Jerry came to my office and told me he could start on my house the very next day. Jerry and his crew arrived on schedule and worked diligently for the next three days. All the guys on the crew were really friendly and very professional. Each day when they were done, they cleaned up and left my house just as they had found it. When they finished, Jerry did a walk through with me and handled every concern I had. My house looks beautiful, and I could not be happier. I am going to use Jerry again for some additional stone work in the near future. If you need great stucco work done at a very reasonable price, call these guys. You won't be disappointed.

He randomly pulled into the Walgreen's parking lot where I stood in the Phoenix heat waiting for Triple A. Within minutes I was on my way thanks to his kindness. Would hire him in a minute. Kindness matters.

Not one to review often, but Danny and his guys deserve the recognition…read more Danny and his team converted our garage into a casita. Of the contractors I interviewed, Danny seemed the most honest and ethical. He was competitive on pricing and was willing to work with our modest budget. After seeing some of his previous work, I knew he could deliver on what we were asking him to do. Timeline, we honestly expected things to be delayed at every step, just given that this was during the tail end of the initial COVID shutdowns, supply chain issues, and, let's be honest, this is what many of us have come to expect from contractors. But all things considered, the milestones were most often met on time and the end product was delivered within the time frame proposed. To be expected, we had some disagreements and concerns along the way. What impresses me most was that Danny and his team were always quite responsive and in the end, our needs and desires always came first. Finally, in my mind, a job complete is only complete if the service that follows the delivery of the product is top notch. Danny and his team completes jobs. We had some minor issues in the year following the initial build. But Danny was always on top of it and despite being incredibly busy, found time to send his guys our way to take care of these issues promptly. Also, would like to recognize Jose, who was just the most sincere and hardest working of Danny's guys. Just a good guy; one of those guys that can't do any wrong. We were big fans. Honest, ethical, responsive, and fairly priced. And good guys, to boot. What more could you ask for in a contractor and his team? Thanks all for a job well done.

All of which I had been pleased with both pricing and quality. However, recently things went completely off the rails. The project started bad and ended awful. I got a call the day before the start saying we'd have a few days delay. Ok fine. I got a call later saying somebody would show up tomorrow. No one did. I got a call the next day saying they'd be there tomorrow. This time a guy showed up, said he needed to get some supplies, and never came back! Finally a guy came and tiled the shower and floors. Progress. Next, a crew came to do install the vanity. They left and never came back. Literally no one has come back to my house. And to make matters worse, Danny has completely ghosted me! Will not return my text. Will not return my calls. He was Johnny quick when it was time to collect the deposit. And now, nothing. It's bad enough that he took my money and left me high and dry. Our project was delayed months. When I finally scrambled to get a different contractor we found issues wrong with our cabinets. That's not their fault but given the delays we missed our return window. That's at least a couple more thousand dollars this company cost me. It has been an extremely frustrating experience apart from the money lost. We signed a contract. Never trust a company that doesn't honor it's own paperwork.

Prices were reasonable and things went as quickly and smoothly as could be.....considering the supply chain madness. I had a friend that were quoted 2 months for just a kitchen, that ended up being without a kitchen for 6 months. Travis had our whole house done to where we could move in, in just over two months. There were several obstacles - hard to find items, cabinets that the supplier kept "promising", even our dryer vent ended up being too small outlets and wire that were hard to find. He was great at problem solving and found us another cabinet supplier when the other was dragging and built the cabinets themselves for us due to timing! Overall, very happy with the work quality and communication throughout the process.

We hired Jim in January of 2025 to help us get permits and complete a major remodel on our home…read more He touted a "concierge level service" and "guaranteed our project would be on time and on budget". His initial estimates were a bit high but we believe it would be worth it with the level of service he claimed. The intention was to perform the work that summer, which meant 3-4 months to obtain permits...a reasonable timeframe. in the end it took a year to get our permits, the initial plans had 82 corrections, and Jim's price went from $430,000 prior to signing on to over $1,000,000...for the same work, if not slightly less. To say this was a disappointing experience would be an extreme understatement. Multiple homes on our street were purchased, permitted, and construction completed prior to us even getting final permits. Jim completely forgot to follow up on comments from the city for our pool permit for 4 months!

First of all, I will say that we are not yet finished with our Carefree, AZ remodel. Completion…read morewill be in early October and I will follow up with more then, but I think my experience so far is important to publish. I contacted Mike George at the recommendation of another professional in the Phoenix area. I asked him to come and walk a property that I was buying that needed some updating here and there. Well, a little updating has come all the way to a full kitchen remodel (down to the studs and bare cement), new flooring in a few rooms, paint on every wall, walls were taken down, fireplaces completed remodeled, etc. It's BIG job in anyone's book! I will also tell you that this is not my first remodel. I've redone about a dozen homes, so I have a fair amount of experience, good and bad, with general contractors. So, what can I say about Mike George and George Construction? He is the consummate professional. He commits and delivers. He is a man of few words. He listens to his client and doesn't always say yes. That's important because, in a remodel, the worse outcome is tearing something out and then realizing that it shouldn't have been torn out at all because the vision cannot be realized. He is not always the cheapest route but you can trust that if he says it will happen, it will. For me, time is part of the spec! Sadly, on this project, I'VE been the one delaying the project, not George Construction. They work quickly, they keep the job site tidy, and when you walk in during a work day, you are likely to see 10+ people working in various rooms at the same time. That's a pretty tough challenge - directing multiple projects in one space so that the work gets done without interruption. I am not sure how he keeps the subcontractors so well organized but it works! I highly recommend working with George Construction. More to come when we finish our super not-so-tiny (!) project!!
