Friendly service. Food prepared quickly and served hot. The fresh cut fries were near perfect, sufficiently crisp and well-seasoned. The Chicago style hot dog was good as expected, and the chili dog was better than expected. I usually receive a mushy texture chili on chili dogs, similar to refried beans, but not here. Tried this place again . Gyro salad was brown iceberg lettuce, unripe tomatoes, tons of onions and 4 1/2 pieces of burnt pre frozen gyro meat . Soggy fries and the worst fried pickles I ever had. Chicken pita was ok at best and a grilled chicken salad that was not much better than the gyro salad. Nobody was happy with their order, wont be back . Too many good food places around here and I can't understand how anyone thinks this is good. read more

111th Pulaski where kids eat free of you dine in. What's crazy is eating in is not conducive for children. The seats are low and the bar is too high. To expect kids to dine in there should be lower tables. This is just not a good place to insist kids dine in to eat free it's just not kid friendly. read more

Was passing by when I seen this hot dog stand and was pleasantly surprised. First off I got greeted as soon as I walked in, which is always nice. I ordered the #2, which is 2 hot dogs with fries. The hot dogs had the snap as soon as I bit into, something that most other hot dogs stands miss out because of a lack of quality. And the fries, the fries were so fucken good. Tried it twice. First time i got a sausage sandwich with red sauce. Barely had any red sauce and the fries were cold. Second time i got a bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was so fatty and burger was just ok. Again fries cold and could be cooked more. Also got a vanilla shake. So plain. For the price of food and what i got i will not be back. read more

I have tried to go to the new location on 119th St. Been in drive thru 3 times. Only been acknowledged once and just pulled away the other 2 times. The time I did order I got a beef sandwich w/fries for about 16 bucks. Did not come with a drink. Sandwich was ok but it was a little cold. Fries the same. Prices are almost twice as much as Joey's which is not very far away. Not sure why I have to get fries with every order. If I just want a hotdog why does it have to come with fries. Based on the service and pricing I don't see the 119th location being open very long. read more

Nicky V's has grown to be one of my favorites in the last few months. Their fries are the best, hands down. Everything I've had on the menu is awesome, ranging from burgers and dogs to breaded steak and phillys. It's relatively cheap as well which can't be said for a lot of places nowadays. First time and we were blown away. Quality fast food at truly decent prices. Their breaded steak sandwich was HUGE and so tender and flavorful!! The peppers in it were really good too. Their cheeseburger was delish!!! Good quality meat and toppings were great. I do have to say the fries were incredible. Maybe the best I've had in a long time!!! Crispy and flavorful and plentiful!!! We got more food than we could even eat for a very fair and reasonable price. Service was super quick as well! Great little neighborhood joint that we will be happy to patronize again when we are in the mood for some good, quick, quality fast food. I ordered 4 hot dogs and the order taker said that each hot dog comes with fries. I said fine, so I ordered 2 hot dogs with just extra onion, tomatos, pickle. The other two hot dogs were with everything on them. Get home and two hot dogs with everything had just pickle, relish and hot peppers which I asked when I came in what do you all put on the hot dogs and the lady told me. The pictures of the "tacos" looked far bigger from the menu when you are standing there from what they really are. Everything seemed to being going great that day, the woman at the counter was very nice. I even put extra money in the tip jar "before" I got my order. I mean this is Nicky's (a good known restaurant) that has been around a long time. I thought how could I go wrong? Until, I opened up the tacos. Big Disappointment ! Their were two and they both were the size of a little fat potatoes. I don't understand how management can sell tacos that are wide but two inches long. Nicky's should make there tacos at least to a normal size. But, this is how they sell them at this location. I'm sorry this is just the way it is. This place replaced Diggity Dogs.. This was our first visit. We ordered a chili cheese dog and Chicago style hotdogs. The hotdogs and chilidog were served piping hot and were very flavorful. The french fries were freshly prepared and serving size was huge. Our only criticism was that the chilidog was put together in a way that caused the chili and cheese to end up everywhere but on the hot dog. Next time I'll ask for toppings on the side. Overall, the food quality and presentation were fine, and we'll be back. Pricing was reasonable. Employees were friendly. read more
