The hotel handled it really well. We tried to check in but were told because of no power we would need to come back later to check in. We went out for the evening and came back around 1130pm. We were promptly checked in and they gave us a discount since we couldn't check in earlier. The room was spotless. The bathroom was extremely clean. The breakfast was very good. All the food was warm and tasty. There were several coffee choices and the coffee was hot. The breakfast wasn't very busy so we had a good choice in tables. Many hotels don't have many tables but this one had plenty of seating. When we checked out the young lady at the desk was very polite and smiling. We would definitely stay here again.

I photographed them and brought the photos to the front desk. The attendant was helpful and told us this happens occasionally, that the room would be quarantined and an exterminator would treat it. We were moved to another room. We threw out food, coolers, and packaging that had been in the kitchen, and repacked the rest of our belongings slowly and carefully. One of the kitchen drawers had staining consistent with a previously cleaned pest problem. I called several times for follow-up and was eventually put through to the general manager. He was dismissive. He said repeatedly that they don't have this kind of problem, that staff looked and found nothing, and questioned whether what I photographed were even cockroaches. That directly contradicts what his own front desk told me about quarantine and extermination. He gave no indication the room would be treated or taken out of service. I have stayed with Marriott almost exclusively for years and have held Gold, Platinum, and Titanium status. No refund or compensation was offered, and no acknowledgment that anything happened. This is repulsive, and I expected far more from Marriott and Residence Inn.

Mentioning i was drunk. Just as every other person in the bar was. I was not fighting anyone being loud or doing anything to warrant that kind of horrible treatment. In fact i was wearing a business suit and it was clear i was not a local which was probably why i was treated that way. All i can say is i have over 30 people that work out of my NJ office just around the corner and i will be advising them not to step foot in such a horrible place.

I wasn't even aware they were a Marriott hotel. This place inside and out looks very modern and sleek. Once we walked in, we were greeted right away and checked in in no time. The lady was super nice and told me about all the various dining options they had to offer. We got to our room and I liked how simple and modern it was. It's functional, in the sense that there's plenty of seating area. It didn't look overly decorated and cluttered . The bed and shower were super comfy. Neighbors next to us seemed pretty quiet. We did have an incident on the last night. The fire alarm had gone off, and we all had to evacuate in the middle of the night. It was low 40s, high 30s when this happened. Thankfully, we took our keys with us so we were able to wait in the car. The fire truck came, and police inspected the building. I'm guessing someone had pulled the fire alarm? No one explained anything to us as we slowly made our way back to the room. Highly recommend this place. If I ever come back, I would want to go to the Bradford (rooftop bar).

I also called the hotel before my stay specifically to ask about food deliveries and was told that I would not have to go downstairs to pick up my food. Once I arrived, I was told that I did have to go downstairs for it. They are such a lovely couple who radiate positive energy every time you speak to them. Marissa loves to bake, something I enjoyed at every possible opportunity (her cookies were sooo soft, they were addicting) and their food was phenomenal. Presentation and taste both. I was astonished by the meals they created and the fact that they catered to a person's preference. (If you have any dietary restrictions, just let them know) They are very familiar with the area and local events, so they were able to answer all the questions we had and even suggest other things to do during our visit. Everything about the home/inn was incredible. The theme of the home reminded me of an old school T.V. show. The rooms themselves were amazing, they always had water to drink in the rooms and we were always able to bring snacks up there. At one point Tim and Marissa joined us at a game of monopoly, which we enjoyed very much. At this point, Tim and I ended up talking about our time serving in the U.S. Navy. I was extremely excited to have found that he was a Navy Vet as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere with much to do around the area. The noise level around the area, is very low and there are wineries approx. 12-20 minutes away. The innkeepers are what truly made this place and our time special.
