    Great menu!

This place was just great! The food is amazing and the people are super nice, and it's really clean and peaceful! Warning: if you get buffalo sauce with your meal, get the sauce on the side the buffalo sauce is super spicy The music isn't overly loud, and it's very welcoming. They have a pretty fish tank as well! They also have their own home made ranch. Definitely recommend this place!

We were greeted and seated right away. Didn't take long for the server (Katherine A) to come for drink orders. The drinks and started bread came right away, the bread is delicious!! The artichoke dip was nice and creamy with great flavor. Queso dip was great, with good consistency and flavor. This is the first monte Cristo sandwhich I have ever had, and oh yum was it good. Our server was very friendly, helpful, and fast. The booths are high enough they give you a bit of privacy.

Background - I've been in town for over a week - eating nothing but fried food and sandwiches thanks to my parent's kitchen being somewhat out of commission. I was seriously feening for some grilled salmon and steamed veggies and after calling around to several local seafood spots to discover they didn't offer salmon, decided to give Cheddar's a try. (I'm not sure how - but I somehow managed to completely forget that Longhorn's is still in business and they sell the exact meal I was looking for - lol.) Exterior - LOTS of disabled person parking. Entire front side of building is handicapped parking. Not a criticism or a complaint - just an observation. Interior - I was here years ago for a birthday celebration. The floors are still sticky. They explained why the were like this when we were here before but can't remember the explanation. Other than the weird floors, space seems clean. I get that it's summer, but they keep it SUPER cold inside. If I'd had a duster or cardigan in my trunk, I would honestly have gone back outside to snag it. Food I ordered blackened salmon with a baked potato as my side. (They didn't have a steamed vegetable medley.) I also added a salad with extra tomatoes. My salad was surprisingly good. It was definitely elevated by what appeared to be homemade croutons. Just a note - for your starter, they have croissants drizzled with streusel instead of rolls or loaves. The salmon portion is available in 13 or 15 oz . I went with 15 oz offering because I wanted to have serious leftovers. When entree arrived, salmon appeared a little undercooked. There was very little rice and that was fine because I didn't want much - mainly wanted it for texture with the steamed vegetables and since the vegetables weren't an option it was fine. Besides - a potato and rice ... starch city! One bite confirmed that it was a bit undercooked so I had everything boxed up and I put in the oven later (wrapped in foil) and I genuinely enjoyed it. Customer Service Chelsea (sp?) was my server. She was good - a little subdued but not rude or anything. She did do the thing where she carried my cup by the rim instead of holding the bottom third of the glass / cup. And the hostesses seemed a little out of it - but overall the customer service was fine. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to pay a the table using the little kiosk.

When I ate here for the first time the food was pretty descent. The service was good and the ambiance was casual.

Food is 5 stars, service was 4 stars, wait time was 2 stars. More than half the restaurant was empty with workers standing around but we were told there was a 20-30 minute wait. 45 minutes later after having to go ask because we had to get young kid home we were told the manager had to clean table off and staff seemed annoyed (despite all tables around where we sat bring clean) I was ready to walk out, but luckily, the food came out fast & was excellent, making up for the initial bad experience

Delicious. * Our serve was attentive but not over burdening. I actually ended up going there twice this week- once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch I had their Bombay chicken salad where the chicken is curried and on top of a cabbage slaw with a bright citrus vinaigrette. 3 small pieces of flatbread accompanied the salad along with a Fruit chutney that tasted like apple pie. I ordered an additional side of flatbread which came warm and was quite good with the chutney. The curry chicken is outstanding so I was tempted to have it for dinner later that week but decided to try their Bahamian curry which was excellent- a bowl of rice with curried chicken, sweet potato and kale. My husband had the special which was Mahi mahi Marsala and he raved about it. If that is on the menu next time I will definitely get it. The restaurant knows how to spice their food so definitely check it out. They do not take reservations but turnover seems to be pretty quick particularly at lunch.

A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost. Tipsy McSway's is open until 10 PM and the kitchen stops taking orders at 9 PM. After looking over the menu, I decided to try the Brunswick stack sandwich. I had hoped to try the tomato bisque soup as my side, but unfortunately, they only serve chili, not soup, on Mondays. So instead, I ordered the fried potato salad as my side, and it was surprisingly delicious. It comes with small diced potatoes in a warm savory mustard sauce. When I originally asked the bartender what he recommended, he mentioned the Brunswick stack sandwich as well as the smash burgers. While the sandwich was good, I would probably try one of the burgers next time. Nevertheless, I would definitely get the fried potato salad again. The next time I'm in the area, I would definitely consider returning to Tipsy McSway's and I would recommend it to others as well. Cheers

They offer a happy hour for cocktails and small plates even on Saturday which we all took advantage of! Between the group we sampled a large portion of the menu and the only thing we didn't LOVE was the steak Kushiyaki (skewered grilled meat). The steak was too tough and smoky for our tastes, but every other dish and drink we would absolutely recommend! Some standouts were the Szechuan noodles, the salmon and Hamachi crudo, the tuna tartare and surprisingly? The burger and fries! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

My wife started with a glass of wine and I had an old-fashioned. The wine was a Zwiegelt and a decent pour which was nice and dry. I enjoyed the old-fashioned which was nicely presented but on regular cubes. We ordered a number of items off the HH menu, including the shaved Brussels sprouts salad, black bean tlacoyos, a short rib torta, and the Dorothy burger and fries. The torta was tasty but small. I'd pass on the tlacoyos but it was fine. We also ordered a fresh salmon belly off the raw bar menu which was my favorite and very tasty and would definitely order again. This was a nice experience and would try again. I'd rate at a 4.4 if Yelp scoring allowed it. Check it out.
