OMG...the fudge is phenomenal. I stopped in here and got a pound of fudge for $12. You can pick up to 4 flavors. I got the fluff-n-nutter, sea salt, pumpkin walnut and Reese cup. The sea salt was my absolute favorite, followed by the fluff-n-nutter. They had a ton of other sweets so stop in if you are in the area! read more

Milk chocolate covered apricots are highly recommended. I went here TWICE on the same day. :)) And yes, it is pricey. But ... truffles tend to be pricey. read more

I'm a chocoholic but a picky one, and rarely think that sweets are worth the calories. However, these definitely are ........ so delicious and fresh. I ordered the Valentine box assortment for myself, and am not disappointed. And they came beautifully wrapped for my Valentine- me! read more

It doesn't get much better than this. What a variety of fun candy! From old-time favorites like Razzles and Pop Rocks, to their own chocolates... YUMMY! Hard to pick favorites. Love the chocolate covered cranberries, gummies, hard candies... And the gift packages of the homemade stuff (shells, fish, lobsters, sharks, etc.) are not only adorable, but delicious! Gets busy, but the lines move fast. One warning, I would not get the candy behind the glass, stick with the prepackaged stuff that is bagged when fresh. The stuff we just got from behind the glass (chocolate covered marshmallows and caramels) were hard and stale, like they've been there a while. Not an issue ever in the 20+ years we've been going there with their other stuff! read more

Excellent chocolates and fudge. Welcome curbside pickup in 2020. The best real peppermint candy canes ever, unlike the plastic-like kind from the grocery store. Recommended. read more

This is the only candy store I will ever shop at. Absolutely the best candy store there is. The service, the attention to detail and the atmosphere blows all other candy stores out of the water. read more

This place is great. Everything they make is absolutely delicious and they always seem to be coming up with new treats. My family has been going down to the cape every summer for the past 5 years or so and making a trip to the Candy Manor is always a highlight. Each time we've gone in, they have had a new kind of chocolate that I have never been disappointed by. The staff inside are very sweet (pun intended) and always give out free samples - make sure to try whatever type of fudge they are trying that day. Recently, we moved to a new apartment and one of our friends sent us a box of sweets from the Candy Manor in the mail. It had different types of chocolate caramels and 'candy bacon' as we call it. (Don't think this is the actual name, but they are sugary licorice strips that are oh so addicting). I wasn't aware that the Candy Manor did mail-order packages like this, but I was pleasantly surprised. My friend who ordered it said the process was very easy and would definitely do it again. read more

The Chatham Candy Manor is a truly special place to visit. A staple to hit on Main Street when visiting, especially whenever I have friends in town! The hand dipped chocolates and fudge are delicious, and they have all my classic candy favorites. I had a great experience putting together a Candy Bar for my wedding. The staff helped our ideas come to life while guiding us with best practices, making it easy and perfect for our guests. Now, I also often order online for gifts to friends and family that don't live near and their new website has made it incredibly easy! read more

We have been coming here for years, the best candy shop we've been to on the Cape. Not quite as fun during COVID, as they are very strict on the number of people in the store at once (which is good!), but cuts down on the carnival atmosphere a little. Fudge is great, we tried their fantasy this year and it's even better! Chocolate-covered everything is so good, I'm partial to almonds and cranberries, my son loves chocolate-covered gummies. This is where we come to get souvenirs for friends and coworkers, no one is ever disappointed! read more

Oh, what would the cape be without lots of candy shops? Sad, that's what. We stopped in here to see if we could find some treats to bring home for Dorian, and we did. There are cases and cases of chocolate confections, and bins of loose gummy and hard sugar candy (yes, it's priced steeply at $8 a pound) and there's something for everyone. We walked out with a bag of mystery chocolates, and some dipped Oreos for Dorian, for the bargain price of $15. We were happy we stopped in. Definitely a place to stop for those with a sweet tooth. The service was really friendly and they really wanted to help, which is always nice. read more

Super cute candy shop! Friendly staff and great prices! The Halloween candies were extra cute. Free fudge samples when you go in.

Typically I don't do reviews but this place deserved one. The staff always greet you with a welcoming smile and have a cheerful vibe. Someone is always available to answer questions or help you choose among the vast array of assortments. I've only been a handful of times, but this is among my favorite places to visit on the Cape. Personally I prefer the coffee chocolate caramels and the malted milk balls. read more

Can't miss! Excellent little candy store. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of homemade candies and chocolates as well as prepackaged favorites from your childhood. We bought a one pound box of chocolates we picked out. It was so hard to choose because so many sounded good! We also got some suckers for our daughter, who was quite happy with them. The chocolates were fantastic! And this is coming from someone who's husband has manufactured chocolate before. The chocolate was a nice blend, not too sweet but just sweet enough. The nuts were huge in the clusters we got. The only con was we couldn't stop eating them and the box didn't last long enough! Can't wait to go back! read more

Stopped by this candy store today. I had the dark chocolate turtle fudge and cranberry penouch at $10 a pound.. After having a small taste of each I promptly threw the rest away. It was wretchedly sweet and artifual tasting and barely even tasted like chocolate. My friend had the mini jelly fruit slices for $6 for a one pound bag. He said " They were artificially flavored and colored. After four pieces I had a belly ache. At least the were soft." They had lot's of other things we didn't try, including things they didn't make. Perhaps try those things first. Shit in nice boxes is still shit. read more

Mmmm. Candy. I am not a fan of Newport, RI, Cape Cod, Southhampton, or any other shi-shi, super-white vacation destinations that my family/boyfriend's family like to drag me to. But I do like chocolate. The main attraction here is the fudge. Creamy, delicious, made on-premises, and tons of flavors make it my favorite fudge in the world. I love the chocolate raspberry variety the most, but the peanut butter kind is good, too. Milk chocolate bark and milk chocolate dipped marshmallows get honorary awards. These are also good. Service ain't the bomb- high school kids literally do their math homework behind the counter. But hey- good chocolate is worth it. read more

Got here in time for half price valentines day candy. Winning! The chocolates and gummy candies are great. The fudge samples are worth a stop every time you're in town. read more

A candy store worth driving to, even in the dead of winter. The fudge here is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the classic chocolate walnut. I had a sample of the penouche- I had no idea fudge could be that tasty if it wasn't chocolate. Can't wait to go back. read more

Best fudge on the Cape, hands down. And they give you a knife in your fudge box! Salt water taffy is also good -- I've discovered that the taffy tastes really good when you are in a hot humid environment. read more

I'm a huge fan of the Candy Manor and I've been going since I was a little kid. The chocolate dipped fruit is amazing--(yes i agree pineapple is awesome). I'm also a fan of the chocolate covered cranberries and on special days when they have hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries, I'm in heaven. read more

This place gets crazy busy, but the staff keeps smiles on their faces and hustles along! Our family lives this place, their selection, and their candy cane demonstrations! read more

normally I would give a candy store less props for a lack of selection on actually candy (which this place does kinda have) but It gets a hella more props for having such decadent fudge and chocolates. They had a whole case filled with different kinds of turtles alone (I say go for the tropical tortoise and the caramel turtle surprise. ) then they have a mile long counter of fresh fudge. I'm not talking whatever tasting kinda fudge, I'm talking the real deal here. The peanut butter fudge was serious heaven. The chocolate was too. the turtle fudge was out of this world. not too sugary, not too buttery, but just right. Oh my god I am still in heaven over it all. what they were lacking was an adequate selection of the sugary candies. They did have a few jelly belly beans, but not a good selection, same with salt water taffy. nostalgic candies also didn't' get a good portion of real estate there, but again, the chocolates make this place!!! small but yummy! read more

Maybe my favorite candy shop of all time. I have been coming here for years and feel like a little kid every time i walk in. Stop reading this and get yourself to the candy manor read more

Chatham Candy Manor - Candy Stores Near Me - Chatham, Massachusetts

Salt water taffy here is an abomination. Truly. Old, stale, crusty, fake flavors, absolutely horrific. You should try the Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy store in South Yarmouth. You can watch them make it there using the old fashioned method. Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy was reviewed in several Cape Cod publications as the best on the Cape. It would be much better than this sorry excuse for candy. read more

No trip to the Cape is complete without a stop to the Chatham Candy Manor. Charming shop and delicious candy! Our personal faves are the fudge (best anywhere!) and the variety of bark (almond and cashew barks in milk, dark and white chocolate), and saltwater taffy. But every visit introduces us to new favorites (love the seasonally decorated nonpareils). Some reviewers say it's pricey, but it is absolutely worth it. You will not find better quality or variety than at the Chatham Candy Manor. And, if you are not on the Cape, Chatham Candy Manor ships! Check out their website! I just thrilled my family with a lovely box of assorted fudge for Valentine's Day. Arrived lovingly wrapped in their trademark pink box with red tissue and red ribbon...just as fresh as if we had purchased it right at the store. Thank you, Chatham Candy Manor!! read more

Great little old fashioned candy shop in the lovely town of Chatham. The pound candy selection consisted of a good mixture of the oldies and newbie goodies ranging from sour worms to caramel candies. The prices are a bit steep but it's in line with the area. Worth a stop if your in town. read more

Regardless of when you go into this candy store, be prepared for it to be packed. Love the chocolate, but the prices have jumped a lot - crazy. read more

Best salt water taffy I've ever had. They melt in your mouth! The peanut butter flavor is my favorite...tastes just like a Mary jane candy, but you wont break a tooth! The prices are a little steep, but I find candy stores usually are, especially in a tourist town. read more

Walk into the Candy Manor and take a whiff. That smell is how everything tastes. The chocolate is delicious (as is everything else) and everything is made on-site. During the holiday season they pull their own candy canes and in the autumn you can special order gigantic caramel apples. They have a huge selection of fudge, barks, and dipped fruit as well as a wall of penny candy. The Candy Manor is a Chatham staple! read more

An old-timey candy shop in downtown Chatham. They have everything from jelly bellys to "penny candy" (which hasn't been a penny since my parents were kids) and homemade fudge which is to DIE for. During my most recent visit I tried the fantasy chocolate sea salt fudge - amazing. They also have fudge samples at the cash register so make sure to grab a few freebies! read more

Best chocolate fudge and candy store ever! Get the chocolate covered Oreos, they are revolutionary! Other greats are chocolate covered pretzels and the nut clusters. read more

I grew up on the Cape, often visiting Chatham Candy Manor. I was here tonight with my family, and while the chocolate is still amazing (the sole reason for the 3 stars), the kids who work there need an attitude check. You are serving people candy- there's no need for the attitude. Throwing candy on a counter won't help your day go by any faster. read more

Rating 4 - I am a fan. I will continue to go once a year. I enjoy the Fantasy fudge. Service is standard service, service arrived to ask if I needed anything just when I was about to decide I didn't. Further, I would be very appreciative if customer service actually displayed some enjoyment for assisting customers. Prices are high - six half-dollar-ish sized rectangle coconut marshmallows for $4.50. read more

Everything at The Candy Manor tastes as delicious and it smells. The chocolates are made on site and scrumptious. Take advantage of their seasonal treats- specifically their caramel apples in the fall. You need to special order them but they are so so worth it.
