Ken's awesome and this team takes SO much pride. I had him clean a 8' x 11' rug at his plant. From the moment he responded to my request to when I got the rug back, he was friendly, highly communicative and honest. The rug had considerable stains + dirt, it was 8-years-old from Wayfair, and was in a home with a big dog and a now big kid. It had never been professionally cleaned in eight years and I had spilled coffee on it. The wear-and-tear stuff came out, the coffee did not. I waited too long to call him, and made the mistake of trying to treat it with carpet cleaners and enzyme cleaners. The lesson learned here is: Do not try to treat coffee stains, just call Ken!!! I should've caved and spent the $$$ sooner. Ken's prices were very fair AND he was great to work with. I recommend him and now need to find excuses to use his team again. read more

Ken had also told me that he could remove the dark stains on my carpet but not the light stains. I recently had my carpet cleaned by another company. The other company did a stellar job. After speaking to Ken, I was only expecting improvement. Because of the work of this other company, my carpet looks brand new! The other company told me those were not white stains on my carpet. They said that is the color of my carpet. The cleaning solution I had used just cleaned the spots well. In contrast, Ken had told me that the cleaning solution had damaged the color of my carpet and that he could not fix that. My carpet also dried in one day after the other company cleaned it. In contrast, one of Ken's reviewers said there was dirty water coming out of his carpet three (3) days after Ken cleaned it. (I referenced that review in my previous review). I am SO glad that Ken told me he was going to pass on my job. He did me a hugh favor. I found another company that is confident, that knows their trade, and that does excellent work. I dodged a bullet. Once again, there are consequences to the way one treats people. read more

Karma Carpet Cleaning responded quickly even during the weekend to our need to have a mattress cleaned ASAP. Other possible vendors were not being as up front and clear in their communications, and so I brought my business here. Franky showed up within a day at a time that worked for me and took the steps needed to make sure the mattress could be treated with the extra hot water his vehicle provided, so he carried it out to the vehicle and cleaned it. When he got back I had a couple more large custom cushions from our dining table banquette I needed cleaned, and he had them looking new within a short time. Scheduling was problematic with Ken and the main office (that's why only 4 stars) but once John was here, John did a great job at a very competitive price. Also, he is a nice guy, the kind of person that you feel comfortable having in your home. I would probably use Karma again, if I had enough time to bend to their ever-changing schedule. $180 + $20 tip = $200 total for a bedroom, a hall, and a dirt-tracked area between the front door and the kitchen. read more

Saw the review and thought maybe this company can take care some spots on our carpet. We have a 997 sq ft condo, minus two baths and kitchen and dining area, probably 500 sq with carpet, not to mention the two king beds and sofas that can't be moved, leaving the only area needs to be cleaned about 300 sq. Took the guy about 45 mins to finish the job, dirty spots still there, high traffic area still look bad, I know it's cleaning, not magic....but I don't see him trying hard to really "clean" the carpet. Probably "wet vacuum" that's about it. After he left, I am still picking up pieces of dirt and pieces of food on the carpet. Carpet guy also not putting on shoe cover while cleaning. I reached out for a quote and when I asked for a better deal closer to what I was quoted at other places they wrote a rant that I was going to get ripped off and that in 2023 it's not possible to receive a couch cleaning for under $150. I felt it was unnecessary to speak to a customer in that way and they lost my business. Would have been willing to negotiate but I did not wish to be spoken to in that manner. Edit: the owner responded and has his own side. I was simply asking for a better price and if he could not offer it that is all that had to be said. I will post my responses with him below so viewers can read for themselves. Based off of the other 1 star reviewers you can see I am not making this up. His work seems to be of high quality so if you are looking for just that then he is your guy. However, his customer service skills leave much to be desired. I personally will only give my business to those that speak to me in a kind and friendly manner. Thanks for the "well wishing" but that seems malicious as well so I'm good. I'm embarrassed to admit that - this is just between us, right? - the wall-to-wall carpeting throughout my home (including the bathroom!) had not been cleaned in 33 years. Maybe this is why I've been dealing with coughing and wheezing? I called Karma Carpet Cleaner, spoke with the owner Ted, and he sent Franky out two days later. Franky is knowledgeable, professional, and a super pleasant and friendly young man. He didn't rush the job and was extremely thorough. The carpet looks fresh, smells great, and the stains are gone! I have to hand it to the owner, he responded to my inquiry and gave a quote very quickly. I was on the calendar pretty fast. The work was completed within an hour, 3 rooms and a hall. It was very fast. The carpet was very wet afterwards and i was told to leave the windows open and it would dry by night. I had to rent air blowers the next day and run them for 2 days before the carpet was dry. There were stains left, I called Karma back and was told if I had tried to clean the stains myself, that would prevent them from coming up. I called B.S., rented a Rug Doctor for $40, spent another $10 on shampoo and a few hours on the rugs. I got all but 1 stain out and my carpets were MUCH dryer afterwards. I still used the blowers but carpet was dry within 2 hours. Don't waste your money. They took no responsibility for crappy work and never offered to return and try to remove the stains or refund anything. A little disappointed with the service. Expected carpet to be dry overnight but took almost 3 days. 2nd - after a spill I used my carpet shampooer to clean and got a lot of dirtier water than expected. Tried another area that was cleaned by Karma and got the same results - dirty water. Still not convinced cleaned a third area and results were the same - dirty water. Called and sent text to owner and got a number of reasons/excuses as to why it was my fault. Guess I won't be recommending Karma to friends and family. read more
