Great and reliable food I haven't had a bad meal here yet. The place looks run down but give it a chance. The owners are trying to turn the place around starting with a polite and friendly staff. Worst Checkers experience of all time. First, they have you go in one line to order and then they had us go in another line to pick up the food.... And there were no cars. Make it make sense please. But most importantly, the food was god awful. Their burgers were the saddest thing I've ever seen, and their fries were just as bad. We got a side order of chicken fingers and we didn't even touch them, they were completely inedible. It amazes me how some things can even be served to customers. Do not go here. read more

Why are the Checker's and Rally's down South somewhat enjoyable, while the ones here their existence is always questionable? My check in here was just bad judgment at 11pm. I hadn't eaten all day, and this was one of four places open that I rather not chosen at all. And it's someplace that I never go at anytime. I have to give the staff credit for being extremely pleasant... This wasn't the rude attitude with a bag and drink treatment you'd get at the Checker's on Broad Street in North Philly. So I got my bag and drink, then I drove off.... Nice night out, so I had my window and sun roof open... I started smelling a scent like there was an industrial bakery around... (News to me). I parked, started eating my burger and fries, and that smell started getting more intense. I picked up a couple fries, and this is where that sickening sweet smell was coming from and filling the inside of my car! These mf's cooked fries, pies, and whatever else sweet on that menu in the same oil... It was cheap food, so I couldn't even get angry about it!! But I did have to throw this crap away. Bottom line here is that this Checker's earned every bit of their two star average that people had given them. I had one hour until the calendar date changed. If I hadn't eaten all day by 11pm, I could have and should have waited until the next morning to eat. read more

Don't come here unless you're cool with waiting 20mins in the drive-thru. They take forever to make your food even for a small order and the speakers in the drive-thru need to be replaced because it's difficult to understand what the order taker is saying. Also one drive-thru lane is for orders and the other is doordash/grubhub pick up only, you can't read the sign until you're already in the wrong lane and have to drive around to the other lane. Today they took my order in the normal order taking lane and told me to drive around in the other lane to wait only to be told by the guy in the other lane that I couldn't be there because it was the doordash/grubhub pickup lane. The line didn't move at all for the last 10 mins so I had to leave without my food. read more

this checkers location is horrendous. first, we waited about 15 minutes to get four milkshakes because the drive thru guy was too busy chatting away with the car in front of us. all they do is press a button and the milkshake pours out. they gave me a banana milkshake instead of a vanilla milkshake and i already corrected them about it when they misheard me to begin with. we ordered a chocolate milkshake and it only tasted of banana so when we went inside they stared at us like we had two heads. they were saying it's not their fault since it comes out of the same nozzle and the chocolate button was pressed. we agreed but they wouldn't let us get a different item in exchange since our chocolate milkshake did not taste of chocolate. they said "we already gave u two milkshakes". yes, one of them was the completely wrong milkshake and when we tasted the one that was supposed to be chocolate, it was vanilla. we will never be returning to checkers especially this location because they could not even take accountability for something being wrong with the machine. we did not appreciate the way they handled the situation as we literally just wanted a chocolate milkshake. read more

The guy taking my order made me back up and go to other intercom to order because the dude i went on was DoorDash only.. (couldn't see the handmade sign that was wet) and that's when i should've left. After saying the wrong order to me 3/4 times (i think he thought it was funny, it wasn't)... so then i oay and sit there approximately 11 min waiting for chicken tenders.. the girl then goes to hand me my bag and as I'm asking her about sauce she's telling me she already put bbq in.. ok great but i wasn't honey mustard.. it was weird.. tenders were not great either read more

The chicken sandwich and hot dog I got today were done just right and the buns were super fresh. Everyone is always respectful at this location. Visited 8/16 after work. Ordered the loaded cheese fries w/o ranch and.. they were great. However I seem to have an uncomfortable side affect of the cheese as I can taste it in parts of my mouth and it doesn't taste like cheese at all.. it's hard to describe but I assure you it isn't a pleasant after-taste. Would I go there again? Yes, but maybe ease up on how much cheese is consumed with loaded fries, that and/or a powerful drink to rid yourself of any unpleasant lingerings. read more

As far as fast food restaurants go, Checkers is a solid choice. I would much rather go here than the McDonalds or Wendy's nearby. The servic is always quick and friendly and the food is fairly substantial. I usually get the Checkerburger and I love that the bun isn't flat and flavorless, and the toppings are always fresh and plentiful. read more

Literally none of the cooks wear their masks correctly. It's under their noses and one guy with NO mask walked in to close out the register. Really setting a good example huh? Worst service ever. The guy was just beyond rude and ignorant. Food cost thirty dollars and was disgusting. While taking the order the guy kept cutting us off to laugh with his coworker. I have never felt more disrespected ever. Not only did he treat us terribly he then had us move forward as we tried asking for sauces he shut the window in our faces.
