    Frozen Hot Chocolate

Chocolate Cafe is a cafe and chocolaterie that opened in Eastham, Massachusetts in 2005. It was founded by Elaine Gremila. In June 2018, the cafe reopened in a larger location down the street from their original. The cafe has a 1950s diner theme and serves a variety of treats including homemade chocolates, truffles, pastries, fudge, gourmet coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, frappes, and an assortment of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. In addition to the edible treats, the cafe also carries an eclectic variety of cards and gifts. My family and I visited Chocolate Cafe this past August during our week-long trip to the Cape. We stopped there for breakfast on our last morning, just before heading back to Connecticut. We really liked the interior which was loaded with all sorts of crazy treats and gifts. Our son looked over their selection of baked goods and picked out a delicious "Blueberry Crumb Yogurt Muffin" for himself. My wife and I ordered a couple of their yummy "Breakfast Sandwiches" (choice of bacon, sausage or Canadian bacon with egg & American cheese, served on an English muffin). My wife chose bacon for her meat while I opted for Canadian bacon. We washed everything down with some "Frozen Hot Chocolate", which doesn't taste like a chocolate milkshake but actual frozen hot chocolate if that makes any sense. We really enjoyed all of the treats that we sampled at Chocolate Cafe and would definitely stop there again on a future trip to the Cape.

What an amazing store! I went for a scone and I was overwhelmed by gorgeous chocolates, fun merchandise and a blast from the past. There was a nostalgic room with Elvis and old 50s living room set up,l. Loved it! The coffee and scones were amazing! I will definitely be back here next year! What a new find! Great little souvenirs too!

The location is slightly small for the business level. It was tight inside due to a lot of products in addition to the location overall size. However, breakfast was delicious and fresh!

We stopped in after hiking at Fort Hill. What a nice, quaint surprise to find an eclectic mix of candy, knickknacks, sweets, and a variety of menu selection to choose from. I had the double espresso ice cream. It was so good I wolfed it down before I realized I was done with it. Vicky had the mocha and shared the dark chocolate peanut butter cup with me.

Chocolate Cafe moved locations and took over the old Nauset Market. They've transformed the dark, dingy convenience story, into a bright, 50's diner inspired Candyland. Breakfast sandwiches are tasty, but expensive. Coffees are great. You can't miss it off Route 6 and convenient to the Railtrail as well.

This place was really disappointing. The chocolates weren't very good and the lady was dingy and rude.

You know those places where in your heart you know it's a tourist trap, but you just can't resist…read morethe lure? Yep, this is one of those places. You can immediately tell with the large red barn on the property, along with the kitschy children "rides" and mini golf lot on the same property, that this place just exists to take as much of your tourist dollars as possible Inside the Gif Barn you will find an amazing collection of dust collectors, tshirts, pet toys, magnets, fudge, outright tacky gifts, everything you could ask that screams "I was in vacation!!" It's AWESOME. I have been coming to this place since I was 10 years old, begging my parents to stop so we could get a totally useless souvenir. I can't tell you how many shells, shiny rocks, shell necklaces etc I have purchased here over the years. This trip was no different. It would not have been complete without a stop at the Gift Barn. What was a surprise was how outrageously priced everything is now. I guess since the majority of the items is "made in China", they get hit with the tariffs and so of course we the customer has to pay for them. It's sad as these used to be super affordable items you could spend as little as $20 and walk away with a bag full of memories. Still, it's a must stop for those who adore dust collectors, cheap jewelry, shells, shell necklaces etc. You will NOT be disappointed. Oh, and if you are here in season, the mini golf is loads of fun!

He argued with her and made her take her coat off and shake it out in the pouring rain (the coat she just PURCHASED at another souvenir shop mind you). It was a very gross experience and I don't think anyone should support this business ‼ I'd also like to add that I've literally never left a yelp review before, this experience was so horrible I had to make an account just to leave an honest review.

I ended up with a half dozen Wellfleet oysters, which were substantial (2 year olds?), fresh, and briny -- exactly what you want in a Wellfleet. The only downside: They came with a lot of shell bits in the brine. I get that these oysters are hard to shuck since they have those rough, irregular shells (a result of being buffeted by the rough waves in this area). But I can do a better job when I have my good shucking knife on me and I am far from an expert shucker. A Caribbean fish soup / stew was also quite enjoyable, though my impolite and poorly-brought-up progeny made gagging noises when I opened up the container of soup in the car. I guess he thought it smelled unpleasantly fishy. :) He did quite enjoy a creme brulee we found in a refrigerated case in the market, however. Pleasant outdoor seating; delicious-looking menu (some of which isn't as ridiculously overpriced as it is in much of the Cape); pristinely fresh seafood; and super nice staff. But I was a little surprised by how long it took for us to receive the soup, which presumably had already been prepared, when it wasn't busy at all. (I think it took about 15 minutes!)

It was a little less creamy than some NE chowders. Picnic tables where they give you a number and bring you your food, so good for kids, dogs, casual eating.
