My partner and I have been driving by this place for the past 3 years since it opened, and we finally decided to come in. The chips and salsa were offered for free, and the salsa is tasty. For drinks, my partner ordered the Mexican Coke and I ordered Joe's Peach tea. I was happy to find out Joe's tea is made with sugar not High Fructos Corn Syrup. I wanted to try a shrimp taco, fish taco, and enchilada, while my partner wanted to try the birria and al pastor. So, I ordered the combo which comes with 1 taco (shrimp), 1 enchilada (cheese, verde, suiza), and 1 quesadilla (beef) and he ordered the 3 taco (tilapia, al pastor, and birria) dinner. He ate my quesadilla and I ate his fish taco. He absolutely loved the birria taco. He said it was different and had more spice in the consume than at other places. He also over the beef quesadilla. Unfortunately, he didn't taste any pineapple on the Al pastor, so that was his least favorite. I loved the shrimp taco. It had 4 large, well seasoned shrimp and three slices of avocado along with chipotle mayo, slaw, and ai squeezed lime over the top. I will definitely get this again. The tilapia was blackened, but didn't have as much flavor as the shrimp. The enchilada was okay. I want to try their red sauce next time. We also ordered the churro bite which were delicious. They come with chocolate, cajeta, and vanilla sauces in the side, and the individual churros are coated in cinnamon sugar. They were fresh and hot. Our waitress was very helpful and on top of things. She had perfect timing as well. The interior is well lit and beautifully decorated for Christmas. And don't miss the coat/purse hangers on the side of the booths. When I first saw the name Meshico, I didn't know it was more historically accurate for the Nahuatl pronunciation of Mexihco. But I appreciate that this place is named this, because it made me look it up, and ai learned something. read more

BEWARE GIFT CARD BUYERS!!! Went here this evening for dinner because we had a gift card from a friend. Service has always been slow but the food authentic for the most part. We left the money for the meal only to be chased into the parking lot & told that the gift card which was purchased September 2025 expired December 31, 2025. REALLY?!?! What a disgrace. Celebrated my son's 17th birthday by ordering some authentic Mexican food to take home and decided to give Meshico a try and it did not disappoint. It was just ok. The taco salad was good but u can't really mess up a taco salad. I came here for the quesabirria which was disappointing. There wasn't a lot of meat, the cheese wasn't really melted, and it tasted very burnt. The consome was an extra charge which I never experienced before bc the whole point of it is to dip the tacos. The service was good though our waitress was very nice. I will give them a second chance but I will order something else. The churros we got for desert were delicious though. So, this place could have a good thing. Pretty small limited seating. Ambiance is nice. Servers are friendly, food is top notch. Here are the negatives, place is small, servers are inattentive, service extremely slow, place is not connected to each other to perform a successful dinner rush. Went there for dinner tacos and a burrito. Was there for one hour and a half. Such slow service. Two servers running like barnyard chickens trying to keep up with a full house but really fell short. Four groups of four or more walked out because no one greeted them or there was no where to put them, empty tables not being cleaned and ready to turn, get someone that takes care of that and customers requests and greeting customers tell them it will be 15 minutes don't let them just stand at the door and get frustrated,that worker also will get more salsa, more tea/water etc..people trying to give you their money but you refuse to take it. Once they leave in frustration they tell three people and so on, it really hurts your business in more ways that you would think. Can't turn away customers. This place can and should survive, the food is very good but they need to rally the troops and get help on how to run a business. Too many loose strings. A pitcher of iced tea with zero ice, a thimble size of salsa with the chips, charge me more but get it right. This restaurant was severely over burdened and certainly fell way short on ability to handle a very busy time frame. I also suggest a frozen margarita machine. Give it a try, but I recommend a very slow time which may be often if they don't get their ability to run a restaurant corrected. read more

This was my friends and myself first time there. The food was very good. I had the steak tacos with the cilantro and onions. Very good. I'm used to the American style with lettuce and tomatoes. Not sure if they offer that too but I can ask the next time I go there. My friends were happy with their food as wells. Server was very friendly and helpful. I had Horchata which I love. We will be back again!! I wanted to add one more thing to this review. Being that winter is upon us the only issue I had was where we were seated in the restaurant. Every time the door opened this blast of cold hit our table. When I go in the winter months I'll have to remember not to sit where we sat before. It was very uncomfortable trying to eat our meal. We tried Meshico last night on a whim, and it was a great decision. My wife ordered a 3-taco dinner, all chicken. I ordered the same, but with two steak and one chicken taco. We also ordered chips and salsa - this was all for takeout. First, the salsa - very fresh and not too hot. It was the perfect combination of ingredients. Next - TACOS. Everything was fantastic. Each taco was wrapped in paper and then in foil to keep everything hot. The rice and beans sides were tasty - and there were peas in the rice, which was a great touch. You don't see that everywhere. The tacos were great - they weren't smothered in cheese or sour cream the way some places do. Great fresh cilantro taste. The chicken and steak were done to perfection. The staff were great, and the restaurant itself is very cozy and clean. Next time we'll eat in. A great touch was the photos of Mexican movie stars on the walls (Pedro Infante, Maria Felix, etc). Been waiting for this restaurant to open for quite awhile, finally heard that they were open so I had to give it a try. First impressions were that this is a fairly small restaurant and it is super clean. I would say that this a little bit of a upscale place judging by the menu descriptions of the dishes and presentation of the food. The food was very good and it was delivered to the table piping hot. Chips and salsa were served at the table and refills were offered when needed. Also there is a upcharge if using a credit card here, three percent. My only gripes are that every time the door was opened you got a artic blast from the cold weather outside and they only serve pop in cans (unless you order Mexican Coke). read more

Dined in with our family of 3 on a Monday night. Nice seating, restaurant was busy but we didn't wait long for anything. Waitress was absolutely wonderful!
