Absolutely amazing!! Some of the best macaroons I have ever tasted. I went to the kraft kitchen the first time and got a sample pack. I had never had macaroons and had no idea what I was doing or what the flavors were like. The lady explained what they were and their flavors. I was skeptical about trying the passionfruit and key lime ones they had that day because I am a very picky person but they were awesome! I checked this place out on a recommendation from my friend (whom I happen to be the maid of honor for) and was looking for a party favor for her shower. I emailed Chelles and they worked with me to come up with a quantity and price that worked for me. Even after me emailing four different times to change the quantity, she updated and sent a new invoice almost immediately and was incredibly understanding which I am very thankful for. The best part? They created a custom flavor/color for my friend's bridal shower! It was a Tiffany theme and we came up with "mac packs" of one Tiffany blue colored one and a white one. The white was vanilla bean and the Tiffany blue was Cinnamon. Honestly, the Cinnamon ones were my favorite ones that I have had from there and I wish it was a permanent flavor. It was phenomenal and the vanilla bean was amazing as well. The favors were a hit. If I had any complaints whatsoever, it would be that there needs to be a location or better yet a store front in Frisco where I live so I can go more often! Mmmmm wow so flavorful and the texture of the macarons were perfect. I've tried it once at their location at the Dallas Farmers Market and it was not very memorable. However, the ones I had today from their Plano location were delishhh and very memorable. My favorite was their coconut, strawberry cheesecake and passion fruit. Four words - Vanilla Bourbon Ice Cream. That was amazing!!! It was my first taste of Chelle's and I loved it. I have given it 3 stars because I love Macaroons and though some of these are tasty, they don't compete with Sugar Ray's in Plano. I tried 6 different flavors: Italian Cream, Lemon, Lemon Berry, Lavender Honey, Cookies and Cream, and Strawberry Cheesecake. Italian Cream - had a weird texture and not a lot of cream. Lemon - had a more airy cream and very light flavor. Lemon Berry - was my favorite. Very good lemon flavor. Lavender Honey - very unique taste and was like biting into a lavender candle. The lavender was overbearing to me Cookies and Cream - little to no flavor Strawberry Cheesecake - I could taste the red dye. But the flavor was pretty good. Texture was perfect. I went in this afternoon to make a large purchase for a birthday celebration, but decided to walk out because Joseph Gonzalez, the pastry chef decided he was going to chastise us for taking free samples without asking. Please advise this is not a store but is at the Richardson farmers market. I bought the black sesame macaron for $2. The size was like a normal macaron size. The taste was great! I wish I bought more because I don't know when I'll come back. Not only was the filling, black sesame but the shell was made with black sesame too. Next time I will get more and just in case you're wondering.. I don't know the folks who own this biz. If the owners are reading I would like to make a suggestion. When a customer pays for the item(s). Please have one person dealing with the customer. It was a bit weird when someone (other than the person giving me the macaron) snatched the money. Every time I make a trip back to Dallas, I always need to go to the Farmers Market to satisfy my Chelles craving. Chelles Macarons are seriously on point in terms of texture, taste, & flavor originality and accuracy. Rochelle, the owner, has worked super, super hard to perfect her macs over the years, and it is not difficult to see (or taste) it in just a bite! The texture of the macarons is perfect - the shell of the macaron is light, delicate, and cracks like an eggshell, while the inside is soft and melts in your mouth. Many times, I come across macarons that are tough and chewy through and through, but I've never experienced that as Chelles. Some of the flavors Chelles produces are inspired by the owner's Filipino-Asian background - you can find flavors ranging from blood orange to pumpkin spice to rose to matcha green tea to black sesame. The flavors are definitely accurate - I gave a friend some macs, and she said the flavor of the pumpkin spice mac was perfect, like she was eating a pumpkin pie. My favorite flavors thus far have been mint chocolate (loved the thick ganache filling) and black sesame (this is AMAZING). My boyfriend, who failed to see the appeal of macarons when he tried them in France, actually really enjoyed eating these macs - he ate almost a dozen in an hour (it was sort of gross to watch, but I think I did the same thing). The prices of her macs are also great relative to other places - for $20, you can purchase a dozen, and for $11 you can purchase a half-dozen. Customer service is also onnn point - the employees are very particular about which macarons they sell you, choosing the ones that are "ready" and have the perfect textures. honestly. 6 macaroons for 11 dollar or 12 for 20 dollar this kind of deal is no where to be found on this planet earth. they have unique flavor like fruity pebble and lucky charm along with monthly flavor and theme such as in March they featured Irish cream. the location is a little hard to find. located inside Craft kitchen. it sells a lot stuff than just macaroons. I saw different types of coffee inside the store. pretty impressive to be Honest! :) their macaroons are pretty good. tasted better and definitely had worse. The strawberry was my favorite and surprisingly fruity pebbles had the most whimsy and combination of flavors. Although All of them where really flavorful and delightful. The filling is creamy and rich and the cookie is as soft as pillows while at the same time being firm enough to hold the cookie together. I was so impressed with the delightful experience I will be back. I am a returning customer as long as they are in business. They even offer a card that is stamped each time you visit. I didn't know what to expect but I was blown away. I also enjoyed the vanilla bean, chocolate, raspberry, mint chocolate, and passionfruit. What I like most about these macarons is that they taste just like the flavor described, and they are not too sweet like other macarons I've tried. The shells are light and crispy. The filling is creamy and flavorful. They're just the perfect size. Definitely craving more macarons. Magnificent! I stumbled across Chelle's Macarons at the farmers market on Campbell road and just absolutely fell in love! They had the perfect texture and so many creative (and delicious) flavors to choose from. I LOVE the vanilla bean... I love french macaroons but I don't over indulge in them because I get tired of them quick... but Chelles I could have a dozen of you every day! They don't have their store yet... but when I was talking to Christina? she said that they are planning to open a permanent store in the downtown area. I'm happy for them but that is way too far for me! Right now they're selling at Farmer's markets (Dallas, Richardson, and Fairview). Fairview is only 10 minutes away from me! I stopped by early Saturday morning to grab a dozen and she had samples all ready to go for all flavors. I tried blood orange, raspberry, strawberry cheesecake, and passion fruit. They were all delicious and the macaroons itself were perfectly airy yet had a nice chew to them. I can tell the flavors tasted very natural and not artificial. My favorites were the blood orange and passion fruit. A dozen is only $20 and they accept credit cards! The packaging is absolutely adorable and would make a beautiful gift on its own. Another bad guy here :( based only on yelp reviews i got 48 macaroons from here to repackage as favors for a birthday party i was hosting. I loved the boxes they came in but felt the pricing was a bit too high for what are essentially cookies. My favourite was the vanilla as well followed by the salted caramel. Unfortunately i was underwhelmed by these macaroons. There are a lot of people describing them as "amazing" and that was just not my experience. I was very underwhelmed actually. All that said, i'm pretty hard to impress when it comes to dessert and can count on one hand the number of times i thought a dessert was "amazing". I'm also big on high flavor lower sugar type desserts which are pretty hard( expensive) to mass produce. So, try Chelles, and make up your own mind. i suspect most people would be more impressed than i was. read more

You must try this unless you don't like chocolate, which would be a very unfortunate situation. - Black sesame is chewier and still deliciously unique. - pumpkin is a tad more delicate than the others, but did I still devour them all without taking a breath in between bites? Absolutely yes. - Mango blossom is just as good as I remember from last time! Great balance between fruity and floral, but not too floral because who wants to bite into a flower. I don't even like floral flavors (ie lavender, rose, etc) but the subtle yet distinct flavors are what i love about chelles macarons. - autumn apple (light green macaron)- YES. Fall into fall with this macaron. - chocolate (raspberry colored macaron)- my fave out of the batch today, which is hard to say because all of them were amazing.
