Very poor experience eating at the bar on a not-busy Friday evening. Service was slow and unfriendly; at one point, dark-haired bartender dropped an f-bomb in conversation with couple sitting next to me (who were similarly displeased with their experience). Only some ordered food items ever showed up; no apology offered nor any attempt to compensate for the oversight. Very average food; steak ordered medium, somehow came out well done around the edges and medium rare in the middle. That's a nice trick. Hard to imagine I'll be back any time soon. read more

Tried this location again after several months. Results not any better. Chicken tenders were anything but tender. Cole slaw was very very bland. Ordered tenders and shrimp - the shrimp was left off. Finally came at the end of the meal. This location has never been consistent on service and food prep. read more

I am appalled. Not by Cheddars, but by the attitude here in my home town. I have eaten cheddars, and I had a lovely waitress. She was obviously flustered because the food was taking a while, and I overheard another table being extremely rude to her. Such foul language coming from that female customer. (Female but definitely not a lady) I have served in my time here on earth, so I know that she is not responsible, but this other table was being so hateful. It is a disgrace. Yukon, there is no need to treat these kids like this. I understand that your paying for this experience so you expect perfection, but they are people too and they deserve to be treated as such. I also read reviews on here and am upset with how brutal you can be. No matter what, treat your sever with respect because they are human just like us. I have some advice for you Yukon. We've given the restaurant several visits before rating, with it being newer to town. Overall they have consistent and great food, just as you would expect from any other Cheddar's. The portions are usually very large compared to a smaller price tag. The meatloaf is juicy and flavorful, the country fried steak is great (always ask for extra gravy!), the veggies are steamed perfectly, and so much more. The wait staff has always been great. Very attentive, personable, and on point. The only reason I give four stars is for the initial greetings. We've never had a sincere greeting from a host/hostess. It's unfortunate because that usually sets the tone for your visit and is also your last impression. More personality is needed at the front door to make this a 5 star review. We will still go back because the food and overall service is great. read more

So I was wanting meatloaf today. So I went to cheddars. My meatloaf was extremely dry overcooked and had a hard crust on the outside of it. This is not how meatloaf should taste. I was extremely disappointed. Now with that said I went there last Saturday with my husband and I had the spicy cajun pasta loved it it was so good. My husband had the chicken fried steak dinner he was very disappointed in it. It was mostly breading hardly any state that he could fine. So I don't know exactly how I should be rating this. Two bad plates one good one. Needless to say I probably will not be going back. There are too many restaurants out here that are far better. read more

Went in on a slow night. We waited about 10-15 minutes before the waiter acknowledged us, saying he would be right back to get our drink order. 10 minutes later he showed back up, we asked for some waters, which took him another 10 or so minutes to bring. We then waited and waited for our food. The appetizers, my salad, and the entrees all came out at the exact same time, which is annoying. One of the entrees was wrong. My wife ordered the Salmon and it was completely raw in the center. The Manager stopped by the table after we returned the dish and apologized saying it would be remade and would take about 8 minutes. My chicken and shrimp tasted really good but was room temperature. The steamed broccoli was cooked and seasoned perfect. My biggest problem is that our receipt showed that the Salmon was comped but was then added back on to the bottom of the receipt. Called in a to go order at 9:20. Called back a minute later to add a side salad and Was told they stopped taking to go orders at 9:30 bc they close at ten. Thought to myself it's not even 9:30 but okay. Since I already placed my to go he allowed it me to add the salad. Once I got there I was told to get my to go order from the bar. Half of the bar and the tables were dirty, yet the place was empty. The servers and the bartender were all sitting down eating. It was very unprofessional and even the manager was just standing and talking to them while they all ate. I was told it would be about 15 min and I arrived on time so they wouldn't have to wait on me since they were closing in 25 min at this point. Well I ended up waiting about 20 min for my food once I did arrive. The bartender of course blamed it on the kitchen and said that the kitchen is slow. He was very unfriendly and was probably surprised I left him a$5 tip, which I only did bc I am in the service industry and it's kinda funny when people r rude and lazy bc they aren't expecting a tip. Anyways, i love cheddars food and it's sad that the service is so bad because this place has great potential, esp in Yukon. They either need to hire new managers who can better manage their staff or better train those who are there now. read more

Every time we go here the service is awful! Went tonight and sat at the bar for 10 minutes and never saw a bar tender and no one even said anything to us. Hostess was nice but we left after not getting any service. An employee that came behind the bar on the phone and never acknowledged us. We went to longhorn instead. Well we tried this out tonight because of reviews. It was at best 2 star. The food was okay. But room temperature. Our food came out before appetizers but the manager came over apologized and comped them. Till we got the bill they were on it but our waitress fixed it. No complaints about staff. Where to even start? Went to try out the new Cheddar's here in Yukon. Waited approximately 30mins for a seat. For a Thursday evening at 6:00 this was to be expected. Once we were seated we ordered the cheese fries and spinach dip for appetizers. After waiting 40mins and watching everyone who sat down after us get their appetizers I was pretty aggravated. When they showed up the fries were good but we were shocked to find a pubic hair in our spinach dip. I immediately grabbed the manager to complain and her response was "Sorry, I'll take it off and tell my kitchen staff to wear their hairnets." Well honey, unless you have them wear it on their crotches it won't help. We then waited another 30mins after that to get our meal. The manager returned and asked how the food tasted but offered nothing more. I was frustrated beyond words when we got the check and not only was there zero comps but the spinach dip was still on the tab. I use to be a waiter and when a customer got screwed over, I made it right. A free drink, free desert, comp'd meal or the whole table. We got NOTHING. Will NOT be back here. Save your hard earned money folks, you deserve better. read more

I'm giving this place a 2 Star only because I feel like they really still need to learn and Practice on some stuff . I understand they are brand new here for Yukon . Maybe next time in the future when I go back I'll update on this review and hopefully give them a better rating . But I went last night during dinner time , we were told it was going to be 20-25 min wait but it was much longer than that for just me , my husband and my one year old . We were sat in the bar area and our server came , I forgot his name . But we started out with the chips and queso and the first bite of chips , I am pretty sure they didn't fry that all the way! It was chewy . Not even crispy at all . At first I thought it was stale but it can't be . I asked our sever if I could get a new batch of chips , he brought it out and it was the same . So we ended up not finishing our appetizers . Then we ordered our entrees . I had the crispy chicken and shrimp husband got the new glazed pork chop which he liked , mine came out and it was okay . I had this dish before in Norman and it was better there . I finished my glass of water and our server kept coming and removed dishes out of our way but didn't bother checking my glass that I had to drink my husband glass and my daughter water as well . He came back and peak and still didn't offer me any water , I gave up on asking because I know I shouldn't really have too . He came back again and I just asked for a to go box still no water in all 3 glass . He came gave me my check and still didn't asked . He was nice because I did say thank you and he kept saying " my pleasure " I just think that I should have givin them more time and waited a little longer before eating there . Do NOT waste your time, money, or calories. The waiter forgot to put our order in (party of two) and lied about it, saying the kitchen was backed up. We know this wasn't true because the party of five that was seated after us got their food about 30min before we did. We finally got our food about 60 min after being seated. Everything about our order was wrong. The food was also cold. There were also bits of cheese misplaced in my plate - cheese didn't come with my dairy free meal. The manager was standing at the register behind our table complaining to several of her employees, so we didn't even bother to talk to her about our poor experience. We frequent the MWC location often and decided to try this one out. If I hadn't known Cheddar's quality, I probably wouldn't be back. I had to send back my whitefish because it was undercooked. The lemon-pepper seasoning was in a tiny spot on top, not at all like it is normally served. And the macaroni was terrible, nobody at our table wanted it. It took a while to get our food, which wasn't that big of a deal, but then when the server brought our food out, she dropped my son's sandwich so we had to wait for another one. However, our server was good and my husband's food turned out great, so I went with a 3. But do yourself a favor, and go to MWC or Norman instead. read more

Cheddar's is absolutely fantastic! Long wait time at the door, but a younger lady introduced herself as the bar manager while handing out samples of chicken tenders and let us know the wait would be well worth it. Boy, was she right! The food was amazing! Best onion rings I've ever had, and my steak was better than what I would get at steakhouse for 3x the price! Server was a little odd, and has never served before, clearly, but he was nice and did everything we asked of him. We will return. Many times. read more

My Mom and I have eaten here twice. And while they do have some kinks, the food has been very good. I had some trouble with my pork chop being way, way over cooked and the manager worked so hard to get me one that was cooked perfectly. It was worth the wait and I really appreciate the effort he took and our waitress as well. It is nice to know that places will still go to this much effort to please a customer! He was with other diners on our way out so I didn't get to thank him. It's definitely one of my new favorites! My wife and I went at about 8 pm to try it. We had been driving by it for two weeks now and it seemed interesting. We were sat at about 8:10. At about 8:20 we were given water and had our order taken. About 8:40, people are sat next to our table and our drinks arrived. About 9:05 the table next to us gets their food. At 9:30 walked out, our food never came, had to leave a buck on the table for the cokes, since the server never stopped by our table again. 10 pm Taco Bell, what a date night. read more

Starts off with a 30 min wait, though not unheard of it was unnecessary as there were many tables that just weren't bussed. We were then skipped over many times until we caught someone's attention who then seated us at a table rather than a booth. We left before ever seeing a waiter/waitress. This was my first time at Cheddars in Yukon. The front hostess acted like we were bothering her to have to talk to us, but did seat us right away. The girl that showed us to our table also acted aggravated to have to do her job. Not a great start. Once seated our waitress came out rather quickly and got our drinks to us fast. We went to Cheddars on there opening night and besides the 30 to 40 minute wait it was really good. We attempted to go back a week later and were told it would be an hour to hour and a half wait to be seated. I'm 56 years old and have never had to wait this long. Been here several times and service is mostly good, but today was an exception. Arrived around 1:45 pm and decided to sit at the bar as there was a wait for a regular table. Single bartender who was very busy, but she had time to flirt with a guest at the end of the bar. Appetizer arrived quickly and our food shortly thereafter. Why don't they give you time to enjoy your appetizer first, we had just started on it before the main course arrived. Speaking of the main course, it sat at the end of the bar for about 5 minutes before she brought it over to us. Seems like several other waiters were hovering over our plates. Sitting at the bar, there are three large t.v. screens all showing basketball (ladies college game, men's college, and a professional game). We've been here 3 times. 1st was fine and food was good when they first opened, seemed like a cool bar. 2nd time there was a problem with our food, a mix up, and when you're waiting a very long time on croissants don't expect your actual meal to be out on time let alone having to wait for it "on the fly". Now speaking of fly... we were gonna go one more time because it wasn't a huge issue and crap happens right? But dude...we came in and were sat quickly and our server was cool (I forgot her name but she was nice!) and I ordered a side salad which me and my son shared and 3¼ of the way through there was a bug. It wasn't a fly, it definitely had wings, big gross looking long legged nasty thing flipped upside down in my salad. I can't help it I just immediately think "holy crap how many of those did I just eat?" Odds are it was the only one...I hope and pray. I let my husband deal with it and took our son to the car but the manager exchange went something like this "we double wash our produce!" (Then TRIPLE wash it dude, nobody slipped a gross forking bug in that salad to get a free meal we didn't even stay for! Haha!) "I'll have to talk to our produce guy - we'll comp your meal - the rest of the food didn't come from that produce company...blar blah blar blabby" My husband just came out shaking his head and laughing a bit about the conversation and we went home. And again, I GET IT, Crap happens! But seriously, it's really all about how you handle situations. No bueno. 2 stars only because the server was cool. read more

Where do I start? Went to Cheddars in Yukon on 7/29/18, was told a 45 minute wait. Wasn't until I notice parties being seated that came in after we did that something was wrong, they lost my number. Got seated after an hour wait and then waited another 10 minutes before I got the attention of a waiter and we were able to order. Order came, one was right the other was not. Finally got the second order, both were Key West Chicken and Shrimp. Both the chicken and shrimp were suppose to be grilled, neither were. No grill marks and did not taste like they were within ten foot of a grill, both appeared to be microwaved. The baked potato was not completely cooked nor was it hot. Very disappointed and will never go back. This Cheddars does not even compare to the one in Norman. Norman Cheddars is one of my favorite places to eat, kudo's to the Norman Managers. A word of advice for the Managers at Yukon Cheddars, send your cooks, waiters and the rest of your staff to Norman to be trained! read more
