Burnt bun, hard puck of chicken. Tastes as gross as it looks.

Cannot believe that THIS is supposed to be a breaded chicken sandwich? A breaded triangle of processed chicken . Disgusting. Like a gas station chicken sandwich. Microwaved, hard and gross.

Kojak Drive-In is a small diner located off of 79th street in Burbank. There's a few tables set up on the inside and a long counter to order. While not particularly clean, it's not too messy on the inside. It's more or less a fairly typical older Chicago-style fast food eatery. In visiting Kojak's I decided to try the hot dog, though I had a serious temptation to try their Big baby cheeseburger. In any event I'll go over the hot dog. The hot dog I received came on a regular non-poppy seed bun. The pickle on the hot dog was thicker than I would like. There was only one slice of tomato covering roughly half the hot dog. There were no hot peppers on the dog. the application of mustard and relish was a bit heavy. The sausage itself was skinless but didn't taste very good, it either wasn't properly heated or wasn't a particularly good brand. I couldn't easily identify the vendor of the dog itself. There were also fries with this hot dog. They were fairly decent tasting though a bit greasy. On this particular trip of hot dog places I had a friend with me who felt whatever grease they cooked it in had a strange taste. I noticed an aftertaste from the fries but nothing that was an unpleasant flavor. Overall, this was a poor quality hot dog. The frank itself wasn't good tasting, it was assembled rather sloppily and just didn't taste good. The fries didn't do it any favor. If I weren't going to do hot dog reviews I would have tried the big baby. Maybe some day I will. But overall I'm going to give this one star and recommend avoiding the hot dogs.

For the quality of the food, it's highly over priced. If you're hungry, I guess it's edible. More like Nojacks

We walked back out and found the door to the restaurant. Staff is warm and friendly and we were seated quickly. Our server was Robert and he was great! He gave his recommendations for which sides would go best with our meals and I felt they were spot on. They give complimentary bread and butter. It was warm and delicious. Hubby ordered the rib tips with fries, baked beans, and had the hot and mild barbecue sauce on the side. I ordered the 1/2 dark smoked chicken dinner with mac-n-cheese, spicy Cajun green beans, and spicy honey garlic barbecue sauce. I agree with Robert, that the sauce pairs very well with the chicken. The tips were tender and falling off the bone. He didn't care for the fries and loved the baked beans, even though they were a bit too spicy for him. My chicken was also very tender and I enjoyed the smokiness. The green beans had the right amount of spice although they were not as spicy as the baked beans. The mac-n-cheese was creamy. We were too full to order dessert. Maybe next time. This is a great neighborhood staple and will definitely be back.

I was a guest at a bridal shower here, and I seriously could not get over how delicious and FRESH all the food was! The chilaquiles were AMAZING, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. A special shoutout to our bartender, Chayanne and another girl I cant remember her name, who were so friendly and welcoming! They made everyone feel right at home and was such a wonderful part of the celebration. The kitchen staff also deserves recognition. Even with a full event going on, they never seemed overwhelmed. I noticed them smiling at guests and sharing in our happiness throughout the celebration, which really made the experience feel extra special. From the food to the service to the overall atmosphere, Ash Gastro Pub exceeded every expectation! You can truly tell they care about their guests and the experience they provide. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend Ash Gastro Pub for your next event!

Fortunately, with our knowledge of nutrition, we were able to modify our meal selections to better align with our dietary goals. Unfortunately, the food itself was the greatest disappointment. Nearly every item was excessively salted to the point that it overwhelmed the natural flavors and ultimately detracted from the entire meal. Proper seasoning should enhance a dish, not dominate it. The service was a brighter aspect of our visit. Our server was friendly, personable, and made a genuine effort to ensure we received everything we requested. She provided attentive service and created a pleasant dining experience despite the shortcomings of the food. Overall, this visit reinforced an impression I formed years ago after dining at another TGI Fridays near Spokane, Washington. At the time, I hoped that experience was an isolated incident. After giving the brand another opportunity, I no longer believe that to be the case. While convenience brought us through the door, the quality of the food did not provide a compelling reason to return. Regrettably, this will be our final visit to TGI Fridays.

Egg Benedicts was good but the hash browns were hard and under cooked. I've always ordered hash browns from different restaurants and they usually come done and toasted/crunchy so I was in an understanding that they come like this by default from any establishment. Was a little disappointed. I was too hungry and too early in the day that I didn't complain or sent it back, and just ate it anyway. I tried some of the crepe and it was just okay. My friend mentioned the tbone steak was just alright and his hash browns were undercooked and he end up not eating it too. Overall this place was just alright.
