My flight from MDW was cancelled so I had to spend an extra day at a nearby hotel. I used DoorDash to grab some lunch and knew I wanted to have Chicago dogs. I knew nothing about restaurants in the area and picked Mickey's because they had some really great deals going on. I was able to try a bunch of items and they were all delicious. I lucked out when ordering lunch thru DoorDash today. I can't speak to the atmosphere or service as I wasn't there in person. I love the history of this place too. Definitely will be back next time I fly out of MDW. read more

Horrible food! Worst I have ever had! First, I'm told the hot dog special is "beef-and-pork" dogs, and if I wanted all-beef dogs, it would be a little more -- The bill went from over $9 to $14!!! The hot dogs were mush -- A good Chicago dog should have a snap when you bite into it -- These were terrible!! And the "old fry trick" was used -- The top part of the bags had fresher fries, and the bottom had cold fries that were sitting around for a while. Just nasty food. I have not been here in over 5 years for these same reasons, thought I would give them another chance, and unfortunately nothing has changed. Remember, if somebody tells you they have been in business for 40 years, that means they have been pulling these same tricks on customers for those 40 years! There are great chicken shawarma restaurants in the area, for the same or less money go get yourself a delicious, freshly made sandwich that never disappoints -- You will not be as sorry as I was that I ate here! Terrible food! read more

Nice neighborhoodHot dog stand love the food, love. The servers love the people real friendly.Recommend you visit it

Grossly over charged for 2 hot dog specials, should be 6.99 each 1 fries 3.99 one onion rings5.49 the total was over 36 dollars and if I'm correct tax is 10 percent in my city! When I called I was told not their charges check with uber eats but their bill doesn't reflect this overage, how ever I authorized a 22.percent tip but not of this inflated bill! Uber won't acknowledge me and Mickeys won't acknowledge me! So I paid 60.00 for 4 hot dogs and one onion ring, I think the driver ate my fries!!! read more

the guys are the best the food is great,i go every week without fail love this place.

I forgot to take a picture of the rib tip dinner ($9.99) but it was fantastic! I only wished I got more than 6 pieces but they were amazingly tender and the sauce was good with a hint of sweet. The only drawback was that it's cash only and I had to take out money from the atm which I hate because I'm charged twice by the machine and then by my bank. read more

Was out and about the other day walking around Lake Katherine ... when we came out we had a taste for hot dogs and looked for dog places on YELP ... Mickey's seemed close, so that's how we got here. Now for the most part hot dogs are hot dogs, but some establishments are better than others - and this one was. Very nice hot dogs, just a little snap, and a great taste. All dogs come with fries, and the fries were very good ... not large with a crisp outside and meaty inside, and not small that are crisp in and out - but a nice compromise where the outside is crisp and the inside in nicely done. The fries alone were worth the trip. So our little group of three had three hot dogs (one with cheese) and two fries, all told with two drinks it came to less than $12. The menu is expansive, and has lots of other stuff like ribs, and burgers, and salads, and garlic butter fries, etc. Don't know about all that stuff and would be a bit hesitant. Someone once told me, you go to a hot dog place, you eat hot dogs - that is what they are known for. We would agree here. I'd come back here for hot dogs in a minute. If I want ribs, I will go to a rib place ... but when I want hotdogs, I'll come here - best dogs I've had in a long time. And the cheese on the cheese dog was perfect ... not flavored at all, but fresh and warm. Service was spot on, pandemic safety was just right as everyone had masks and kept six feet apart. The guy running the register was friendly and knew what he was doing. This place only has a few tables, so it is mostly cash and carry. They take only cash, no plastic. Recommended - give this place a try ... read more

Nice little place. Wife and I stop there once a week. Love the dogs and burgers. The Philly Cheesesteak could use a little work though. Always fresh hot fries. read more

There's a lot of options here so, bring the whole family, but bring CASH! They do have an on-site ATM, but I'm sure the fees are crazy. We had 2 chili cheese dogs with fries. It was all under $7 for the 2 of us. Great value! If you're on a budget, this is definitely a great option! Gyros and hot dogs and ribs, it's awesome! The shoestring fries were crisp and good. Idk what the cheese sauce is actually made of, but, again, the price point speaks for itself. Friendly staff, and we were served quickly. read more

Mickey's Hot Dogs - Cash Only! There is an ATM on site! - Hot Dogs Near Me - Worth, Illinois

I live across the street from Mickeys Hot Dogs, often make last minute calls for pick up... The food is always good, fresh and ready when they say it will be ready. I've had many things on their menu and I have no complaints. Everything is always as it should be. Very clean kitchen & eating area. read more

I don't even want to give one star I thought I would give this hotdog place a second chance after more than 20 years after receiving the lowest grade hot dog out there, even though they advertise Vienna beef. A complete waste of money. I wouldn't feed the hot dog to a dog. I would've thought that this business would have upgraded themselves to the public by this point and serve beef hotdogs as advertised, not fit for dogs. It's not happening, corners are cut in every way, only possible an animal or a fool would consume this garbage that's called a hotdog.. It's insulting. And then to top it off, the pickle looks as if it was taken out of the trash bag after it was eaten and added to the hotdog it's just a shame that this business has an not upgraded itself in 20 years. Trying to pass off the lowest grade hot dogs as Vienna beef is insulting to the public I'll starve to death before I ever walk in that place again literally wasted money. It's not a place to have lunch even if you're desperate, they try to cut corners every way they can, it's disgusting, what a shame. and that's 100%honest. read more

they are cash only, but don't let that deter you from this awesome food experience. If you're looking for something quick yet delicious, this is the place. they have the best gyros, rotisserie chicken, burgers, hot dogs(beef and combo), corn dogs, malts, shakes, or even occasional brownies. Of course they also have healthier options like different kinds of salads to choose from as well. They also accept call ahead orders if you're in a hurry or have a big order. Prices are reasonable and you can dine in if you'd like. Check this place out if you're in the area. read more

Stopped in to this place for a bite eat and I was not disappointed one bit. I got the Paul's Gyro plate w/extra meat and for the price, I was able to have two gyro's with enough meat and fries left over for 1 maybe 2 more gyro's. The food is great and you get your money's worth here. I will make sure to stop by here before I leave. I highly suggest coming by for a great food and great service. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. Thank you such a great meal. read more

Mickey's Hot Dogs - A whole lot of yummy... - Hot Dogs Near Me - Worth, Illinois

I thought all the Micky's would be all pretty much the same but I just found that some are better than others with this one being better! The thing that makes a difference in a Gyros is the meat naturally, but mostly the Tzatziki Sauce. I live closest to the one in Oak Forest that has a very basic tasting - you might as well just call it cucumber sauce! So I was kind of expecting the same but to my pleasant surprise it was SO good that I think it's now my second favorite place to go for Gyros. The guy behind the counter was really friendly and you can tell he really enjoys his job and likes talking to people and serving them! In the time it takes me to get thru the drive-thru at Oak Forest, I can travel here, eat and get back home before I would pay and get my food at the Oak Forest location and have a better meal too! This location should really be rated higher than it is!!! read more

Skinless hotdogs, the best. Great flavor and you can chew it without it being a struggle in your own mouth. I just had a Hotdog from Patio, Mickey's is 10X better. The SteakSandwich is delish. The Barbecue Chicken dinner is as good. maybe better than Patio's. You get FF, cole slaw 1/2 Chicken and Garlic Bread. Then there is the Big Mickeys...mmmmmmmmm. Can't stay away. read more

Frozen french fries. You have got to be kidding. So lame and hardly up to Chicago standards

Hamburgers, Angus burgers, Italian Beef, Fries, Greek Chicken, Ribs, Ice cream and so much more. Family owned and run. Neighborhood favorite. Did a great job all through Covid 19. Just a great place for fresh fast and hot food. read more

My friend has been telling me about this place for months now and I finally tried it today. SO GOOD! The pulled pork sandwich is EVERYTHING! I had munched on my friends delicious garlic fires so I opted for the coleslaw with it. Coleslaw is very rich and creamy, I ate a few bites and then put it on the pulled pork sandwich.... Yum! I love the atmosphere in here, it's small, old fashioned, extremely friendly and even have outdoor seating. I will be back here to try a fresh banana shake when I can afford the calories! read more

Went here for the first time and although the food was great the customer service was terrible. The Caucasian male at the register an older male about 40-50 years old was extremely rude . First with an undermining tone tells me we don't take credit cards when he saw it in my hand as if I was a regular customer that knew . Then I went to see if I had enough cash and returned. I asked if he had my order he said yeah but then got mad when I made sure and he didn't so he gave me more attitude when I asked nicely. My little sister goes in for a twist cone after and he in another rude tone says "we don't have chocolate!" Instead of letting her know what they do have. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or he was mad because I don't meet the towns demographic of race but the feeling I got from him was very unpleasant and unsettling . read more

Even thinking about this place reminds me of being eight years old and wanting an ice cream cone. I'm 25 years old now and I remember going here after school for ice cream or french fries. This was the only place I'd ever have gyro's when I was a kid (with bbq sauce for some strange reason). As a kid, I remember the employees and the knew me by name. In High School, I worked down the street from here and the employees would come to my store and remember me and say hi. The last time I was here was in 2004 or 2005 and it was just as good and the employees just as friendly and fun. I will have to stop in sometime soon for a gyro and maybe an ice cream cone! read more

I like Mickey's. I like their hot dogs (medium sized Vienna beef ones) they don't fall apart, their fries are soft, not hard like some other joint's/places and they have a large menu full of dozens of items, homemade brownies, etc. They have chicken (Greek chicken too) gyros, tamales, many side dishes/appetizers, garlic fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese dogs, chili dogs, ice cream, shakes, desert, beverages, etc. The place is clean, average noise level, reminds me of.Wojo's in Mt. Greenwood and the service is moderately fast, also friendly. Dine in and carry out, you can order ahead of time by calling your order in. They take cash only, no credit or debit, they do not deliver as far as I know. Also 3 hot dogs with fries are around $5, plus tax (maybe closer to $6) I very much enjoyed them. 4/5 stars, would definitely recommend. read more

I saw the sign - it said Vienna Jumbo All Beef Hot Dogs. That sad little pink tasteless thing on a stale bun was not even close. Maybe their burgers or gyros are good so I may be inclined to try Mickey's again. The fries were OUTSTANDING, freshly made, crispy with a little salt. I am willing to pay for a Vienna dog on a bun that has poppyseeds. Does anyone know of a good place in the sw burbs? read more

Very good place to grab a quick lunch, one of the last places who sells decent under 5dollar items. Food are cooked to order i personally like the crispy chicken sandwich and the Gyro's. My coworker and I each got a gyro plate with feta cheese and extra sauce and two drinks. It only came out to like $25 bucks and we both had lots of leftover. Glad we went there, I will be back. read more

Mickeys is always a great place to stop. Small little joint. My son always gets the beef hot dogs with fries and I get the the chicken wing(dings) and upgrade to fry to a garlic fry. THE BEST GYROS ON THE PLANET As I testified in my review for Greektown Gyros, there are three keys to good Gyros, and Mickey's nails all 3 1) Kronos brand meat 2) Real Tzatziki 3) Grilled pitas Their other items are tempting, but don't pass on the gyros. Worth the drive from the city. Tasty, zesty, great portions, suburban prices. The best. read more

I passed this place a few times and decided to stop and try it. Well I should have done what I've done before and drive right by this place. If you are hungry and have a taste for a burger than this place is not where you want to get a burger from. You will get more bun than burger! My suggestion is go to Burger King or portillos and get a better bigger burger. read more
