This is our typical goto birthday place. The boys are older so had to go about 40 before closing. It was clear they were ready to close. So many little mistakes that normally don't happen. Overall a great place but go during way before closing.

Just go for the house-made freshly baked croissants they serve you for free if nothing else, JK! Truth: they melt in your mouth and the butter is warm, runny and delicious. False: you should still order food or even more croissants! I absolutely love their whitefish dish! You get two large filets and two sides and very reasonable cost of $14.99. The salmon is also good for about a dollar more. 10/10 recommend their broccoli casserole as a side. Everything is made from scratch, excellent and hearty portions, and friendly service!

A great place for lunch. They served us a complimentary sweet roll which was a nice touch but I didn't eat (I'm not a big sweets person). The vegetarian Philly sandwich was very tasty. There are a lot of veggie items to choose from on the menu. Service was fast and friendly. Portions are very generous. Clean bathrooms and a pleasant atmosphere.

2nd chance to see if they stepped up their game, Due to their lack of hitting the mark last time. We were sat right away and the ambiance was not busy at all in fact I have photos of the staff hanging out conversing. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before the server came to greet us. We gave him our drink order and our appetizers. The drinks came fairly quick. Apps came in at a decent pace. The croissants came out midway through Apps and it was cold.. wonder what took so long???? It took about an additional 15 to 20 minutes for our meals to arrive, but they were tasty. So all in all what needs to be adjusted is someone needs to have a better control of their staff? We're just sitting around and could be doing things that are more productive. I do however have to say once our Server Jeremy came he was attentive throughout our dinning. Previous review dated 6/2/25 Always a super looooong wait. But the food was tasty and our server was ok. It did take for him to hear me talk to hubby asking what's taking onions rings so long. They came out and were cold. He didn't check on us until we were almost done with the cold onions rings. Then the main meal took like another 20 minutes .., it's cheddars so we expect a long wait but shouldn't be because the dishes are sitting waiting to be taken to the tables. Means the table delivery people are slacking or understaffed

I came for lunch on a Monday with my mom and grandma to this Cheddars. We were seated right away and our waitress was very kind and attentive. The booths we sat in were very comfortable! We had a mixed bag when it came to the food. Our croissants were served cold and overcooked. I ordered the half rack of ribs and they were dry and overcooked. However, the queso and homemade chips were delicious as well the broccoli casserole! My grandma said the salad was just okay. At the end of our meal we used two gift cards to pay for our food and our server told us they covered the full amount and were all used up. I asked her how they could be used up if the amount was $43 and we had a giftcard total of $45? She went to the back and gave us the giftcard that still had $1.71 left on it. I think even if it's a small amount of money that it should be given back to the customer for them to decide what they want to do with it.

The food is almost always amazing. I love the complimentary croissants at the beginning. They're always warm and tasty. This time I got the steak and shrimp. They accommodated my request to have it butterflied so it cooks more evenly. The scenery is nice as well. The brick and plants gives it a nice touch of welcoming and also kind of homey in the best way.

We went to cheddars for a Friday night dinner to celebrate a special occasion. It was clean and a mix of rustic and modern decor. Although it was busy the service was great and friendly. The drinks were a great price, delicious (and strong)! We ordered sirloin steak MR and chicken tenders with ribs. We really liked the honey lime tender sauce. And at the end, we were surprised how little we spent in comparison to some other options out there. I try to support local when I can, but this was a great experience. Highly recommend the Texas sweet tea!

I was excited to go to Cheddars with some friends over the weekend. The server was very kind, the interior design was gorgeous, the atmosphere was so calm and good for a larger party. I got the White fish and veggies, while my friends did a variation of the tender meal. For the most part I enjoyed my food, but did think the carrots were overly sweet. Also, one my friends tender & fries dinner was brought out cold. Lastly, the service was slow and that was odd because the place wasn't packed. Overall, I still enjoyed it. I would be open to trying a different location and even returning to this one because of the kind service and decent food experience.

I ordered Grilled Shrimp Alfredo, shrimp are well seasoned and it was a good portion. Sweet carrots for my side were tender and lightly sweet which is good. Homemade onion rings are crispy and big size and portions it was good for everyone. Honey croissants was delicious, soft we order one more. Bourbon salmon was perfectly cooked and it was delicious well seasoned. My partner loved it!!! Our server was Nico, he accommodate all the things we need. Great service! The place was clean, not too loud and the decorations were nice.

Weird. Place was dirty, the food was stale. Bathroom locks don't work. The waiter was very nice tho, felt bad for him. Overall won't come again because of food not service.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I had a great experience. The host greeted my friends and me with a smile and seated us quickly. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the food was delicious. I ordered the bourbon salmon with shrimp along with a sweet tea, and everything was perfect. The restaurant itself was clean and had a calm, welcoming atmosphere.

Is this Monte Cristo similar to the one served at Blue Bayou in Disneyland in California? How does it compare?

It's been a very long time since I was at the blue Bayou in Disneyland. I don't think anything would compare to that. It is quite delicious though.

We thought it was a perfect meal to share between two because each person gets a piece of fried chicken and a doughnut. The chicken is extra greasy and topped with powdered sugar. It was very good but it still does not rate as highly as Publix or KFC for me. The doughnut was great. I would compare it to a fresh glazed from Krispy Kreme. Service was excellent. We were seated immediately, and greeted at our table by a friendly and efficient server. Overall, everything went well. The prices are high but this is expected due to the location. I would definitely return to try more of the menu.

I've been wondering for a while where to get some good stick to your ribs so food, so when my wife told us that Nikki's Place reached out to her to come try some authentic soul food, I had to join her. We had to make sure to get an array of different things to try as much as possible. So we ordered.. smothered pork chops, fried catfish and shrimp, lemon butter chicken wings, red rice, Collard greens, Lima beans, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, mac and cheese, and some onion fries.. with some sweet tea. I want to tell you, every bite I took had me closing my eyes and smiling. My only complaint was the lima beans were a little bit salty, but when I ate it with everything else it didn't really matter. The lemon butter fried chicken wings were absolutely amazing. I have not tasted anything like that in my life. You can't go there and not get them. You need these wings. I'd also like to say that all the sides are meat-free , so vegetarians come get some . We ate till we were full, and we had enough to take home as well. My son got the fruit punch mixed with lemonade. I like to get half sweet and half unsweetened tea. We commenced to ordering. I got the lemon butter wing dinner again with the side of candied yams, yellow rice, and greens. The rest of the table got fried chicken, catfish and shrimp, ribs, and bbq chicken.. We all got a side of cornbread with our meal. We devoured. We got our fingers and mouths all sauced up and messy. We feasted. Everyone loved their meal and I felt like a hero for suggesting this fine, homey establishment. We decided that we couldn't fit dessert but greediness prevailed and we got desserts to go. Red velvet cake, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and lemon pound cake. The bread pudding is one of my faves. The banana pudding was nothing to write home about. Could have used some fresh bananas cut up in there. Last but not least, I have to mention our beautiful server, Audrey. She handled our table with a winning combination of love and skill. She has a lovely smiling face and her warmth shone through and made our dining experience that much better. I'll be back and will continue to introduce folks to this tiny treasure of a place.

Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy.
