3 of us. Saturday night. 7:30 So many great choices ( both in flavors and how you get it), it took us a little time to order, but staff was patient. You can also order off the screen. It was fairly crowded but came out quickly. No inside dining, but plenty of cute red picnic tables and benches. We ate in the car because it was a warm night. Only saw one trash can--hopefully there is another . We all three enjoyed our choices. No public restroom. Can pay card or cash. Easy in and out since it is on a corner. read more

We saw an Instagram reel with a 20% discount code for this ice cream place so we decided to try. We got a small ice cream cone with banana pudding and strawberry matcha flavors, and they were massive. The banana pudding flavor was so so good, very creamy and not too sweet. The strawberry matcha flavor was okay, matcha was a bit bitter and strawberry was too sweet. I would highly recommend the banana pudding! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Banana Pudding & Strawberry Matcha - Desserts Near Me - Richardson, Texas

This is one of my new favorite ice cream places of all time. I got the black cherry chocolate chunk and chocolate raspberry truffle and was living my best life. The creaminess is spot on and the flavor is incredible. I also love all the different random deals they do depending on the day. The outside seating is perfect for summer. The employees were so nice about trying different flavors too! I liked it so much I took my parents in California when I went to visit the next week! read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Small Cup Black Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, Black Cherry Chocolate Chunk - Desserts Near Me - Richardson, Texas

Having an ice cream restaurant in North Texas with no indoor seating makes little sense. The Caramel with Sea Salt ice cream was inedible. They only had one person working, which made the service very slow. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a great addition to the local ice cream scene! It opened yesterday, March 7th and is located at the NW corner of Renner and Custer in Richardson. The ice cream is made fresh in the store daily and there are over 24 ever changing flavors. 150 recipes on rotation. I downloaded the app and there is a huge listing of flavors that you can check which are your favorites and get notified when they are available! They have a selection of vegan non-dairy oat milk creations and you can even order cakes and pies! We ordered a Turtle Sundae and it was DELICIOUS! The vanilla soft serve ice cream was creamy and tasted so fresh! A nice mix of creamy caramel and hot fudge along with perfectly toasted pecans make this a winner! It's a little pricey at $7.49, but with the initial $3 off registration credit it brought the price down to $4.49, and $4.85 with tax. The staff took great care of us - Joshua waited on us and took our order and the manager was friendly and helpful and even gave us a coupon for our next visit! We will definitely be back! read more

I love ice cream. It's my literal favorite dessert these days. I'm definitely not new to Bruster's but this was my first time at this location & it didn't disappoint. This location is the biggest that I've been to and it's clean and well maintained. The ice cream was so fresh and creamy. I ordered one scoop of cookies and cream & one scoop of New York cheesecake. Both were amazing! Stop by if you're in the area!!! read more

After reading the reviews on Bruster's my wife and I decided to give it a try. I ordered a single scoop coffee on a regular cone, and it was smooth and creamy. My wife ordered a single Oreo cookie in a waffle cone, and it was HUGE with massive amounts of Oreo cookie in the scoop. She loved it. The service was quick and easy. Keep them in mind when you are up for a sweet snack on date night. read more

Good to great textured ice cream, but some of the flavors are hit or miss. The prices are absurd when you can walk 50 yards into the Tom Thumb and get more ice cream and variety for about half the price. That said, I think it's quality. What I can't stand about this place and I've complained about it to them twice now, is that when you order online and then go to pick up, they all just ignore you as if you're a ghost. Of the 5 or so times I've ordered online for pickup, I've waited at least 10 minutes and then have to knock on the window. They all act like I'm inconveniencing them. It even has a sticker on the window that says online orders pick up here. Oh the irony. One time I got fed up with it and went to the order window only for the guy to tell me to go to the other window. Serious incompetence going on. I'm so frustrated by this constant experience that I won't be back. Apparently my time isn't valuable to them. read more

Meh, this place was way better in the pictures than actuality. There are a lot of Ice Cream places and you gotta be better than this to make it. My experience started like this, a young man was out front, a customer, asking other customers for grocery money. Now my heart and pocket bleeds for these folks, but don't let your customers get harassed while they wait for their food. My ice cream, Cookies N Cream, was served dripping. I should at least be able to get to my car in 73 degree weather before my hands are messy from being served melted ice cream. The flavor, just ok. I ordered a small and the serving size was really big. The cone it was served on was stale. My friend ordered the Chocolate ice cream, and while she was impressed with the size as well, she said hers was too melted as well and that it was far from the best ice cream she has had. Let's talk ambiance. It is all walk up to a window and then walk to another window and get your order. No drive thru, and honestly, to be competitive in those market, I think not having a drive thru window is a miscalculation. Whether or not it is a miscalculation, it's an inconvenience to your customers especially on a rainy night like it was when I was here. I live about 4 miles from this place and drove past 6 ice cream stores that are better than this to get here, so for sure I won't be back, though I wish them luck as I don't wish failure on any business. On a more positive note, the staff was friendly and while it was not my cup of tea, it did not completely suck. read more

Excellent ice cream. My husband had the vegan white chocolate raspberry and it was good. Of course I had to try it. I had the blueberry cheesecake and salted Carmel. The blueberry cheesecake was excellent! Definitely a must try! read more

Ice cream was good, but I wasn't ready for their ordering process. There are no entrances like most ice cream places; they have 3-4 drive-up type windows that you can't drive up to or through, it seems they want you to order via there app and get out of your vehicle to get your order. They do give you nice discounts on your next visit, but not sure if I will revisit. read more

Omg so rude!! This lady with pink hair was so disrespectful to my mother. My mother didn't like her ice cream so went to give it back without asking for any refund and this employee slammed the ice cream back outside and slammed the window shut. Someone needs to check her attitude because never have I seen customer service so disappointing. What a joke! read more

Stood outside window for 10 minutes. Only person working was in back washimg dishes and never looked up to see she had customers.

Ice cream was ok, service not so much... on one side there is 2 windows 1 said pick up, the other says nothing just had the menu, we walk up to it, the lady inside just piddled around, drank her drink answered the phone and never once came and said we need to go to the other side that has 2 windows. No wave over no nothing.. Ok whatever.. went ahead and ordered. Instead of getting our ice cream ready. She took the next customers order, she's the only one in there.. took at least 15 mins for her to even scoop our ice cream. Yes, it is hot out, so standing there waiting for her to take 3 more orders before even getting ours ready a little ridiculous. Tongue in cheek has way better service from mostly high school kids.. read more

It was good. Be advised Sundays contain 2 scoops of ice cream for $7+. I asked for another scoop but they told me it would be extra, I handed over my debit card and then was told to wait in line again.. I just left. I'm over it read more

Delicious variety of flavors both regular and vegan options and great customer service!

Friendly staff. Explained their options, ordered a waffle cone with two scoops. Creamy, with lots of flavor and not too sweet. Perfection!

This is the creamiest, most flavorful ice cream we had ever eaten. The service is outstanding and very quick.

First time here: ice cream was decent but made my mom very sick. Second time here: decided to give this place another chance. Tasted like bluebell this time and had some freezer burn. Never coming here again as it is $6 for a small cup of ice cream that isn't good is outrageous. read more

This ice cream is fine. I got the mint chip ice cream and it was good. The service was nice. I got my ice cream quickly with not a long wait too. The cost was fine. $5 for 1 scoop. Just a regular ice cream place honestly. Nothing special. Still great though ! read more

Ice cream was pretty good. Price is outrageous. $5 for small scoop. Service was horrendous. Took way too long standing at window (second in line). Takes them forever to get ice cream to you. Do yourself a favor and go buy a pint of blue bell. Costs less and no wait. read more
