The food was amazing! Everything I ordered was delicious and I will definitely be a returning customer. I would highly recommend , you will not be disappointed! There is limited seating but I really enjoyed the vibe and coziness of the restaurant. Great food, great music, and very hospitable staff! This is my honest and personal review, go check them out for yourself! :)

    Sugar crusted corn dog

Decided to check out the place because I love Korean corn dogs. I got the plain, the sugar coating on top is too much. I ended up picking it off. The beef dumplings were great! They come with a sweet sauce, however they are so flavorful, you don't need the sauce. The fried chicken wings are great. They are crunchy and have a great flavor. I can't pinpoint the flavors, however it was amazing. The service was really good. The staff were nice and the order was fast. I would come back, I'd probably stick to other things besides the corndog.

The place had a nice decorations. The menu was filled with so many options. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba, fried dumplings, potato corn dog, and Oreo corn dog. Now the boba tea was okay, I'm not a huge coffee or milk person but I wanted to try something new. It was light and not heavy at all but it could have used more sugar. Plus the brown sugar boba was bitter as well. The fried dumplings was the best thing even beating the corn dogs. It was light and airy and not too greasy. The flavor of beef meat and sauted vegetables gave it a flavor punch. Now the corn dogs were not the best, and it had nothing to do with the inside meat and cheese but the coating itself. Once you eat a couple of bits you get a sour and bitter after taste from the coating. It was like they were using either bad oil or bad coating batter. So unfortunately had to cut it open and eat the insides. The service was good, but will I be back? Maybe not unless for the tea and fried dumplings.

The ordering process via ipad was easy; we just passed it around and hit the submit button at the end. The sauce bar had a lot of choices, and they had a small dessert bar as well. Overall, it's just what you'd expect so there are no hidden charges like "broth charge extra", etc like Happy Lamb. Meat and vegetable quality was good overall; fresh. Our server Mimi was on point and was great at her job, so kudos. Two things that were slightly annoying which prevented the 5 star rating were: 1) 18% gratuity for party of 5 or more; just another way to apply a price adder I guess. 2) photographer took our photos then then tried to sell us each framed picture for $20 each. A bit dear, and I would've bought them if they were $10 ea. Other than that, it's a nice place to have a meal.

Pros: The place was clean, the food was quality, the service fast, and friendly. Cons: Two sets of tongs for a family of four. All the sauce ingredients with no measurements on the listed recipes. I do have my own base stir-fry sauce I do at home that I was able to make. - The Sauce and tongs is why a one star deduction. The favorite was definitely the grill. Their base marinades don't need sauces. I did use my aforementioned sauce to flavor things like the plain chicken one of my kids ordered. Hot Pot: 1 Miso and 3 Toms. Two of us thought the Tom was not good. One thought it was okay. The Miso was liked... but as the youngest chose it and was randomly throwing stuff in there... Well her cooking skills need help, but that's not on them. Overall it was a better experience than I expected, even being the one to cook 90% of it. It was a good fun family outing. If/when we do this again, I'll likely ask if I can try other soup bases. Maybe using their mini sauce bowls before committing. Note: I do strongly suggest doing your homework if you are unfamiliar with this type of faire. We did. It enriches the experience. I'll likely bring a note sheet on sauce recipes. If you have more than two people, bring extra tongs. (I did ask for more, but didn't get more - Unsure if this is protocol or oops.)

It was self seating when you enter in. My friend and I got a table and they quickly brought over the menus. We ordered crab Rangoon, chicken wings, classic bang mi, seafood pho, pho with everything, Thai ice tea and mango summer pop. Out of everything we ate, we couldn't agree on the rating. There's certain preferences so let's break it down. Crab Rangoon was on the sweeter side. Chicken wing was seasoned properly but the sauce on the side is also a sweet and spicy mix. Banh mi... I'm going to have to give this a pass because the sauce was unnecessary and made the whole sandwich red. It was screaming red40. Phos - average. It's about the same you'll get in Chinatown so unless you want to make the drive, this will do the job. Noodles were soft, broth was seasoned. Drinks- my Thai tea and the other table's Thai tea are not identical.. this means that they add as much milk as they want but it changes the taste. Mine was too much milk and it wasn't the orange Thai tea color. My friend said her drink was enjoyable and I saw that a lot of people ordered the same drink. Overall. I would come back if I was in the area. It's nice inside, noodles were hot, and service was quick.

At 5:00pm on a Saturday, we were the only party there so it was a pretty quiet outing. I hope this was an anomaly, because the restaurant definitely deserves much more foot traffic. There seemed to be quite a few to-go orders, though. We were brought an array of complimentary banchan, which definitely set the meal up for success! They were all delicious, but my favorite had to be the pickled cucumbers/radish. For the main, I opted for the chicken bulgogi. It had a nice amount of heat and lasted me for three meals. The flavor was good but some of the chicken was a touch dry. I did like the variety of vegetables. The rice was pretty standard and a welcome supplement to the spice. We had a good experience overall and I would definitely return to try more of the menu!

With that said, here are things people should know: - Chinese owner who said she had Korean chef but the person cooking our food was a Chinese lady. Not sure if there is a Korean chef but honestly and as other reviews have said, the food is bland and didn't seem like a Korean cooked the banchan nor the food, see my next comment below. - As soon as I tasted my jajangmyun, I knew it was from a package because I have had it before! That's why people complain about the portions, it's because the jajangmyun that I got came from a store bought package. I also saw packets of store bought nengmyun broth in the fridge near the register. - as a Korean foodie, if you look at the menu, they sell everything! But Korean restaurants can't sell everything because a lot of Korean food including the broth based dishes require a lot of prep and boiling for hours. That's why you don't see Korean restaurants with 50 different items like this place does.
