    Almond croissant
    Anmol K.

Cutest little coffee/pastry shop. AMAZING croissants, so far I've tried the plain, almond, and chocolate and all of them are great. My personal favorite so far is almond. I've heard they have other flavors as well, but they sell out of their baked goods early during the day so make sure to come early! Matcha latte is also super yummy. Service is great as well, the person at the register is always very kind. My new go to pastry/coffee shop! Highly recommend

We stopped here for a quick bite on Saturday, Unlike other places on Beverly Blvd , there were plenty of table available, the service was fast and staff were friendly. They also had outdoor sitting with plenty of open tables. As for food, the avocado toast was very well made, loved the latte, but their croissants were more on the dry side.

Ordered over $100 in pasties but they would not give me a 2nd box to split the order into

The quality of Chaumont has really gone downhill and the service has been terrible the last 2 times I was there. Pastries did not seem fresh the last couple visits- not like they used to be. I ordered over $100 in pastries the last time I was there and they'd placed everything in one large box. When I asked for a smaller empty box so I could separate some pastries for a friend I was with to take home, the woman behind the counter making the coffee (not the one who took my order) rudely told me she didn't have any boxes and when I explained I wanted to split the order into 2 boxes, she said no. Mind you, they literally had a stack of smaller empty boxes on the counter...likely won't be returning any time soon.

Very tasty, but for $25 lunch bowl, the size of the salmon is pretty skinny. Used to have herbs : dill, mint, cilantro & parsley, but I don't see any of them.

It's great to know that this place is staying solid after all these years. It still is the best croissant in LA! They have added more choices of their pastries every time I come. Surprisingly great! Today, Sunal was very helpful. She's so accommodating and friendly and truly knows the goodies they're offering at the Vegan shop. Oh, fyi, they have vegan shop separate from the regular shop. Both owned by the same company.

Pancakes with buttery whipped cream and poached pear

A cute lil cafe with a small patio and few indoor dining tables. We came at a very quiet time so were able to grab an inside table, away from the heat. My daughter had the pancakes with a buttery whipped cream and poached pear, delish. I had a folded mushroom omelette that came with a side arugula salad that was all dressed with so yummy, sprigs of dill. Very tasty and the size satisfying. Next time we'll need to try the pastries as they're very talked about. Overall a nice and quiet escape from the 'crazy' of N Beverly Dr.

They do run out of pastries so if you are looking for something specific, be sure to go at a good time. They do close earlier than other shops but they are one of the few that are also opened early at 6:30am for those that work at 7am. The space is beautiful, with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows making space look bright and airy. My favorite dessert has been their flourless chocolate small cake although shame on me for never trying their croissants! Also a great option for those who are vegan as they have Chaumont vegan next door as well.

This was such a neat little find in the heart of Beverly Hills, the restaurant takes me right back into the cafés in Paris, and they serve very authentic French baked goods. The vibe was perfection, visually the decor was beautiful, and the servers were very friendly. They have a large selection of unique French pastries that you wouldn't find normally in other bakeries. Highly recommend this little treasure, and I look forward to visiting again.

    Mocha

Very much enjoyed breakfast here, I ordered the breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, which came with a small side salad, the mocha was pretty good as well. Small seating area inside and 1-2 tables outside, service was quick and efficient.

    Lost my appetite

There was a bug in the food I purchased. The staff appears to lack the necessary attention to inspect the packaging before distribution. Additionally, the staff's demeanor is unprofessional and discourteous.

Croissant and latte with almond milk

Chaumont is my favorite pre-work spot when I am in town. The coffee is consistently good. Pastries are delicious. The favorites include the almond croissant and a latte with almond milk. I just came back from Paris and the pastries are comparable. It is definitely on the pricier side ($5 for a plain croissant...they were $3 in Paris...) so one star docked down. The staff is very friendly and will bring your pastry and coffee to you if having your item there. I tend to enjoy my items there and put in an hour or so of work before heading to the office. It is quiet and calm despite the number of people getting their morning fuel.

Delish croissant. Can't get enough of their pastries and coffees. Soooo good. Great place to snap a pic with friends too.

Though I've been here just once (for lunch), I am already plotting my return. I arrived a bit earlier than my friends and in so doing, accidentally avoided the start of the lunch rush. As there are not many tables here, I feel I lucked out snagging a table for us. As I took at the cozy, classy splendor of a still very new establishment, the relaxed but polished decor was both inspiring and low-key. I had an excellent espresso while I got my wish: extended time to take in the menus. The drink menu, and the food menu. It's my favorite when that part of the cafe/restaurant experience delivers tons of time to get really acquainted with a place. Our friendly, helpful server asked the questions I had about the menu, and the time he didn't know he went and found out. Breakfast is served all day, by the way. My friend started with the sausage rolls (accompanied by the freshly made ketchup). Delicious and great for a table starter or a fairly light entree. Good crunch, and moist inside with plenty of seasoning. My entree was the black forest ham quiche. It was indicative of everything else here: the right size, the right mix of produce, protein, fluffy, cheesy egg inside, and anchored by a subtle but first-rate crust. It's served with a fennel based salad, a crisp and a great complement. We were happy and satisfied sooner than expected (alas, Le Moules must wait). Still, I could not resist a little dessert and ordered the Pain Aux Apricot. It was fantastic, something out of a cafe in Paris. Crisp and light and just sweet enough. Appreciated the friendly service. A steady diet of 70's soft-rock quietly served as the soundtrack at this one lunch. There is easily accessible parking on the street or mostly-free city lot.

I expected a high-quality cupcake. The cupcakes looked cute, but they were as dry as the Sahara. They should have been labeled as white cupcakes as I didn't detect any vanilla in them. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. Service was a little slow at first and there was only one family ahead of me. Perhaps they were busy making their orders. They only had one person working at the counter. However, once the representative approached me, he took his time helping me choose my order and he was very nice. I found this place while searching for cupcakes on Yelp. There are not many cupcake options in the area anymore. However, I learned they only have cupcakes available for preordering. There were none in store which was disappointing. Additionally, I did not see a lot of the pastries that are shown on Yelp. Seems like they changed their dessert menu within the last year. They do have little pastries, cakes, drinks, and a savory menu with crepes. The pastries are gorgeous and I was excited to try them. However, according to the representative most are made with beef gelatin and are therefore, not vegetarian so, being a vegetarian, my options were limited. I appreciate that he let me know. They did have a vegetarian option for me though. I ordered the raspberry cake. It was delightful. Not as showy as the mousse gelatin desserts but still a pretty dessert and very tasty and melt in my mouth soft. Overall, a cute yet very touristy place to visit. Since options for me were limited I probably would not return as it is out of the way but I do think it was worth a try and a one time treat and what I got was delicious. Parking on the street. Valet parking available next door. Public parking lots nearby.

Afterwards, we sat at the store to try the danish since we were hungry. Have to say it measures up to another one of my favorite patisseries that is located in Del Mar called Clemente.
