Chips and queso dip, yummy! The other one is our plates the one with the salad is mine.

This was our second time going here giving it a second chance from the not good last visit. The food was good a hot this time, we both got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes n gravy and then I got the side salad also. The steaks were a good size with a fairly light breading but just a little too much breading for me, made it look bigger, but the amount on the mashed potatoes was a small scoop a little disappointed in that and the gravy was hot but it need a little more seasoning so I sprinkled a little salt and pepper on it which fix that. So I am going to bump up the stars a little but still not a 5 star. Oh and as always the chips and queso dip were awesome the salsa is nasty in my opinon and the bread rolls are good but just reminds me of eating a glazed doughnut not for me for lunch or dinner. The waitress was great this time, sorry don't remember her name but she was on top of it with drink refills and stopping and checking on us. Granted they weren't real busy when we were there today but was a better experience this time. As before the place is nice good sized booths and pretty good for parking, will go back again as long as it's stay this good.

The food is good and their prices are extremely reasonable. They still bring out the croissants with honey butter for free which is nice. I haven't been here in a year or more and I was surprised at how low their prices are compared to other similar restaurants. Everyone has raised their prices so much. It's a solid choice to take the family out to dinner but if you are a foodie like me you will probably be disappointed. It's very basic and the cook doesn't pay attention to detail.

Food was really good. Service was good. Came to visit some friends of mine and came to eat at Cheddar for my friends bday. Ambiance was good.

Cheddars is usually a hit or miss for me because I've probably gone over 50 times since I was a kid. Sometimes there service isn't great but also sometimes it's really good. You really don't know what you will get because there have also been times where the croissants are burnt and cold. But usually the food is good and it's very comfortable and clean inside.

Service was fast & friendly, Brittany D did a fantastic job!! The food was excellent as always & the Peach Tea was very refreshing & the dessert was fantastic. The atmosphere was quiet & conversationally friendly.

Brought a group of 9 in for dinner on a Sunday night and was told it would be 2 hour wait. Counted over 12 tables empty. Poor management!

Service was crap. Philly cheese steak was bland and made me sick. Friends chicken was raw.

I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. My brother-in-law ordered the fish tacos, which were easily the standout dish at the table. My sister's chicken cesar salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. For me, though, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again--more of a "fine if someone else suggests it" kind of spot.

The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.

Only downside was I was hoping to order steak and eggs, but found out breakfast is only served on weekends, which I didn't realize ahead of time. And they were out of an item we initially ordered but got something else. Still, really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back.

One evening, we decided to try a local place, Kelly's Homestead Restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We walked in and found the restaurant fairly busy. After waiting at the entrance, the host simply asked, "How many?" then grabbed menus and walked off toward a booth without saying "Follow me" or offering any kind of welcome. She tossed the menus on the table and walked away--no greeting, no "Your server will be right with you," nothing. We sat for 15 minutes without a single server acknowledging us or taking a drink order. Looking around, we noticed other tables had drinks, but hardly anyone seemed to be having their orders taken. Eventually, we left and headed to Cracker Barrel, where both the service and the food were fantastic. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Kelly's Homestead Restaurant.

Both were large portions, came out quickly and were good. My kids got chicken tenders, the Idaho prime, and my wife got chicken with wild rice. My kids loved the chicken tenders (which surprised because they were battered like fish, so different) and they did taste good. My wife loved her chicken and the wild rice was a crispy rice and it was great. My daughter's Idaho prime was fantastic, the stuff you dream about, and huge. I got a New York strip, they seasoned and cooked it perfectly. My side salad was a rarity, it came with real vegetables, like real ripened tomatoes, it was much better than a normal house salad. The service was fantastic. Attentive, prompt, well timed, our drinks never got empty, our server was personable and courteous, the manager checked on us and was personable as well, not the usual routine drive by "how is everything". To top it all off our check was less than $100 for 2 appetizers, 5 entrees, and we left with 4 heavy to go boxes. The interior was very unique and interesting in a good way. The fireplace, pictures, glass bottle doorway etc.. really caught our eyes and was a cool change of scenery. All in all it was a great dinner and we will definitely be back.
