I ordered a caprese, but unfortunately it was served without any mozzarella. The tomatoes and basil were fine, but without the mozzarella, it wasn't really a caprese. Unfortunately, I couldn't even eat it because it was not what I ordered. I was pretty disappointed.

Great! We had brunch here, a few breakfast items and a couple of sandwiches and soup- all were delicious! Friendly folks took our order. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Cute grab and go options as well. Definitely recommended if you're in Chatham!Side note: They don't have espresso or matcha drinks. If you want espresso, go to Snowy Owl across the street.

I ordered an egg cheese and sausage sandwich on gluten free bread. I was handed two pieces of cardboard untoasted bread with a piece of egg and sausage floating in between them, the cooks couldn't even be bothered to toast it for me or make the sandwich look semi edible in appearance or at the very least warm. All of my friends who ordered regular sandwiches had full portions of sausage and egg with melted cheese pressed together in toasted bread pieces, and mine was a sorry excuse for prison food. I took it out of the bag and my party gasped in disbelief of what I was served. Not to mention I was charged 11 dollars for it. Excellent start to my birthday!

Good spot for a quick breakfast and coffee. We stayed in town and stopped in twice for breakfast. Coffee is self serve and there's a separate line just for coffee. Pastries were just OK. Skip the scone. Breakfast sandwich is similar to an egg McMuffin. I was thinking it would be more of a scrambled egg, my mistake. Staff was fine but not overly friendly or helpful. They charge a service charge for cards better to pay cash.

Cham cookware was recommended to me by a local as a great go to for sandwiches. The menu is very robust and I had quite a difficult time choosing what to order. They were also extremely busy it's always a good idea to call into this location. I got the riptide which was turkey with dill Havarti and a cranberry chipotle mayo with bacon on seven grain bread. My overall impression was the sandwich was overwhelmed by the cranberry. I couldn't really taste the other flavors. I would try something different on my next visit. The outdoor seating is so nice and expensive. I really enjoyed sitting outside and people watching.

This place was packed! So chose the quick grab and go sandwhich for me and the kids. The pre-prepared sandwhiches were fresh and delicious. My daughter enjoyed her roast beef- the flavor combo of the roasted peppers, lettuce, tomato, onions, roast beef, and herbed spread was perfect. She also loved that it came on marble rye. I chose the chicken salad which was also fresh and the perfect thing for a hot summer day. The tables out back in the shade were lovely - it was nice to get off the sidewalk and away from the crowds and just chill. We also had a sesame bagel, which when toasted with butter (a little heavy branded on the butter), was reminiscent of buttered popcorn- not in a bad way. It was more of a Montreal style bagel... a little more dense which I like, but my daughter prefers the the airier ny style. We finished off with a pastry - a kouign amann... which looked amazing, my daughter loved it, but i found it a little disappointing.

Chstham Cookware Lettuce Sandwich? (Where's the roast beef?)

Chatham Cookware Cafe used to have the best sandwiches chock full of protein, i.e. turkey, roast beef, etc. This week, I ordered a roast beef sandwich wrap and basically got a lettuce sandwich with one very thin slice of roast beef. It was chock full of lettuce, but if the owner thought I didn't notice, I did. I won't be back anytime soon to order a sandwich and get ripped off.

Best spot in Chatham for breakfast and adorable outdoor seating area. Extra points for having excellent chocolate chip cookies.

But, everyone is amazingly friendly, the food is delicious and yes, the view. We've eaten there for every meal of the day and snacks included - if you have kids, the kids menu is basically the same throughout the property for lunch/dinner. Seafood is a standout, but everything is great - from fresh produce (some from the Chatham Bars Inn farm down the road!) to desserts. The lobster tacos may have been my favorite this time - flavorful and full of lobster. For when you don't need an entire crustacean. Drinks are delicious - the Chatham rose is quite good, but there are plenty of wine options on the menu either by the glass or bottle. This year, I also noticed quite a few non-alcoholic wines and beers (more than usual). Service is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you have menu questions or tweaks. I'm not sure they can make every change to a menu item possible, but they will try their best. At the beginning of the 'season' in summer, there are often team members learning, but I've never noticed a drop off in service at all. Overall, expensive, but delicious and a spot that you simply can't beat for the atmosphere.

I honestly think it's probably one of the best places to stay if you're visiting Cape Cod. It turns out this restaurant is actually pretty popular on the Cape, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the food was just okay--nothing spectacular. We got the Chicken Piccata, Lobster Roll, and Panzanella Salad. The salad was incredibly fresh and very good. The Chicken Piccata was also good, but nothing that really blew me away. The Lobster Roll, though, was incredibly bland. If you prefer a very simple and mild lobster roll, you might enjoy it, but it just wasn't for me. The brioche was amazing, but I really didn't enjoy the lobster itself. Honestly, the main reason I would come back here is for the view. The setting is beautiful, especially being right by the beach, but in my opinion, the food is pretty subpar. Come for the views, not necessarily for the food.

But I have to admit that every time I've looked at the menu for their fine dining restaurant, Stars, I was never impressed so we've only eaten there when we hosted Liz's big birthday bash in 2022. That food was great but we just never tried Stars even after that. This week we are staying at one of the Spa Suites at CBI and last night we dined at Stars. The crab cake starter was the best crab cake either of us has ever had and we've done Baltimore many times. There was no filler, beautifully done fresh crab. Outstanding. I ordered the New York strip which was served with pommes purée and a medley of fresh CBI grown vegetables. That steak was better than any I've had at Moo, Grill 23 or Abe and Louis by a lot. Tender, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Amazing. Liz had the scallops which she also loved, the one I tasted was perfectly seared and sweet. The Mexican Hot Chocolate cake was spectacular and the ice cream was amazing. The best meal I've had all year by far. The wine list is extensive but be careful there were several bottles costing more than $5000. We had a nice bottle of Barolo for around $150. All in on this place.

I'm so torn about rating this restaurant for many reasons. It's an iconic hotel with so much…read morehistory behind it, and a view to live for - the kind of view that is the music in a dream. We're in second summer, it was our anniversary and the hotel lobby, veranda, bar and pub were PACKED. It tells you something... OH THAT VIEW! Soaking in the last sips of summer feels. Walking into Stars and turning towards the windows, you feel all the feels. And with Jose as our steward for the evening - magic. And now the wheels start falling off the bus. Because in a restaurant that thinks highly of itself, with an award-winning wine list, the uniform on many of the servers looked liked they weren't fitted properly, and as picky as that may sound, when you have the prices you charge, every single detail matters. Prices are hair-raising but it is the vibe for the restaurant. The bread service, at $16 was fantastic. The baking team nailed it. The foie gras was so ethereal making a heavy product like the foie light and airy. The staff was LOVELY. Even if some needed better fitting. I ordered the Halibut - receiving an appetizer size piece of fish that was COLD, with beautiful petite veggies. Perfectly seasoned, but cold. My husbands super petite piece of duck? DELISH, but COLD. The temperature was just off. And I am sorry - in a restaurant like this, where IF an A-LISTER walked in the food would be flawless, that thinks highly of itself can't afford to let a single dish go without the love. I can't blame Alex, the super elegant and charming manager - he answers to a higher calling. The owners, the higher level management... cmon. Give the team what they need to make it flawless for EVERYONE that walks in through the door. Everyone is a VIP regardless of their net worth. Cold entrees, not cool. I'm sorry people, but not cool.

We sit at the bar and after 5 minutes or so, we place our drink order. So far so good. We then place our app order. Stuffed quahog and the Portugese Littlenecks. Nothing too ground breaking here. Littlenecks cook in about 6 minutes and I am sure the quahog is ready to be popped in the oven on the prep line. 45 minutes later, no apps. Bartender is back in the kitchen 3 times. Still no apps. We get to talking to a local resident next to us who ordered a salad with salmon, and she says that this was her second try at the restaurant as well and no realizes why she never came back. Her salad took about an hour. For a salad... Ok, so now we place dinner. Well we should have just paid at that point and gone to the Squire for a burger cause now we wait another hour for our dinners. Which when they come out are ice cold. Mind you we had baked cod and a pasta dish. Neither of those should take more than 20 minutes to prep. We have now been in this place over 2 hours and didn't get to eat a dinner. What a huge disappointment. Sad thing is this place can get away with bad service because they are attached to an inn in downtown. So people will never stop eating there. But hopefully with a few more bad reviews, they will figure something out or close.
