Standing there looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that their electronic menu has commercials, which last 45 seconds, preventing you from seeing the menu during that time. Then I asked for a single burrito with suizo, which was on the menu. I was told I would be charged for the dinner, Even though the menu clearly stated Single Burrito 10.99 add Suizo $2.00 more. I asked why I had to pay for a dinner, when the menu showed differently. I was told "it's just the way we do it". From the picture, you can see this item is offered. I was not asking for anything special. I did order and my burrito tasted good. But the upcharge of $4 for an ounce of rice and an ounce of beans set the tone for my visit. read more

I am absolutely blown away by the amazing vegan options here. Not only is the vegan menu massive, you can tell by the authentic flavors they really put their heart and soul into it! Today was my second time enjoying the food here, and I met the owner-- what a wonderful, kind & passionate individual. The jackfruit is out of this world! And don't get me started on the vegan horchata, it's to die for! Please support this AMAZING establishment, they deserve more hype! Us vegans are incredibly lucky to have a hidden GEM like this in the Chicagoland area! read more

Coming into Cervantinos you'll notice that they're proud to showcase their #2 Mexican Cuisine in Palos Heights award, and it was well earned. The pastor was well seasoned and great in the burrito, the carne asada tacos were slightly under seasoned but heavy on meat to counter that, and arguably one of the best horchata's I've had. The service was quick while the inside was clean and well kept. The grill-master even came out to check in while eating which is rare to see. All said, a very solid Mexican spot worth checking out and worth their award. Looking forward to coming back and seeing #1 soon. read more

Very solid charred stake & chicken tacos. Solid chips & salad too. Small place, service was excellent

The customer service is consistently excellent. Great attitude from the team. Everyone is always in a good mood. The food is great. The vibe is very cozy. They just added a cute outdoor patio and it's a good spot to stop for lunch or get dinner since they're open late. All around a favorite spot of mine. Wish them all the success! read more

No negative reviews? Well, then I must try them. And I'm glad I did. Ordered steak, ground beef, and chicken tacos to go. Everything was delicious, seasoned and tasty. What sets them apart is they charcoal grill their meats. So juicy and delicious. They have lunch specials and they have Taco Tuesday ($2.25 per taco, carryout ONLY) These are the best tasting tacos in the SW suburbs! read more

Great tacos and tostadas I have had in awhile! I came here on taco Tuesday and tried beef taco and chicken taco and they were delicious! Best ground beef tacos in the entire southwest suburbs. The corn tortilla they used makes it super tasty. The pork tamales were a bit try and tasteless. Service is ok and place is basic but clean. read more

We stopped here while enroute to Midway for a flight looking for a late lunch, early dinner. The restaurant is in a strip mall type location and is the second location for the business. The first we were told is quite successful and has a bar, with this new location having lots of business from local lunch traffic and takeout. The dining area and kitchen are both very clean. I saw the kitchen firsthand after the manager was kind enough to allow me use of the staff bathroom. A new patron bathroom coming soon. We started with chips salsa and guac which was fresh and tasty. We each enjoyed enchiladas for our meal, one with refried and one with whole black beans. This restaurant used quality ingredients that are seasoned and cooked well. The manager told us the chicken in our dishes was smoked by them, and we agreed tasted great. The black beans were seasoned well and addictive to eat with the freshly made rice. We were given a free sample of their shrimp and fish which I was cautious to try but it was fresh, hot, and seasoned well. I would consider getting it if I went back, even though I am careful on the road for fresh seafood. I have enjoyed countless Mexican feeds around the U.S. with an occasional dud. I have had many in simple locations, surrounded by Mexican patrons, that was outstanding food. This food is excellent and worth the trip and visit to try. It's simple, well made, fresh. The location is small and not fancy but clean and worth it for the food. read more

We enjoyed the vegan option as well as the pot roast burrito. I was hesitant to try the vegan tacos but my friend convinced me to try one. I ate two!! They were tasty with a combination of textures. The staff was friendly and the chef even came out to say hello. I really enjoyed the place and will have to return. The place is nondescript but the food is the star here anyway. read more

Stopped here Friday and ordered a burrito to go. The meat was flavorful and both the green and red sauce were good. This day they said the green was spicier than the red and that was right up my alley. I will be back! read more

Horrible, everything was greasy. The steak fajitas were so tough you could have broke windows with it, and meat tasted old, ridiculously small portions, not that I would have wanted bigger, and ridiculously high prices for a carry out restaurant. Not good at all. read more

The food was incredible! The chef came out to give us a portion of their white rice and it was amazing. Everything had flavors and you can tell that every detail was handcrafted. I highly recommend trying the white rice and the asada plate was delicious. read more

Delicious! Wonderful to see vegetarian and vegan options! The vegetarian burrito was loaded with vegetables and we loved the elotes! Also- the escabeche and salsas on the side made everything even better!! Friendly service and quick to pick to pick up for dinner at home! Worth going and supporting a local spot :) read more

This was a good experience. The seating is simple and limited, so I suspect this is mainly a take-out place. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out to you. The food was fine. There appears to be a significant vegan menu, though I didn't try it out myself. read more

Great little place! Food was fantastic! Great vegan options. The staff was friendly and service was great.

Best steak tacos I've had in a while, it's really hard finding a good taco spot in the south suburbs, I would have taken a picture but I made them disappear. 5 star tacos, the steak is real juicy and just melts away and the corn tortillas were so fresh, excellent service, there's a new addition to the front where you can sit up front like a bar it's pretty cozy. read more

We got take out. The food was really fresh! The accompanying sides with the excellent mini chimichanga were generous and delicious! At first we thought their food was a little pricey but the food was so good that you get what you pay for. I'm hoping they will have a menu flier so that you can order ahead for pickup. read more

I love the food and I love the service, excellent! I love the burritos, but I'm especially a fan up there tostadas.

As a taco connoisseur I can't say enough great things about this place or its staff. We walked in last night and were greeted warmly. We had tacos, a burrito and nachos. He even threw in an extra tamale!! Excellent food (protein was moist, tender and had great color and smoky seasoned flavor), beautifully spicy salsa, and amazing staff. Some of the best nachos I've ever had and the pot roast taco is unrivaled!!! Will be back to sample more of their menu. read more
