A little fun fact for yah! Did you know Feb 3rd was national carrot day? I sure didn't haha, but what a great reason to get some carrot cake. But if you find yourself stuck between choices, someone would always be happy to help. I decided to choose the 7" carrot cake. This literally made the birthday woman's day. The cake was amazing. Texture inside had perfect balance between moisture and structure. The icing was not overwhelming at all. It was smooth and creamy. Every bite was chock full with comfort. Each scoop had a light sprinkle of shredded carrots which was perfect. We had a 7 people total, and there was almost 1/3 of the cake left. On my most recent visit the owner was upfront socializing and encouraging customers to try samples of the cheesecakes. She was very sweet. You absolutely must try their red velvet cupcakes. The moist cake is deliciously old fashioned with not too much chocolate and not too much red coloring. The icing is also the perfect balance of sugar and cream cheese.
