It's located in a plaza that I frequent here and there. I like the Shoppers Drug Mart. Occasionally, I'll hit the No Frills, which this bubble tea store is closer to. A Yelp experience drew my attention to this business. The owner there recognized me from her first location, Hana's Tea, in Richmond Hill. It didn't cross my mind that Hana's Tea and Hana's Roulettea are owned by this woman until she explicitly made the connection for me. Well, I know now! It was nice that she recognized me. I was a regular customer getting macarons and a tea on Tuesdays in Richmond Hill for weeks last year. I brought the former into the office the following day. The latter was for my immediately consumption and happiness. There's lot of parking in this plaza. I have never had any issues finding a parking spot. I got these items at the Yelp experience: - Peachy peach tea - Yuzu macaron I like fizzy ade drinks. This place has them. I also like the fruit teas. I settled for the peachy peach tea. I got it with 30% sugar and regular ice. I didn't want yakult on top, but you can add it if that's your thing. I loved my peachy peach tea. It was cold and yummy with the popping peach boba. I loved the ripe peach taste. It hit the spot on a 34-degree Celsius day. I have been a fan of Hana's macarons since the beginning. The yuzu had a nice citrusy flavour. The macaron shells were crispy and chewy where they should be. It was nice to enjoy one again. The menus are similar at both locations. The chicken gyoza are on the menu. They are awesome! There were tables to sit down, and enjoy your food and drink, similar to the other location. This place feels more spacious and relaxed. I am thrilled that this location exists. As much as I love Hana's Tea in Richmond Hill, this location is so much closer to me. Last Tuesday, I returned to get six macarons: - Salted caramel - Royal milk tea - Mango I brought them to work to share. They were a hit. Staff were friendly the two times that I have dropped by. I'll be back for more. (280)

The one item that they had that will likely be the item that will attract me to keep coming back are their mochis. It's a bit pricey for about $4 each but it's very fresh and yummy! I tried their mango mochi and taro mochi and both were fantastic. I tried the ham and cheddercheese bun and it was good which was nicely filled with lots of cheese and ham. There is a pretty big buns selection and flaky pastries which looked pretty good and some reviews had complimented their beef pastry so I'll have to buy some on my next visit. I didn't get a chance to read any reviews before going and realized that I missed getting some of their popopular items like their tuna bun and their egg & spam bun which I'll get on my next visit so I'll be definitely be back!

I first tried it about 8 years ago when they only sold poke bowls. Now they have appetizers (gyoza, karage chicken), specialty drinks and hot dishes such as ramen and beef rice bowls. My favorite has always been the kale noodle salmon poke bowl! I love it so much I asked if I can buy their kale noodle uncooked in bulk. Unfortunately he wouldnt share their supplier name and said they could not sell it to me that way lol. But i did find something similar in the J-town grocery store, just not the same :(. The light sesame dressing , little rice crispies makes the dish. It is served with cherry tomatoes, some sliced cucumbers, pink ginger, edamame beans and corn and of course topped with your favorite sauce. Ive also tried this dish as a rice bowl but prefer the kale noodle as that chew really makes it unique to the Komeya experience. The staff are always so friendly. Highly recommend. Prices have significantly increased over the years.

What was ordered: Mango Coconut Americano Hand crushed lime tea with Pineapple juice In general the drinks are just okay. The mango coconut Americano is mango purée/juice with coconut water and an espresso shot. The combination made the coffee seem watered down. The hand crushed lime tea was lacking something, I could taste the pineapple juice but again it seemed water down. None of the flavours were pronounced.

DRINKS (3/5) I ordered the Four Seasons Tea w/ Cheese Foam which is #18 on their best selling 20 drinks. The drink only comes in a large. The cheese foam was textbook; creamy, sweet, and a tad salty. The tea on the other hand tasted a bit watered down. I can't speak to whether the other drinks would also be, so I'll give another a drink a try when I'm in the area. AMBIANCE (5/5) The shop is super cute, modern and clean. Great lighting makes it a great spot to study or work. VALUE (3.5/5) The drinks were definitely a bit on the pricier side compared to the big chains but not far fetched. I think on my next visit if the drink is better quality, I'd rate the value much better. ACCESSIBILITY (4.5/5) Gotcha Bubbletea is right on Hwy 7 so easily accessible via bus or car. This place draws you in with its fancy and interesting sounding drinks and nice ambience but it's really more looks than substance. Royal Mango Pomelo Coconut Milk - An easy would not recommend for this one. Drink was light as a pencil when I held it in my hands. Never had a drink this "airy" before. When I got back to the car, I noticed it was only 3/4 full. Pomelo was bitter and not a trace of mango. I bet they forgot to put mango in it. Gotcha Signature Fruit Tea - Comes in extra large size only. Wife liked it. It's not too bad and both the tea and fruit flavours do come through. Verdict: I don't crave bubble tea a lot but I did tonight and was sorely disappointed. 2 drinks cost 2/3rds of my dinner for 4 and rather than satisfy my craving, it just made me more angry as I drank it. Sadly for them, I will not return to give them another chance.

I was getting patties from George's Tastee and was putting them away in my car. Parked steps away from my car was a York Region police vehicle. I saw an officer head to his car with a bag of food. I looked up. He got food from Suval Takeout and Catering. It was new to me. It's where Babu used to be. Babu had been here for eons. Police officers seem to know where to eat. Although I wasn't hungry, I felt the need to check this store out. This place has daily specials. On weekends, it's lumprais and meat thali. Nice! I saw a sandwich board for bubble tea at $3.99. Hey, why not? I walked in and saw so many food options. You basically tell staff what you'd like and they'll put a box or container of yumminess together for you. There isn't anywhere to sit down, so you get your food, pay for it, and leave. A man behind the counter immediately greeted me. I ordered a blueberry bubble tea. He asked me whether I wanted a regular or large. I went with the latter. The blueberry flavouring was in a powder. I got a generous amount of tapioca in my drink. He put ice in a blender with water and the blueberry powder and blended it. Is it bubble tea? Not really. Will that stop me from drinking it? Nope. I looked around. I need to return. The food looked yummy. I was salivating looking at the biriyani. I saw chicken and mutton biriyani. Yes, please! I saw sweets in the back left corner of the store. On the left were a bunch of samosas and more. There were snacks in the middle of the store. The seasoned chickpeas snacks caught my attention. Yum! I looked at the large bubble tea. It's like a regular to me. Thank goodness I got the larger size! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I got my drink with a straw, thanked the nice man, and left. This place accepts debit and credit cards. I'm not sure about cash. My bubble tea tasted great. I liked the blueberry flavour. It was cold and yummy. The downside to making a blended bubble tea with ice is that the tapioca balls stuck to one another. They were chewy, but it was like fishing out a different molecular structure of tapioca balls with my straw. Roughly a third of my cup had tapioca balls in it. It was generous. I'll be back to get some biriyani. Prices are decent here. I hope the food is as yummy as it looks! (344)

Wife is excited that there is a good sushi place near by (dangerous), but this is my review so let's begin. Service here is good. Helpful staff and menu is pretty simple to understand. Ordered $40 sushi platter. To start, presentation of their take out is much nicer than most places No plain plastic circle with pattern on the plastic here. Sushi was pretty good. The Maki rolls with the salmon on top, they give you a nice fat piece. The box is pretty full, lots of tasty sushi and the consistency of the rice was good. Only thing I would probably change is that the wasabi comes predone in packets (prefer the more in house made ones) and the shrimp tempura in some of the rolls might have been a bit over done and salty, this l could just be growing pains. Would try more things there down the road. Still more things to try. Looks like they have drinks or bbt as well so will probably have to try that too. Place was very clean and brightly lit. Look forward to my next visit

Tried their poke bowls and it was a complete disappointment…read more I ordered the fire fin, there was so little salmon in the bowl, probably came up to only 3 sashimi slices? Salmon was not marinated and had no flavour either. The rice was hard and cold, in fact the temperature of everything was overly cold. More importantly the ingredients did not taste fresh. My husband ordered the unadon and had very little unagi. Also kind of strange that both bowls tasted the same in flavour.. Price value and quality is definitely not there. Hard pass, definitely better options elsewhere.
