I had rented an Air BnB in LA and before I could catch our dog after a muddy walk, he ran through the house and all over the (white!!!) carpets. I reached out to the rental owner immediately -- the appropriate thing to do -- to ask what she wanted me to do, and without hesitation, this was the business she recommended I contact. I sent a request for contact through Yelp and expected to hear back maybe the next day. Honestly, I was surprised by the VERY prompt (within an hour of sending the message!) and courteous response I received from the owner. He informed me he could send someone out the next morning -- totally reasonable -- for a free quote. The quote was quickly agreed to and the gentleman got right to work! The stains were completely gone with all evidence lifted by the time the cleaner left!! I kept in touch with the owner of the rental and learned that Spitz had done such a great job that if I hadn't initially reached out to her, she said she never would have even known anything had happened. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures, but you won't be sorry if you use them! They are friendly, efficient and their work is spectacular!! Thank you again for your help in a pinch!! read more

Ed did an excellent job! Our carpet looks spotless, even in the tiny corners. He used professional equipment and finished faster than I expected. I'm really impressed and highly recommend their service. Thank you again! read more

This company was recommended by a friend who is a property manager. They did not disappoint from beginning to end. They communicate well, set up appointments as quickly as possible, the carpets looked amazing and the technician was very friendly and quick. I will be using this company in the future. I can't say enough good things about this Spitz cleaning, upholstery cleaning company. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and impressive. Scheduling was quick and convenient, I was told my technician would be Eddie. The morning of my appointment Eddie , introduced himself via text and confirmed what time he would be at my home and arrived right on time--polite, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about doing quality work. He was a pleasure to work and speak to. He treated my sofas with great care, using safe, effective products that left everything looking and smelling fresh without any harsh chemical scent. I was amazed my sofas looked new afterward--dog hair, drool and what looked like dull fabric revived beautifully. I was actually thinking I might need to reupholster! The attention to detail was next-level, and it's clear they take real pride in their craft. Pricing was fair, transparent, and absolutely worth it for the results. It's rare to find a company that combines outstanding service, results, and professionalism all in one. I'll definitely be a repeat customer and will recommend them to anyone who wants to bring their furniture back to life! My only regret, I wish I called them sooner! I won't make that mistake again!, I am thrilled with the results! read more

I don't usually write reviews. As a general contractor I tend to be very choosy about who I write about. But in this case I have to say, I'm very pleased to do it. We had a fairly big accident on my remodel job and I thought one of my guys ruined an extremely beautiful and extremely expensive carpet. I had heard good things about Mike and Spitz Cleaning from a friend of mine previously. I called him, he came quickly and much to my surprise. not only to he fix the problem but really made the carpet so much nicer. Here's the funny thing, the clients had been away during construction. I didnt mention what had happened. But a review popped up on my google account a few days later and not only did they praise my work but also mentioned how great I was for making their carpet so beautiful again! 10/10 for Spitz Carpet Cleaning!! read more

Very easy and prompt to communicate with. Eddie was so friendly and did an amazing job Carpet looks brand new and very reasonably priced. Definitely using your services again! read more

Spitz has been a reliable, well-priced and professional cleaning service that we have used many times over the years. They always come promptly and do a great and thorough job and are friendly and amenable to whatever needs we have. Two thumbs up! read more

***They don't move furniture!*** Only one cleaner came and they weren't prepared to move furniture. The carpet is under the furniture.....how can a carpet company not expect to move furniture? I'm a 5"2 woman and I had to put rugs back under extremely heavy furniture by myself. Needless to say my back is killing me today thanks to Spitz. The cleaner was nice and I don't blame them, the company sets the expectations for their employees. read more

Did an amazing job cleaning home theater. Was able to come quickly and was fast and efficient.

I definitely don't recommend this carpet cleaner. My area rug had a couple of localized spots that needed to be cleaned. This photo is the after. It appears they clean the rug with dirty water, and now the entire rug is stained and yellowed. Pretty frustrating when I just needed some spots cleaned. The price was good, but now I understand why. So now I will have to replace a very expensive rug. read more

SPITz Carpet Cleaning - This is the "after" photo. Rug completely yellowed, stained and definitely not clean. Pretty sure they used dirty water. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I honestly have no clue how this company has so many good reviews. We hired them to clean the carpet in 2 bedrooms, 2 rugs, and a sectional sofa. It came out to be over $500. We used a different company last year so we have something to compare to in terms of the final result. Spitz didn't do a good job cleaning off stains at all. Everything they cleaned smelled so damp like a wet dog for 2-3 weeks. We kept the doors open to air things out. The company we used last year used a nice clean scent in their solution that made our carpet smell nice immediately. We just didn't feel like anything was really clean. For the bedrooms and rugs, we had to go buy a deodorizer to take out the wet dog smell. We had to deodorize our house at least 2-3 times. It was totally not worth $500. I would not use this company again and can't recommend them. I truly believe their five stars reviews are fake. read more

We've had SPITz come out to clean our white bedroom carpets once a year. They respond quickly, they show up on time, they do a thorough job with astonishing results, and they are priced very fairly. They're the best. read more

Quote given ahead of time was what was paid, Eddie was very nice and pleasant and got right to work upon arrival, however I was disappointed with the result. I have a cream colored rug that's less than a year old that has normal wear on it but after the treatment it didn't look that much cleaner unfortunately. I understand it's a light colored rug but I figured that normal foot traffic dirtiness (people take shoes off in my home) wouldn't be hard to get out. I tried asking if they would come back and try again and was not able to reach them after multiple attempts. read more

Awesome carpet cleaners! Would use. Their service again, definitely offered great service and worth every penny.

I've had wonderful experiences with Spitz Carpet Cleaning for years. It all started with a random phone call due to the reviews I found on Yelp. What a pleasant surprise. They came out and had my home looking amazing as if it was the same day I bought my carpet. On top of that, I was shopping around for a while to find some better pricing and they really were the best deal for their quality of work. I'm always skeptical when going with a new vendor blindly. I spoke to Mike multiple times on the phone who truly gave me peace of mind before having his guys out here. On top of that, I utilize them for my businesses as well. They have done an amazing cleaning job at multiple apartments throughout Los Angeles. Every time someone moves into one of their new apartment homes, the carpet looks brand spanking new. I also appreciate how eco-friendly they are. One of my biggest fears was anything happening to my pets. A major selling point for me was the fact that they're very pet friendly individuals and the products they use will not hurt your furry family members. This is a very overdue updated review and I look forward to utilizing their services for years to come. read more

Mike and his crew are absolute magicians! The low quality of my white (ish) carpet, made the stains look like permanent damage and I was convinced there was no hope for them. I was honestly ready to say goodbye to a big chunk of my deposit. Mike assured me that I would be pleasantly surprised by what they could do, while not over promising me anything. Keep in mind, he hadn't seen the carpets yet, I only described its condition on the phone. I really didn't have high expectations. Not only was I blown away by the results, they had managed to almost completely make a large water stain from my leaking washing machine look like it was never there. I wish I had a before picture of that one but imagine a blue/black giant circle at the end of the hallway picture. Note only did they do an incredible job, they are extremely trust worthy. I was able to leave my key in a lockbox for them while I was away for Xmas and they handled everything, cleaned up and locked up. They left me wondering why I never thought to do this before.... Anyway. If you want a team to do the best possible job, don't hesitate to go with SPITz! read more

This is absolutely the best cleaning experience I've experienced thus far. Very thorough! I Spoke to Mike on the phone to plan a carpet cleaning service and send a video of the disaster I needed to tend too. He quickly gave me a call explained the perimeters about the job and set the expectations. He quoted me a price and amazingly even after seeing the damage in person still stuck to the same price. Spitz carpet cleaning service was the best decision I made for my home. They completely transformed my carpet to looking and smelling amazing. He arrived early and were nice. The appointment time is 10am and he arrived at 9:47am. This is great. He started to move all the equipment in right away and work. It took him 40 min to finish the job and take the equipment back to his car. He finished his work at 10:47am. Pretty efficient. But maybe it's my expectation. This is my first time hiring a carpet cleaning. It seems the dark spots are lighter, but they are still there. The staircase seems darker. It's midnight now, the floor is mostly dry. Probably staircase is harder to dry. Unlike rooms, there are windows. Will check it out tomorrow morning. Wish it would be cleaner. It's not easy to remove all the objects from a room and now have to unpack and carry everything back. $225+tips for 2 rooms and a staircase. The cleaning method is steam cleaning. read more

Rarely do I take the time to write a review, but felt it necessary to write this one. My son just moved into a new place and has to get his furniture cleaned as it has been in a storage unit.
