Our carpet is 17 years old and over the years we have and still do have several cats and the dog. It had been 2 1/2 years since we last had our carpet cleaned. Long story short - We just had three bedrooms, a living room, the dining room, and a hallway done by Sam - the deep clean! And our carpet looks like new! We had a few add-ons when Sam arrived and he gave us a good deal on everything! Sam arrived on time and was here five hours working diligently and thoroughly! We have used this particular franchise in the past and would use it again. We strayed once and that will never happen again - the hard sell and very high prices! Stick with this franchise and Sam Meny! We are even going to have him come back and do our bathroom tiles. Stay tuned. . . read more

I just used them this week to clean my carpets with the PURT pet urine removal process. I have very new carpets, but in the past year had an elderly ill cat that had had some accidents in one area of my home. The smell really bothers me, even though I don't blame her. I'm really impressed- it's day 2 and the improvement is amazing! No more odor! And no perfumey cover up. Ronnie was great- on time and explained the process. If you are having any pet odor problems with your carpets- try the PURT. read more

Used Chem Dry to clean upholstery 2 years ago. Called for an appointment, was scheduled for Monday afternoon. Received a call on Friday my carpet would be clean Saturday between 12-3. They never called or showed. Sunday left a message on machine how they never called or showed. Today (Monday) called in morning explain that they never showed, was told appointment was for today between 1-4. At4:30 called company and was told I had no appointment. Got a call from the manager saying they went to the wrong house. She told me to call another company tomorrow and if I can't find one call them back. I hung up the phone. My sister used them yearly, but will not use them any more. If they didn't have enough staff they should have not wasted my time. They are HOrrible read more

UPDATE: Got a hold of Mark who is the manager. He immediately supported his employee's disrespect and bad attitude because he claims he's never had negative complaints against Garret. This company's values clearly do not put the customer first. I've never had such a bad experience with a service company in my life. Absolutely terrible service by Garret who was very rude and disrespectful. I first asked him if he had booties as soon as he entered and he said no with lots of attitude. I offered him to grab my own booties and while I was going to grab them he threatened to cancel the appointment. He gave a bunch of snark comments like "I step on clean carpets all day." He obviously was not having a good day and didn't want to work. I did not feel comfortable with someone who would disrespect me in my own house within 1 minute of entering to clean my carpets. So I sent him on his way. I have tried to call the corporate office during working hours and can't get through to anyone. I've now wasted my entire day waiting for this jerk who of course came at the end of the 12-3pm window and my carpets still need to be cleaned. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OVERALL read more

I called this ChemDry to clean my linoleum and laminate floors since another company said they couldn't do a good job. I thank the other company for being honest with me. The floors were HORRIBLE after cleaning. Maybe I got a bad tech. I called Mark? and informed him of the terrible job that was done. He replied and apologized and would refund me the entire amount. No arguing, a check would be in the mail since I paid by card. I gave them 3 stars for the immediate refund without the hassle. Would give them 5 for just that but the cleaning job was so terrible. Had to get on my hands and knees to do the job myself as it was for an open house. So thank you Mark? I appreciate your excellent customer service. read more

This was the best experience I had so far. We have a one bedroom apartment and I purchased a coupon in Groupon for this company. The person who came to clean the carpet (Miguel) he was so polite and professional and me and my husband were so impressed by the customer service and also the way our carpet looks now. I've called the company the moment the cleaning was done and I thanked them as well. I highly recommend this company We used cleaning and sanitizing read more

I had my carpets cleaned with Miguel a few weeks ago. I would give 5 stars b/c of his professionalism, promptness, friendliness, and he moved small furniture items out of the way. He came right on time, there was only a 30 min window for arrival and he came at the start of the window. I have a small 2 bedroom condo. I bought a groupon for 3 rooms and I had him do two bedrooms and the small hallway. I paid $25 more for stairs, which was the going rate for the companies on Groupon as I shopped around. My carpets look good, but I'm not too sure about their dirt extraction methods and that's why I'm giving overall 4 stars; seems like they sprayed chemical cleansing solution (non-toxic) and then rubbed it in with their big spinning machine with a cloth mop on the end of it. I think something that sucks the dirt out with a vacuum method would be better. I'm not sure how much dirt was removed, but I had not cleaned my carpets in 4 years from when I purchased new. I walk with no shoes on carpet there were no stains to begin with, just routine dust removal. In short, Miguel was a win, and I'm not sure about the type of carpet cleaning they provide but I'm glad I went for it. All in all, I paid $89 total. read more

For some reason, purchasing from Groupon is a hit or miss for me. Luckily this purchase was a hit. Sam and Rich were 15 min early coming from Gardena to my place in OC...mind you, this was during the early morning rush hour commute. They were very professional and suggested a deep cleaning for some stains from previous roommates. I expected this upsell and was hesitant, but Sam guaranteed that the stains would come out. Only the high traffic area in the house was deep cleaned, but oh man...Sam was right, The stains came out and my carpet looked like new. read more

Today Sam Meny and Rich had me jumping up and down with the just plain miraculous restoration of my home. They found urine stains I didn't even know where there- but others could smell. Sam suggested cleaning the garage carpeting, which I hadn't planned on doing, (and to be honest resisted at first) but he "promised" I'd be happy with the extra area cleaned and he was right. I can hardly believe my eyes how great it looked. Thank you Sam & Rich! read more

Moved into a new apartment recently; two of the rooms had carpets that were once white (I assume). I've been sleeping in the living room so I don't have to touch that nasty ish. I needed a carpet clean, fast, so I went to Groupon and found these guys. Called them the first day a bit too late (I'm a night owl) and left a message with my name and info. No callback by 4PM the next day. Called them again to book an appointment and spoke to a nice woman who told me she would call back. She never did... Called the NEXT day around 2:30PM to book an appointment and spoke to a very terse man, was told my voucher was only for surface cleaning, not carpet. The voucher states, as follows: "three rooms of carpet cleaning (spin-bonnet method) with deodorizer, up to 750 sqft" Soooo.... as you can imagine, I'm over here scratchin' my head. He told me that my voucher could not be used for my home and gave me a quotes for similar services... Even though the voucher clearly states the service as carpet cleaning, and spin-bonnet cleaning can be used on pretty much any surface, aaand the two rooms I need cleaned are less than 400sq ft combined. I'm very confused and disappointed, as they are the only carpet cleaners on Groupon who come to Harbor City, and unemployment+moving costs has left me with no other options but to spend a week on the floor, scrubbing away at splotchy grey carpets and hoping for a better customer experience some day. P.S. If you own a home and rent it out, don't install white carpet and make your tenants pay for previous damage :( read more

Began using Chem Dry a number of years ago when I noticed how wet the carpet remained after it was cleaned. I called Mark, because I've used his services before, and they have always done a great job! I had some carpet cleaning scheduled for last Saturday. For a deep clean. The tech was early, polite and professional. When the tech went to do the deep clean the equipment wasn't working, and he told me that he was going to do the basic package at no charge, and If we still needed the deep cleaning they would come back next week which I confirmed I would be charged for the deep cleaning fee. The basic cleaning met our needs and I told Mark they didn't need to come back out. Mark told me he would be charging me for a basic cleaning, which caught me off guard because I was told it was at no charge by the tech the day of the cleaning, as well as speaking with Mark that day and him not mentioning paying for the basic cleaning either. After a discussion with him today, Mark agreed not to bill me for the basic service based upon what I was told. At no time did the tech complete a new invoice showing the charges for the basic cleaning, or I would have paid him on the spot (we were paying cash for the deep clean that was originally suppose to be done) or have waited to get the deep cleaning done. When I asked Mark for something in writing stating I would not be billed he wouldn't provide me with anything and stated that he was going to write on the invoice and account "no charge". I also tipped the tech for his time and thanked him for doing a great job! I would still do business with company! read more

I had Chem Dry June of 2018 clean several rooms, stairs and hallway that resulted in spot stains forming on carpet which are permanent. After numerous calls and a second technician coming out stating he observed the spots too and was unable to resolve the issue. Branch owner chose to block my phone calls and; has failed to follow up to date. The term of limited water used is an understatement, my carpet remained wet for several weeks. Other rooms carpet untouched by Chem Dry looks better than supposedly cleaned areas. What is most disturbing is, the lack of accountability by this branch and it's continued ignorance of this unresolved situation as though it never occurred.... it now almost October of 2018 and have not been contacted by the owner. read more

I hired Chem-Dry to clean our sofa. I had just had the carpet cleaned, but I didn't learn until the day of the cleaning that they aren't allowed to take off their shows, and they don't have covers for their shoes. Lying, cheating scumbags. We got hosed by these bozos three years ago. Classic bait and switch. Under quoted then showed up with much higher rates. We made the mistake of calling them again and ........same thing. Ridiculously priced but we were desperate to get the carpets done. They promised they would be here at 8:30am. We rearranged our schedules, moved the furniture around and waited. They call us a 9am to say they had truck problems and would not be here until 10:30. Same bull story as last time. Same truck problems. They obviously had no intention of showing up at 8:30. After demanding an additional discount for our inconvenience, they agreed. They showed up at 11 and would not honor the discount. They claimed we needed to pay $25 extra for the stairs. Really? The last time you did our carpets, the stairs were included and you used the same quote to rebid us this year. We kicked their asses out of our home. NO WAY....NEVER AGAIN... read more
