The menu always looked decent and those honey butter croissants were worth the price of admission We decided to get the bourbon shrimp and salmon both cooked med well which some would be disappointed but I'd rather lean more well than raw with fish The sides were good especially the red beans and rice and yeah it wasn't top tier ingredients but I'm telling you flavor was there. I ate here for the first time this week. The restaurant is very nice inside, which I was quite surprised at. I expected something more casual. I want to start by saying that I gave this place 2 stars because my personal meal was horrible, but my parents' meals looked and tasted (according to them) delicious. I had the fish and chips, which was soggy on the bottom and all around rubbery, with absolutely no flavor. It's obvious it was frozen. I found it odd that it was so bad considering it was one of their lunch specials. My mom had the bacon cheeseburger, and my dad had the lunch special Philly cheese steak. Both of their lunches were huge and definitely filling. The only other disappointment was the fries, which were nothing special. The place was very busy when we went at 11:30 am on a Tuesday, but the service was good. It did take quite a while to get our food, though. I'd like to come back and give them another try but I definitely won't order the fish and chips again. read more

Walking in- There was a rustic, farm-like atmosphere that was very pleasant and welcoming. The bathrooms contradicted that though as they were unsanitary. Service- The servers were extremely pleasant but the drinks took a while considering our party only ordered waters and a Shirley Temple. Meal- The complimentary croissants were amazing, the butter on top added to the perfect starter. The caesar salad was really good, the dressing was amazing and they left it on the side so you could dress to your liking. The lettuce was also really fresh, with little to no lettuce ribs. The BBQ ribs were messy as usual but with no wet nap to wipe off your hands, and the ribs were hard to peel off the bone, but they were pretty good, along with the fries which were tasty as well. The grilled chicken and pecan salad was great, there were lots of candied pecans. The chicken was tender and very flavorful. After that soup, I only had a little room to try the main - tasted good, but I liked the sides even more. Broccoli was tender and just needed salt. Took just a bite of the cheesecake - sadness... Waiter made some suggestions for sides with our meals, broccoli casserole and carrots. Carrots were cold and had no taste. Broccoli casserole was decent. I ordered the fried shrimp, and it was so fried I couldn't even bite into them. Spinach dip and chips, no flavor, chips are undercooked and the dip is just a spinach with no seasoning or flavor. We paid a deposit to secure the Fud Vybez food truck for a 30th bday/dinner party, and less than 3 weeks before the party, we received a refund for that deposit. We contacted the vendor and they said they received "an opportunity they could not afford to miss out on for a lucrative event" and "unfortunately would have to cancel" for our event. This is highly unprofessional and a huge inconvenience. They are unreliable and we strongly do not recommend their services. They provided a back up caterer contact, but it's the principle of the matter. If something better comes along, you will be dropped (even though you've paid well in advance and planned for their services). read more

Always a solid experience at Cheddar's. Food was good, reasonably priced and generously portioned. My favorite thing on the menu is the monte Cristo sandwich. Our server was kind and attentive. I like sitting at the booth. It's not too loud in there and you can still have a conversation. It can get busy during dinner time, I would recommend join the waitlist online before going. We ate at Cheddar's in Chattanooga today, we had errands, (an excuse to eat here). We were greeted by a young man named Cody. He was friendly, confident, funny and genuine. He took our order without writing anything down. I thought, uh oh, something will come out wrong. Nope, the blackened ribeye was sensational! The orders were perfect. Cody has good common sense too and let us eat rather than stopping by every few minutes. We'll ask for Cody next time if it's a weekend as he only works Saturday and Sunday. The overall experience was good. I kept trying to understand why it is such a popular restaurant because everything we had was very basic. Maybe the good prices? The honey croissants were very tasty as an appetizer. Service wasn't too bad for noon on a Sunday. I was disappointed because they only had one vegetarian option. I wanted to get the New Orleans pasta without meat but they said that it's all prepared at the beginning of the day and couldn't be served without the meat. The broccoli casserole was good, the seasoned rice had a good buttery flavor to it. The carrots were very sweet which caught me off guard. Overall not too bad for $8.99. My wife and I did not order onion rings, yet the waitress spilt the cost of the onion rings between all three couples. I did not agree to the cost spilt yet I had to pay for the other couple's food.
