Great food, low price, clean, quick and delicious. Great ranch, great burger. Friendly and hard working staff.

What an experience...the young man taking orders was nice but not a great listener at all! I had 2 orders all #1's Italian beef combo, 2 on one order and then mine alone. I paid for the 2 and when I ordered mine I said #1 and asked for hot sauce on fries. Well he just put the beef alone no fry or pop. I paid separately for a pop and wasn't paying over $3 for fries. The beef wasn't horrible but no real Italian beef flavors if it wasn't for the hot peppers it's like warmed store bought roast beef. Any who try for yourself! read more

We love joeys. however, the customer service has gone completely down hill. as someone who's worked in food service, i understand how stressful it can be. I can't tell you the last time i had a good experience with the cashiers here. It feels like you're inconveniencing them by simply placing an order. I get it that everyone has bad days, but today is the second time i've gone there and been met with an attitude by counter help for no reasoning . Will definitely be looking elsewhere read more

I order a gyro sandwich this evening stated onion only and because of allergies and they didn't care. You can see it on the receipt never returning. read more

Joey's is our neighborhood go-to for quick eats. My son gets their burger meal while I stick to the chicken Philly, which is consistently delicious. They season the chicken well and do not skimp on the portion. The prices are affordable and the wait time is fast. You can eat in and some do because it's clean and has a good amount of counter space. read more

Joey's Red Hots - Chicken Famous Philly Cheesesteak - Hot Dogs Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Stopped in for Chicago Style hot dogs while passing through the area on a Route 66 trip. We had a group of 4. Our order was taken promptly and our food was hot and ready in a short period of time. I had the Chicago Style dog and cheddar stuffed jalapeño poppers while my wife had the corn dog meal with fries. Both were very good. I especially liked the spicy pepper that was tucked in with the pickles, tomatoes and onions. I would definitely go back for the dogs and to try some other menu items on the Gyro side of the menu. read more

ordered extra tatziki, got 0 tatziki. fire the rookie. one bite everyone knows the rules.

The fried mushrooms were great! The dipping ranch for them was NOT. It literally tasted like blue cheese without the blue cheese. The bun was toasted or stale on all the hotdogs I got. I ordered via uber eats. I ordered the 3 dogs option. The chili cheese dog wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The chili was good but overall the flavors just didn't tie together because the cheese is like a tasteless thick matter. It's a no. Then I had the traditional Chicago style dogs. Besides the stale/toasted bun, everything was there but the pickles are sort of sweet which is a no! There was no celery salt. Yall need better condiments!!! Won't order again. And three dogs with no fries is awful. read more

Soggy unseasoned burger grease tasted old. Fries unsalted. Higher than average for lunch at that quality

Over priced. I came in order a burger they charge Extra for every thing that should already be included in the meal sauce on fries cheese etc and when you pay for the extras they dont give you your moneys worth. Every soda in their machine is gross which is what's included in the meal. would not be back. read more

Sometimes its intimidating arriving when the parking lot is full and the order line inside is long. But they usually knock out the orders in a timely fashion. I had not ordered the Gyro in a long time and felt it was overdue. I am so glad I did! The amount of meat was massive and unable to be consumed. It was also fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered extra sauce and wasn't charged extra for it. Always my go to safe place at the last minute. And this is the Orland Park location not Orland Hills. read more

My partner and I came here on Wednesday May 29th for a quick bite to eat. We ordered a polish with French fries. The polish was made Chicago style with a poppy seed bun, and they were generous with the toppings. The polish sausage itself was cooked to perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We took our order to go, and they wrapped it nicely with foil. It's also our first time coming here, and we are looking forward to coming back to try other items on their menu. There's plenty of free parking on premise, but it can be a bit awkward to get into the lot when cars are parked by the entrance. Other than that, I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for fast food. They also have several other locations in the Chicagoland area. read more

I was surprised when I drove up on a Friday night before the Super Bowl and two cars were in the parking lot. My order was ready and the fries were already cold before I got them in the car. My tamale and hamburgers, I microwaved. But my disappointment of all is my Italian Beef on Garlic bread, with an Extra Beef. When did they change!!??? That was the BEST part of ordering the extra meat was the overly stuffed little sandwich. I am so disappointed with the drizzle of mozzarella cheese and a half soggy piece of bread. My childhood memory is gone. No worries I won't order it again. Nope! I guess new management. There was a time when you could barely get in the parking lot. This presentation is probably why no one was inside. The good ole days! read more

This food was completely salty. I ordered a Gyro. The meat was stringy gummy and got very little of it, the sauce wasn't Gyro sauce. What ever it was It's water down. I can pick up a Polish and hot dog down the street and get more better tasting fries and they've been around much longer. This is the third time I've been there twice I got gyros and once I got the hotdog and Polish special. Nothing special about it . Take some advice, if they want to carry that name "red hots " they need to pick their damn shit up because they suck. Good place for cheap food, which is probably poisonous. Or maybe they only serve certain people properly part of a particular group. read more

I've visited Joeys several times this year, and the majority of the visits have been great. I love the hot dogs and fries and the gyro with fries. Joey's Serves a very large amount of food for a cheap price so their food is a great deal. The food is cooked fresh, but there is a long wait, so I recommend that you order ahead on the phone. I would have given Joeys 5 stars, but unfortunately you just messed my order up this weekend. I attempted to call Joeys on Saturday night on October 9th 2021 at 6:30 to place an order, but your phone number with disconnected! When drove to the restaurant the first thing I noticed is that your young staff were not wearing face masks! Your employees should not be working around food without a mask! It's ironic that they remembered to put ear buds in to listen to music, but couldn't remember their protective gear. Secondly, my gyro meat was sliced too thick and it was chewy! Major turn off. Thirdly, we ordered and paid for 4 extra Pita breads that we did not receive! Sadly, we could not call and complain because your phone was disconnected. Pay your phone bill Joey's!!!!! Maybe you should hire a more mature staff and train them properly. Get it together Joey's!!!! read more

Joey's will give you the feels of an authentic hot dog establishment. The photos on the wall are classic old Chicago (you won't see any diversity... but that's pretty accurate considering the chains began in Bridgeport). The food was flavorful... the veggie hot dog was delicious, although I haven't tried many in my life. The famous chicken Philly was hot, fresh, and simply wonderful! Their menu provides a lot of options. The Italian ice was fabulous! My kids and I are in the car because it didn't look like much cleaning occurs on a regular basis in the eating areas... but there are constant customers coming in. The service would be my lowest rating. The young lady who took my order and the orders I witnessed wasn't the most pleasant, but she was quick with the orders. There are public restrooms. Parking lot with lots of space. Overall, three stars. I would give my food 4.5, but the service and the fact they pretty much forgot my second order (we went back for a shake and the Italian ice after our food). It's worth a try, but if the lady taking your order isn't pleasant, please look beyond her and enjoy the meal! Sometimes people have a bad day. read more

nasty just nasty like they didn' add no lettuce, tomatoes or peppers like I asked the meat was really just fat and it funny

Don't do the burgers! Not good! The fries are great. Service timely. Atmosphere adequate. For this diner, it would not be my first go to.

I always eat at Joey's after school. Very filling and polite, great food, quick and easy spot. Clean food always a pleasant trip.

Sometimes you just want a good hot dog. I had been craving a classic all beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun with mustard, relish, and hot peppers. That's how I like it and that's what I got. NO ketchup people. Lol. Once again, Joey's delivered. read more

1st time here, the prices are great, small place that was pretty busy. But I'm disturbed by the fact that I was asked if I'm paying cash or card, I paid cash, and was still charged a processing fee! Grant it, it's only 26 cents, but let's say 100 cash customers are charged this, that's a free $26 that' they're getting (and this is only based off of my total,) they charge 3.99% of your preTax total. Can't really mess up a chili cheese dog, it was tasty as was the shake. The fries were soggy and cold. read more

Joey's has a nice variety of food items that I've tried and all are really good and even better than other establishments offering the same items. The food is always fresh, hot, made upon order and when you ask for no salt on your food they make sure they cook it exactly as you want it. They have a quick wait time in order's and when you place your order over the phone they are very pleasant! The restaurant always feel's safe to go into and because the restaurant has so many patron's that visit for food, there is always policemen there ordering food. Joey's is located right in the heart of the Morgan Park/Beverly area and they stay busy from open to close which mean's their food is delicious and always fresh to order! My family and I love their grilled chicken breast, gyro sandwiches and gyro plates, hot tamales with chili & cheese, pizza puffs and best crinkle cut fries with chili, onions & cheese! I love that fries come free with some of their food choices. The ambiance there is always peaceful and friendly. The staff are great at Joey's also. read more

Look, joeys is a staple! I moved to illinois from the east coast last year and we'll well well looky looky, joeys on western! And if you do the staff is always so great, it's run super efficient but with service at heart! Love Joeys! Muah! read more

First time visiting and was craving a gyros. It was fair. I ordered the gyro plate. They do give you plenty but it was dried out and somewhat flavorless. The meat was in small pieces like it was shoveled from a griddle and not shaved. Great fries and plenty of those too. One thing that really put me off was a 40 cent charge for using my debit card. I don't patronize businesses that do these cheap tactics to their customers so between that and the mediocre food, I can say I'll never go back. Too many other places in town to get a decent gyros. read more

First time here, and very shocked on these amazing prices. The gyro platter cost $7.99 and it's amazing how much food comes! 2 people can eat of one plate! The gyros were not super greasy and tasted amazing! I will have to come back and try other items but I have never seen a gyro platter this cheap, this tasty and this much amount of food in my life! I will deff keep coming back! Only thing I didn't like is that they put olives on it but you can't easily take them out. Amazing deal! read more

Walked in didn't Greet me. The two girls were just talking and I had to say hello first. Her body language acts like she don't want to be there. Got a Italian beef ppl Philly cheese steak. Which comes with mushrooms green peppers and cheese. I asked if I could have mushrooms in place of the cheese and green peppers. She said we don't do that it's like $1.50 more. That irritated me because they could've substituted what I didn't want for what I did. read more

Joeys started off good. But all good things must come to an end, I guess. The fries are like cardboard now. They precook their burgers and then "steam" them when ordered. Canned mushrooms have replaced fresh in all of their menu items. The last 2 salads I've ordered had an inch of water in the bottom. A salad spinner isn't that expensive, so there isnt any excuse for this. It's hard to mess up a chicago hot dog, which is the only plus to Joeys. The extra "fee" to pay with a card vs cash is beyond stupid. I was happy to see something inhabit the spot, but it fizzled and fast. I'll spend my hard earned $$ elsewhere, where I'll get a quality product. read more
