We had such a great experience at Candy Manor! The Oreo fudge was amazing, and I especially loved the milk chocolate-dipped orange slices. We also loved the milk chocolate Baileys and Kahlúa balls, both were delicious! The guy working at the fudge bar was great and let us try lots of different samples, which made the experience even more fun. There were so many different treats to choose from, and everything we tried was really good. Definitely a fun stop while visiting the Cape! We really enjoyed it and would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're in the area. Nostalgic for sure here. read more

What a sweet lil shop! Staff was delightful! So many delicious handmade chocolates...we settled on some delicious fudge!!! So fresh, they give samples so it helps to make the decision!! read more

When you consider the quality of Chocolate the Chocolate Diva sets out in farmers markets, the taste of the chocolate in their confections falls flat. That said, it's a lovely beach town candy shop and their fudge isn't as in-your-face sweet as others. The staff is sweet (all pun intended). The place is small and if you happen not to have children, you probably don't wanna go in when it's mobbed with little children giddy with excitement to get their candy. It truly brings out the kid in all of us. Tons of sugar to choose from! (i'm just a stickler when it comes to the taste and texture of chocolate, but may this review not reflect on the offer offering and the lovely staff!) Tiny - if you're claustrophobic send somebody else in! read more

Super friendly staff that is extremely helpful when choosing fudge or chocolates! They let you try the fudge before you buy it, and the smallest size you can purchase is 1/4 pound. One pound is $18. They have all kinds of flavors like oreo, white chocolate oreo, turtle, peanut butter, chocolate mint, cappuccino, etc. They have a line of dark chocolate options called Fantasy - they have mint, raspberry and sea salt. You can pick the chocolates and make your own bag, or you can purchase bags they have pre-made. This is everything from turtles, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered crasins, espresso beans, etc. read more

Still the best candy spot. They are celebrating 70 years this year They seemed to have a lot more chocolates this year than I've noticed before. The gummy candies and taffy are along the wall and everything else is various chocolate items: Chocolate covered nuts, cranberry, boxed chocolates etc . as well as the normal chocolates behind the glass counter. read more

Wonderful staff. Stop here and get the creamiest fudge ever. I don't know if made on site but there was a man behind the counter churning something and they were serving top notch fudge. read more

I ordered 2 boxes of this brand to try.The soft cream filled had no discernable taste from candy to candy.I expected definite flavors like orange or raspberry but yhey ALL tasted the same....bland.The assorted chocolates weren't very good either although they were not real sweet either.I wouldn't waste my money on these again. read more

Love this place. Fabulous dark chocolates and sublime caramels. Can't wait for next trip to Chatham!!!

Every time I visit Chatham, I always make time to stop at Candy Manor. Every small town on the East Coast has their candy shop, but I think this is one of the best. They make tons of cute candies, and all different shapes like lobsters and seashells. They also make tons of fresh chocolate candies, like truffles, turtles, and homemade peanut butter cups. But my all-time favorite thing here... Are the milk chocolate sea salt caramels. They are my absolute favorite sea salt caramels I've ever had. The chocolate is tempered perfectly, the caramel has an amazing flavor and texture, and they're salty enough so that the flavor is very balanced. Tons of people come for the fudge too - I'm not really a fudge girl. This shop is always busy. Make sure to stop in! read more

I will not buy again. Sees candy is so much better. Way too much money for the quality you get. I threw it away.

Their dark chocolate is rich and smooth, and they have a nice choice of fillings. My orders were delivered in perfect condition and when expected. Try Chatham Candy Manor when you are looking for a good selection! read more

This review is for an online order. This is the only chocolate company that doesn't seal their box. The chocolate arrived completely loose in the box, out of the wrappers and a crushed piece. I'm just glad I decided to try a box before I bought them for Christmas gifts. read more

Oompa. Loompa. doom-pa-dee-do I have a perfect candy store for you! All kinds of salt water taffy, fudge, chocolate. They even have fluffernutter fudge - the most NE thing I've seen since moving to the East Coast. The staff are friendly, helpful, and gracious with offering samples of treats you may be interested in. This is definitely a shop we will visit again when back in Chatham. read more

Pretty impressed with the haul we got from this company. Decided to go with them for our Easter basket. Got a selection of gummies, Easter themed, sour, and regular, along with a chocolate bunny (because you have to; I think that's an Easter requirement) and their Easter gift pack, which included chocolate eggs, large malted milk chocolate balls, and chocolate covered marshmallow peeps (wow!). Was very pleased at the option to choose either dark or milk chocolate for the items - this basically NEVER happens. Usually, you have to sift through the offerings and just figure it out. And the dark chocolate Easter bunny is delish (yes we started early). The sour gummies are not as sour as I'd hoped (which could be a good thing for some); but my husband is now devoted to the sugar dusted gummies and wants only them for the foreseeable future - luckily, the prices are also more than reasonable. Packaging was very professional and careful. Everything arrived in great condition. As you can tell, must order again to keep hubby rolling in gummies. Thank you! read more

This place is too much fun. The selection of packaged candies and chocolates is really extensive and the service is really helpful. The chocolate covered Oreos are amazing, as are the chocolate buttercreams. Lots of different fun candy too - like candy Lego pieces, chocolate lobsters, etc. COVID: Very socially distanced, limited the number of patrons in the store to about 4 at a time. The line did take a while (20-30 min), but it was worth it. Feels like you have the whole store to yourself. Really clean (masks, gloves for everything). read more

Went in there yesterday to pick up a pound of chocolates (hand selected). $36- for a pound of chocolates? I walked out. Their candy is very good, but way too expensive for my taste. read more

Took our daughter here and it did not dissapoint. They have a huge candy selection. They have a selection of more sugary/gummy candy which you pick out yourself, my daughter got a selection of that. Then the chocolate candies are behind the counter. My husband and I got that. We got the chocolate covered Oreos, peanut butter cup, caramels, and Oreo cream. Everything was delicious. Prices weren't too crazy. Employees were nice. Fun place to take kids, I would come back. read more

I've been coming here since I was a kid in the 80s. My dad has been coming longer than that. This is not a place to go for just a cheap quick sugar fix. This is a place to really treat yourself, almost like a little short cameo at Willy Wonkas factory (Gene Wilder not Johnny Depp). Watching them make the fudge is half the fun of it for me. The store has all the best candies, from stuff you love but can rarely find (Chuckles) to an amazing selection of unique items like sour gummy lobsters or beautiful chocolate shells. I don't care about the price. It's a treat for me and the kids. Cheaper than Disney world and probably more enjoyable. read more

I have loved The Candy Manor ever since I was a little girl (and now I am 70!). Everything they make is wonderful and top quality. Almost every year I order gifts from them through their website and they always are shipped quickly and arrive beautifully. Thank you so much! read more

This place is a must-visit while in Chatham if you or anyone in your life has a sweet tooth! Candy Mansion has a spectacular assortment of sugary confections to appease sugar cravings. The shop sells many cute, symbolic of the coastal area, and even festive (tons of Fourth of July geared sweets) candy. The house made fudge is a fan favorite and really is a must-by if you enjoy fudge; they have a large flavor variety to choose from. The price point can be a tad high but in quaint Chatham, there are virtually no other options. The staff is very helpful and handles the crowds very well. I definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area and need a sugar boost (most especially after spending a fee days with kids down the Cape) or you just really want to see a cool specialty store. Enjoy!!! read more

Wonderful candy store in Chatham. Huge selection of candy from handmade chocolate to gummy bears and everything in between. The store was completely packed when I was there and they somehow took my order of chocolate and checked me out in a fast orderly fashion. The also had self checkout with a scale too. Absolutely delicious!! Wonderful fudge and very friendly service. Will definitely be ordering online once we return home

Two stars for a fun place with a friendly staff! A fellow diner from around the corner sung their praises so we tried it out. We only ever buy fudge at candy shops. And we always stop in for fudge anywhere we spot it. Judging from the overwhelmingly positive reviews it must have been a bad selection or a bad batch, but the two flavors (chocolate marshmallow & penuche) we tried tasted like artificially flavored soft sugar. It left a bad aftertaste behind. We threw it all away. Sorry guys, but fudge is not your forte. read more

Great!!! Candies. Long history here in Chatham. We and our grandchildren love them.

What more can you want? Candy, chocolates, fudge - it's a paradise for children and adults alike. The fudge is delicious, lots of great chocolate candy options to mix and match. There are some fun candy options if chocolate isn't your thing (but I'm not sure who doesn't love chocolate!) Staff is friendly and helpful, a great atmosphere. read more

Old school candy maker, chocolatier, and fudge emporium! BAM!!! We were looking to fulfill a daughter request for saltwater taffy. In the summer months easy. In the winter months, not so easy, unless you stop at the Chatham Candy Manor. Not made in this shop, but locally. And in the corner, there were the bags. Of course, we had a happy camper arriving back home. We of course, couldn't walk out of this Eden of Sweets without a few pouches of various hand picked chocolates, valentine chocolate dipped peep style hearts, and frrrrrrresh fudge. Samples were also had! Take note of the back kitchen area where the magic happens and also notice the fully functional antique fudge pot stove near the front window. This all kicked me back on a nostalgia trip. The sugar buzz probably added to the euphoria. read more

Will need to be neutral about the product for now as I haven't yet tried it. This company is exemplary. The candy is exceptional. I ordered the toffee and the turtles and have never tasted better candy. We lived in Chatham for many years and moved away about 6 years ago. Decided to order a large assortment box and a small box of chocolates with caramel and nuts. This is no where near the same quality and taste of the chocolates we used to get there. Honestly, Whitman's is better. Some of nuts had a bit of a rancid taste and the taste of the chocolate--both milk and dark--were quite bland. Very disappointed. read more
