Chips and queso dip, yummy! The other one is our plates the one with the salad is mine.

This was our second time going here giving it a second chance from the not good last visit. The food was good a hot this time, we both got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes n gravy and then I got the side salad also. The steaks were a good size with a fairly light breading but just a little too much breading for me, made it look bigger, but the amount on the mashed potatoes was a small scoop a little disappointed in that and the gravy was hot but it need a little more seasoning so I sprinkled a little salt and pepper on it which fix that. So I am going to bump up the stars a little but still not a 5 star. Oh and as always the chips and queso dip were awesome the salsa is nasty in my opinon and the bread rolls are good but just reminds me of eating a glazed doughnut not for me for lunch or dinner. The waitress was great this time, sorry don't remember her name but she was on top of it with drink refills and stopping and checking on us. Granted they weren't real busy when we were there today but was a better experience this time. As before the place is nice good sized booths and pretty good for parking, will go back again as long as it's stay this good.

The food is good and their prices are extremely reasonable. They still bring out the croissants with honey butter for free which is nice. I haven't been here in a year or more and I was surprised at how low their prices are compared to other similar restaurants. Everyone has raised their prices so much. It's a solid choice to take the family out to dinner but if you are a foodie like me you will probably be disappointed. It's very basic and the cook doesn't pay attention to detail.

Food was really good. Service was good. Came to visit some friends of mine and came to eat at Cheddar for my friends bday. Ambiance was good.

Cheddars is usually a hit or miss for me because I've probably gone over 50 times since I was a kid. Sometimes there service isn't great but also sometimes it's really good. You really don't know what you will get because there have also been times where the croissants are burnt and cold. But usually the food is good and it's very comfortable and clean inside.

Service was fast & friendly, Brittany D did a fantastic job!! The food was excellent as always & the Peach Tea was very refreshing & the dessert was fantastic. The atmosphere was quiet & conversationally friendly.

Possibly one of my favorite restaurants in Lexington. Between the consistency and the customer service there is not much better.

It's pretty good bar food, but the quality has gone down since Covid. Like a slightly upscale Applebee's.

Always on the lookout for Cheddars when traveling. Best chicken tenders & croissants to be had.

Chicken was raw, meal size salad was as big as side salad. One server for whole restaurant. Everything took forever.

However, coming into this establishment - everybody's so friendly and so welcoming this is how I knew that the restaurant was going to be fantastic. Not only did the gentleman at the front walk us through the menu and how to order he gave some great recommendations as well. Food came out real quick and has great flavours at a great price point and I enjoy that you can do half size so you can try more than one. I ordered the crawfish etoufee. So many different hot sauce flavours to try and get them in a little sauce container the bread oh my God I could devour that so good the whole meal. Honestly, the flavours were delicious. If I'm ever in this area again, I'm definitely gonna come back.

Except for one couple who were finishing their meal, we were the only ones there. Regardless we had fantastic service and tasty food with the gorgeous downtown views available from the huge windows. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was HUGE, juicy and crispy. The fries were delicious, a very generous portion and very well seasoned. Since we were celebrating we ordered 2 desserts: the olive oil cake and the 10th birthday celebration cake. The celebration cake was a bit dry, but the olive oil cake was fantastic with a lovely combo of strawberries and pistachio cream. A really amazing cake I wish I could have more. Bye Lockbox! Thanks for the memories.

The vibes and the ambiance is cool and modern, with art adorning the walls (it is inside the 21C art hotel after all). Tables are well spaced out and benches are comfortable. Open and full of light, this is a great space. Service was attentive and helpful. I started out with the sausage balls, made with creole hot honey mustard, dill, and chili. The texture was really hard and while the sauce was tasty, the sausage ball itself seemed to lack flavor. Next time I will probably try to pimento cheese, which the server said was supposed to be very good (he couldn't speak personally because he's not a pimento fan). For my entree I had the pork belly. And I think I am the problem here, not the dish. It's fatty and rich, as pork belly is supposed to be, but it felt so very greasy to me. I ate very little of this, and this is where my fifth star falls off. I should have gone with the burger or berry beef culotte. I also had a side of fries, which as others have noted, are crisp and well seasoned. They were delicious. They have a nice little cocktail list. I had the hattori hanzo, mad with haku vodka, smoked paprika, pineapple shrub, and pineapple juice. I love pineapple, so I loved this drink that was heavy on the fruity flavor. I also had the temper tantrum, made with gin, grapefruit, lime juice, and thyme. A little sweet, a little bitter, which was perfect for this gin lover. It might have been my favorite. And the Scarlet Manhattan, made with old forester rye, scarlet apertivo, angostura, and orange bitters, it was the perfect smoky end to the night. Looking forward to coming back and adding that fifth star.
