Burnt bun, hard puck of chicken. Tastes as gross as it looks.

Cannot believe that THIS is supposed to be a breaded chicken sandwich? A breaded triangle of processed chicken . Disgusting. Like a gas station chicken sandwich. Microwaved, hard and gross.

Kojak Drive-In is a small diner located off of 79th street in Burbank. There's a few tables set up on the inside and a long counter to order. While not particularly clean, it's not too messy on the inside. It's more or less a fairly typical older Chicago-style fast food eatery. In visiting Kojak's I decided to try the hot dog, though I had a serious temptation to try their Big baby cheeseburger. In any event I'll go over the hot dog. The hot dog I received came on a regular non-poppy seed bun. The pickle on the hot dog was thicker than I would like. There was only one slice of tomato covering roughly half the hot dog. There were no hot peppers on the dog. the application of mustard and relish was a bit heavy. The sausage itself was skinless but didn't taste very good, it either wasn't properly heated or wasn't a particularly good brand. I couldn't easily identify the vendor of the dog itself. There were also fries with this hot dog. They were fairly decent tasting though a bit greasy. On this particular trip of hot dog places I had a friend with me who felt whatever grease they cooked it in had a strange taste. I noticed an aftertaste from the fries but nothing that was an unpleasant flavor. Overall, this was a poor quality hot dog. The frank itself wasn't good tasting, it was assembled rather sloppily and just didn't taste good. The fries didn't do it any favor. If I weren't going to do hot dog reviews I would have tried the big baby. Maybe some day I will. But overall I'm going to give this one star and recommend avoiding the hot dogs.

For the quality of the food, it's highly over priced. If you're hungry, I guess it's edible. More like Nojacks

The Polish was succulent and had the "right" taste and I had it covered in grilled onions, sport peppers and mustard - Maxwell style. IKYYK. A beautiful combination. These fries appeared hand cut and stayed blazin' hot for the entire 15 minutes of my meal. I'm not sure what they put in them but I like it. Glad to finally get to ditch the pre-frozen crinkle cuts. Neighborhoods all over the city have little relics of yesterday and this one is no different. Two thumbs up. God bless the Yelp gods.

This place became a quiet refuge for me -- a small corner of comfort where everything feels lighter. It's the kind of place that slowly begins to feel like a second home, not only because of the atmosphere, but because the people here welcome you with a warmth that feels genuine, almost like family. And the food makes the experience even more memorable. The chicken breast burger and the french fries are easily some of my favorites -- simple, comforting, and incredibly delicious. A place like this is rare, and that's what makes it special.

Perfect menu, ridiculously large and well made deli sandwiches and a store full of Italian food staples and bakery items! Couple of minor downsides to be aware of - no indoor seating and somewhat limited outdoor / shaded area. Also, I had The Roc sandwich, wasn't cut all through and the crappy plastic knife broke while trying to slice. Great problem to have, the sandwiches are pretty large but pretty basic to give you a good cut. In fact, in reviewing my pics the cutting procedure took so much focus after unwrapping my sandwich, I quit taking pics! Haha All minor stuff, this is a great spot for lunch... highly recommend!

I ended up going there for dinner two different times during the week. I was here. It's not a fancy place, but I'm not a fancy person lol, they have several different options of items to order. The variety is incredible. This is Home with the big baby burger and if you've never tried one order it and thank me later, I had that one night and then last night I had the gyro platter. Oh my God, the portions are huge ended up, taking it back to the hotel and snacking on it later it comes with fries and there were so much food.
