I must say I'm amazed that this place has such low reviews. Maybe people have experience at some of the other locations and are comparing. Personally, this is the only location I've been to for Cheeburger Cheeburger and it's haunted me ever since (in a good way)! They have a really cool ordering system by touch screen where you just go up and put exactly what you want. I think I put feta cheese on mine (not an option at too many other burger joints). Anyway, I'm not lying when I say that it is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. How pathetic is it that the best food I had in NY was in the airport on the way home? Oh well. It's been like an entire year since I've eaten here and I've been searching diligently for a location near me ever since, but sadly the nearest is too far- San Diego :[ Until a closer one is built, I will keep telling stories of the awesomeness that Cheeburger Cheeburger is. read more

Worst Flavorless meat I ever tasted. I've had Tofu with more flavor. Ordered the mid-sized burger with Cheese and fries almost $14.00. Waited 10 minutes for my order then walked to my gate. Sat down to eat it ant the hamburger and fries were Luke warm. It was a 1/2 pound of meat that was dry and well done. Never did the meat ever see basic seasoning such as Salt and Pepper. AVOID THIS FLAVORLESS DUMP !!! read more

Worst burger I've ever had. This terminal at JFK for jet blue sucks. Nothing I would eat here anymore. Went from wanting shake shack to never wanting a burger again. I swear the burgers are microwaved back there. They put the burger together where u can't see them. U can't smell meat cooking, or anything frying. Onion rings were stale. Fries soggy. And to top it off all the soda options were flat. Probably will never fly jet blue into jfk and most definitely will never eat at that pitiful food court again. read more

I am not a religious man at all and never feel the need to have a spiritual scratch to take care of my existential black hole of on itch. It may sound disingenuous to say that I know how people feel when they are filled with the Holy Spirit or whatever version people dream up that is just as convoluted when you REALLY think about it (something I figured out in...cough, cough, 3rd friggin' grade) but when I, in a zombie-like fashion, drag my way from the back of the airplane (traveling with two young children) to the terminal and see the beacon "Cheeburger Cheeburger" I may feel just a little bit (un po') of what my religious friends feel when they are uplifted spiritually. And Cheeburger Cheeburger (which is a chain burger joint based out of Florida that owes its name to that famous SNL skit based off Chicago's Billy Goat Tavern (you know, "cheeburger, cheeburger...no Coke! Pepsi! No Fries, Chips!)) is no false burger god. This burger delivered big time. In the name of efficiency (I guess) I ordered the burger from not a "cheeburger cheeburger" shouting server but from a kiosk. Thankfully I was ahead of one of my sisters and ordered for me and the kids and then showed her how to hit the buttons to order the meal (maybe we would have missed out next flight if she had been the first to order, who knows). I said "BurgerMeNow" into the computer but didn't even get a "does. not. compute." let alone any sass-mouth. I quickly got over the ordering procedure when I took a bite of this burger. When I unwrapped the faux foil burger apron everything went dead quiet...I couldn't hear the kids ask for only the 73rd time when we would be home, I couldn't hear the cacophony accents of travelers surrounding me, I couldn't even hear the sound I imagine would correspond to the smell of the said travelers, some of whom, no doubt, have been traveling for 15 or so hours...This is how an MLB pitcher must "not hear" when he is about to throw a no-no...The crowd is not just aurally distant but not even in the equation. Once the condiments were spread on the cheeburger it was go time. This burger was heavenly...It was perfectly cooked (but NOT by a computer as I witnessed people (at least) moving around in the back of the ordering board) and mouthwateringly mouthwatering. Random: the word mouthwateringly looks like Don Mattingly to me...I love Donny Baseball...one of my faves growing up..."Shave off those sideburns Mattingly", said Mr. Burns...At any rate this burger is was a BurgerMeNow burger and death row burger for sure! If you happen to be caught between the moon and New York City in the Jet Blue Terminal at JFK, go right to Cheeburger Cheeburger! read more

Aweful. Burger was ready 20sec after ordering. It's basically boiled meat. Yes it was "juicy" because it tasted like boiled meat. No crust at all on the meat. Tease me and at least throw it on a griddle for 10sec to pretend like it's a burger. This chain wins awards for its burgers? I assume the ones voting are hogs since they'll eat anything. read more

Oh man I forgot how bad this place was and went there again today. Please avoid, anything in the food court is probably better than this place. Food is consistently cold, (like cold cold), they are unbelievably slow, and the burgers are typically sloppily assembled and a mess. This is one of those cases where even a McDonald's would be a huge improvement. I just got off a 7 hour flight after two weeks in Morocco and really had a craving for a good cheese burger. The remaining 2/3s went in the trash. read more

TRUST THE REVIEWS. Do not eat here. Dry is the exact word to describe these burgers. You can't even see them make the food but let me tell you how this goes - Order on a greasy iPad -Burgers are cooked in bulk and sit in a pan under a light all day. - Your order is fulfilled by taking a bun, putting a lukewarm burger on it, putting a cold piece of cheese on it, and putting the rest of your toppings on it. - Added bacon to that burger? It's not hot. Added 2 onion rings to the burger? They're soggy. - It takes about 45 seconds for them to make your burger. AVOID AVOID AVOID. read more

Burger not even warm. Fries weren't warm either. $14 for a meal. Disappointing like most airport restaurants.

Wow... this is by far the most disgusting burger I have ever had in my life. The bun was stale, the meat was cold, the cheese was hard and the bacon was slimy on some parts and harder than a rock in others! I paid $11 for this burger and feel ripped off. Im about to board a flight and half wish I didnt eat it so that I can enjoy my complimentary peanuts! This place should shut down and never serve food again! If food poisoning comes from this ill fb live it and send it to corporate! read more

WARNING - do not go here. This is the worst burger experience I have ever encountered. I'm usually pretty easy going but the food was gross and the burgers were cold. The employees slopped around the place like they were zombified. I had to actually take the burgers back because they were actually cold. They literally came out of a fridge and had been cooked at a different time. I am afraid to even know what I just put in my body. The meat was gray and all dried out. read more

Cheeburger at JFK is absolutely fine for a fast food burger. It's cooked thoroughly, the bread is soft, and you have the basic condiments available to make it a flavorful burger. Seriously, its absolutely fine if you want a decent burger so I wouldn't let the reviews scare you. read more

It seems counterintuitive, but you'd be better off at the salad bar. Think about what that means for a minute... you'd be better off eating from the open air salad bar located in one of the busiest airports in the world. The amount of hands that must touch that food makes my skin crawl and still, you'd be better off there than going to Cheeburger Cheeburger. We ate Cheeburger Cheeburger and ... well "ate" is actually too strong a word. We allowed what few parts of the burger, fries, and chicken tenders that seemed edible to navigate our digestive tracts, despite our better judgement. It was desperation, you see. Obviously every company past security at the JetBlue terminal is run by the same shitty OTG Management group. The poor employees have never set foot in a kitchen, and were inundated with dissatisfied customers. Burger itself was rock hard and cold. Tenders were over fried, but still somehow, against all scientific odds, soggy. Fries tasted days old. It was impressive and boarder line offensive how bad this meal was, especially once you remember how much you have to pay for it. Avoid it at all costs. read more

Cheeburger Cheeburger - The burned yet still soggy chicken tenders, a modern scientific marvel. ... Terrible. - Burgers Near Me - Jamaica, New York

This place was dope, I took a gnarly edible w one of my boys and we both had precheck so it was tight but then I was in a different terminal so I showed up to Cheeburger Cheeburger (the restaurant so nice they just gave up and named it twice) haha forreal tho Cheeburger is a hilarious name tho. Food was nice. Salt and pepper at each table. No chairs. read more

Do not eat here... absolute chaos from ordering to paying... food cold when I eventually sat down to eat it... Drink machines had no ice and 1 needed to be refilled 2 managers just standing there talking instead of helping out.... read more

This is a sorry excuse for an establishment. The burgers look and taste really old, and are poorly put together. Even for an airport fast food joint, this place sets a new low. read more

I think I used to get better burgers at school lunch. The burger was cold so probably just sitting out. They put shredded cheese on it and lettuce. Don't bother with this place the sandwiches place is much better. I have never just thrown a burger away like that but this was just disgusting. read more

The operation here is horrific. Understaffed, inefficient, and painfully slow. The staff was nice, though.

Frankly, this is disgusting. Waited in line for a while to order and then even longer to get my food. Was rewarded with extremely soggy, greasy onion rings and limp, literally wet frites. My turkey burger was OK but nothing spectacular. The limp, greasy onions and potatoes are what really miffed me, since when it comes to burgers I tend to think it's all about the sides... read more

Very disappointing cheese burger and fries... cold ...COLD... took it back after a few bites and was told that the lettuce and tomato make the burger cold. I told the young lady the closer I got to the middle the colder it was getting... she acted as if there was nothing she could do. I was given another burger that was warmer but not HOT ... like it just came off the grill read more

Extremely bad burger at airport prices! Fries and onion rings very soggy and greasy. It was very obvious that the burger was reheated or microwaved....cheese not melted and stale bread. Avoid. read more

Nastiest burger I had. It was probably left over and microwaved. Bread was also very stale.

I'm almost positive that if instead of eating this burger and fries, I just crumpled up the $16.78 and swallowed it, I would have enjoyed it more. Awful. read more

Cheeburger Cheeburger - Burgers Near Me - Jamaica, New York

So bad! Worse than I could have imagined. Dry, cold burger of dubious origin -- overdone yet with weird pink areas. Want cheese? A waxy flavorless imitation. This was a dining trifecta of expensive, bad tasting and poor service (kiosk ordering without speed or accuracy). Just DON'T. Move on and buy a bag of nuts or something. read more

Pathetic excuse for food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We needed to grab some food to take with us on the plane in JFK, this place was one of the only options for to-go food so we got it. Hardly an excuse for a cheeseburger, and they weren't even cooked!! I literally spit out the first bite and threw it all away and went hungry. I literally chose airplane food over this!! Don't waste your money!!! read more

total rip off! I paid $6.99 for just a plain hamburger with cheese (no lettuce or tomato). Also the automated system is completely unnecessary. read more

Disgusting!! Dont waste your money. Veggie burger was burnt and void of any flavor. Onion rings were onion soggy mush! And the fries were visibly full of grease and room temp. Total waste of money!!! Shame on you to serve this garbage. read more

The whole operation is a disaster, including the operation supporting the food court. Soda machines don't work right, food was not fixed right, my oder was wrong, it's not that hard folks! Regular burger combo, nothing crazy and it's was $14.70 worth of marginal food, done wrong. Step it up! read more

The food is awesome for an airport(and decent for otherwise) but the service is pretty miserable. This is typically my go to place when flying via JetBlue(~1 time a month) and everytime the service lowers itself another bar. I am writing this from Terminal 5 while waiting for my flight. My burger today, delicious. But it took all 4 of the idiots working there to check, and re check the ticket before realizing that the order was just for a burger with none of the terrible sides they offer. I will go there every time I am here, but fuck, get some new help. read more

I'm not a picky eater at all and will eat just about anything but this food was borderline inedible. I went to one of their regular locations in Long Island a while back and don't remember the food being bad, but the food I got at this one was awful. One of the driest and most flavorless burgers I've ever had. I paid extra for mushrooms and they were rock solid...I couldn't even bite into them and had to take them off. The burger and fries were room temp, and the fries were very soggy and tasted like they'd been sitting around all day. This is actually the first time I've had food so terrible I've been compelled to write a negative yelp review, so that's saying something. read more

A joke. Stay away unless you're happy with a dull lump of protein between two squishy, bland pieces of bread that you will pay $8 for. They clearly stopped trying once they'd scored this primo piece of airport real estate. The place is cynical. read more

While there are many high quality options for dining in Terminal 5 (http://www.yelp.com/biz/terminal-5-at-jfk-jamaica), I decided to get a Grilled Chicken Sandwich for my flight (the Terra Blues onboard won't fill me up enough) from here as based on other experiences at Cheeburger Cheeburger here and at other Cheeburgers, I find that this is a tried and true option for me due to the very good food and decent pricing. When I flew out about a week ago in the morning, I arrived at the counter at about 8:30AM. I was greeted by two friendly ladies, who were happy to help me in the clean kitchen. I first used the kiosk to place my order for a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with most of the vegetable toppings and mustard. Unfortunately, there was no option for ordering the sandwich without a bun, but by using the order number from my receipt, the two ladies taking care of my order were able to take my request for no bun, which worked out perfectly. About ten minutes later, my sandwich was prepared and when I had it on my flight to Orlando a little later, I found the sandwich to be very good, as the grilled chicken breast was moist, juicy, and well seasoned and the vegetable toppings were all fresh and crisp, adding a lighter element to the sandwich. While the $9.25 price for the sandwich seems high, it was not that bad considering I was in the airport and the quality and relatively generous portion size justified the price. While I did not try these items on this visit, I can say that based on other visits to Cheeburger, I would recommend the crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside hand-cut fries and/or the thick and creamy milkshakes. I should also note that compared to a standalone Cheeburger Cheeburger, the menu is a little more limited. In addition, you pay at the end of the food court area in one spot, so you should be prepared for that. While there are many very good to excellent choices in Terminal 5, Cheeburger Cheeburger is a solid choice if you have a hankering for burgers and the like! read more

this place is located in the airport it is absolutely disgusting overly priced dirty and waste of time and money I had to fight the flight of this disgusting rock of a burger that they charge me almost $20 for I will never spend a dime in this place at again or at any other location with this name shut it down before you kill somebody with your food read more

Lackluster burger, cold and barely had and taste for $15! The fries were alright but unless you like more bread than burger I wouldn't recommend it. Cold potato bread bun that tastes like cardboard the ingredients were pretty good but like I said the meat was small. I made myself eat it bc I spent so much. read more

So disappointed!!! Ate here yesterday while waiting for our flight to Reno. We ordered 1 semi serious burger and 1 regular burger, an order of onion rings and a sprite. It only took about 5 mins for our order to be ready. When we picked it up, we were told (by a girl that clearly hated her job) that they were out of onion rings and gave us COLD fries instead (no offer for a refund) at this point we were tired and hungry and just took them. When we opened them, we had two dry cold burgers that looked like they had been sitting for a while. Never, and i mean NEVER had we had such a tasteless cold blah burger. We both took a few bites, wrapped them up and went and got a slice of pizza. The line for returning our food was so long and honestly we didn't have the time to grab something else AND return our food for a refund. I would tell anyone traveling through JFK, don't waste your time OR money at this place. read more

This is a typical piece of card board. Very expensive. Don't waste your money! When they charge so much money for such a piece of crap?

Worst burger I've had in the whole of the USA and I really mean it. Flat soda, dry burger, wasted $15.

Just NO. Slow slow service. Cold bun cold burger and over cooked. The mushrooms were no edible as they were burnt and chewy. Just avoid.

Absolutely the most disgusting burger I've had in years! Just awful, overlooked and lacking in taste.

Ate there for lunch, . A grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese . The chicken was cold and dry . I was expecting the cheese to be melted , very disappointing! The onion rings were extremely greasy . The only descent thing was the French fries. I only took two bites of my sandwich and decided just to throw everything away. read more
