This time just as wonderful. All the home made salt water taffy is still miles above anything else out there. This time we also picked up some chocolate covered caramels and the fresh buttery caramel really stands out, the real stuff is like nothing else and the chocolate is outstanding. It is expensive. This place is not the same as the candy stores overflowing with well known brands of mass produced candy so if the kids want that pick it up at a grocery store then head here for grown up luxury and real salt water taffy, it is totally worth it. read more

I am a huge fan of Stage Shop Candy! They have an amazing, delicious selection and it helps that they provide me with at least one sample every time I walk into the store. The staff is as sweet as their chocolates! We had our wedding in Dennis Port, so it only made sense to provide our guests with the gift of a Stage Shop chocolate! We chose sailboats and anchors in milk and dark chocolate with lavender bows and they turned out so cute! Our guests loved them! Highly recommend! read more

Stage Stop Candy is an elite candy store. I wish that there was a candle that could smell like the inside of this store. This is my favorite and only candy shop that I visit while on vacation in Dennis Port. Their packages of chocolate covered cookie dough and chocolate covered orange peels are unmatched- and one bite brings me back to my childhood vacations. They also have peanut/ tree nut allergy safe options available! Staff is friendly and they offer free samples of fudge/ truffles when you're walking around shopping. 10/10 would recommend- this is a great place to grab treats for yourself or for others! read more

Lot of choices of candy, pleasant and attentive staff, and they accept credit cards. They have several small rooms and open entry we're offered a chocolate sample. Lots of parking, and a quaint house in Cape Cod. What could be better? I loved the chocolate sample but bought gum drops and Swedish fish. read more

The best on the Cape ! We have been coming to Stage Stop for fudge and candy for over a decade. The ownership has changed once; however, the recipes and quality continue with the new family. They have shipped gifts for us and put together special packages for events. My wife likes the variety of fudge flavors, and my son has always been drawn to the chocolates and jelly's in different shapes. There is also a wide selection of candy that is "sugar free;" a benefit if you are buying for a diabetic friend or family member. Stage Stop has the best candy and fudge on the Cape and we will return. read more

The best candy shop on the Cape ! I have come here with my parents since i was a child. Back then i loved their gummy candy. The big dinosaur ones were my choice. We also always get fudge and peanut brittle. The wonderful people who took over the shop from the founder's have carried on the quality and tradition of fine candy. Friendly, clean, smallish shop. Chocolates okay. Basic fare (lots of commercial stuff and not all-natural which is our preference) but, having said that, the chocolate covered Twinkies and Oreos were good. read more

So I have never been to this candy shop but I was sent a gift box all the way across the country. It was filled with chocolate and peanut brittle..and well tons off goodness. They even seemed to use colorful yummy taffy as packing peanuts- the banana taffy was the best. Opening the box was like being smacked by willy wonka. If they put as much care into a box of treats I bet they would take great care of you at their shop. read more

If I could give this no stars, I would. Today I went into Stage Stop Candy with my service dog. Upon entering the building, I was immediately stopped by the owner himself who told (not asked) me to take my service dog outside. When I informed him that by law, I can take my service dog (almost) anywhere, he stated that he didn't want to get in trouble with the health inspector and asked me to leave again. I then proceeded to leave, not because he told me to, but because I refuse to spend my money in a shop owned by such an ignorant person. They may have a handicap ramp, but they are not handicap friendly, and I will NEVER give them my business. Definitely best chocolates ever! I thought my friend was exaggerating when he said this place had the best chocolates around when a group of my friends and I went down to the cape for a mini weekend vacation, but I kid you not, this place is even better than Godiva's. I couldn't stop eating their milk chocolate almond bark. Their chocolates are absolutely delicious. Feels expensive. My husband called it a sucker shop. Not a big place, but entertains the kids. Kids ate candy all the way home.

The assortment of in-house made candy here is boggling. They resell plenty of classic candies not made in house, but their own creations are the reason to come. I've had some great flavored truffles here, like margarita, berry, and lemon curd off the top of my head. They look good too - I even got one shaped like Buddha! Wonderful shop, candy, homemade chocolate, workers, and owner! We called ahead to see if they could accommodate my son with celiac and when we got there the owner came out, showed us around the shop, and made sure we knew what was processed on which machines so we wouldn't risk cross contamination. We felt so well taken care of and walked out with loads of yummy chocolates and candies! Thank you!!! We'll always come back here when we visit the Cape! read more
