Beef cheek (this was a special for Thursday): 5/5 SUPER TENDER and great flavors. It was similar to a burnt end texture on the outside but the inside was amazing tender. Was great! The ribs! 5/5 This was honestly the star of the show. It had a great bark crust flavor and amazingly tender, wow, it was amazing and I don't say that lightly. Would 100% order again. The pulled pork:4/5 how do you say this is an average pulled pork feel like it's kinda hard to mess this one up, but it was pretty good. A standard pulled pork! As for the sides, they were okay if I'm honest. The baked beans were pretty good. I got it only because someone recommended it, but I normally am not a baked beans kind of guy. It was a little bit on the sweeter end but not bad at all. The mac & cheese was an average mac & cheese. Nothing super amazing or great but good enough I guess. My side of Jalapeño Cream Corn tasted like it came from my grandmother's kitchen...creamy, comforting, and with just the right amount of heat. The setting adds its own magic. Located in Cary, the drive takes you through the city, but as soon as you turn onto Good Hope Church Rd and turn into Phillips Farms of Cary, you're transported straight to the country - rolling pastures, open space, and a relaxed atmosphere. The scenery alone sets the tone, but then the music kicks in. Texas' own Stevie Ray Vaughn, followed by classic country tunes. Between the landscape, the music, and the smell of barbecue in the air, I felt like I was back home like a warm Texas memory.
