I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Chasov and his team. We were upgrading our wiring to replace a gas stove with an induction range. Mr. Chasov provided a clear estimate, a fair price and did a great job communicating and coordinating with us on the project. Harry and Alex did the work and they were similarly competent and professional. We recommend this contractor without reservation- they are true professionals. read more

I recently got a bid for a project from a different electrical company that I was very unhappy with. Not only was the quote very high, but their suggested approach was extremely complex and would have involved tearing down walls and tearing my yard. Then I remembered that I'd had a positive experience with Chasov Electric several years ago so I reached out. Michael came out to inspect our property and immediately proposed a much simpler and more cost effective solution. He took photos on his tablet and sent mockups of his proposed design in advance. Harry and Alex completed the project and they were delightful to work with. They arrived on time, confirmed details and decisions with me throughout the day, and carefully inspected all their work prior to departing. I'm very happy with how the work turned out. I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism and creativity of Chasov Electric. They are true engineers and "electrical magicians." I would definitely recommend them, especially for any projects requiring creative or complex electrical solutions! read more

Helped me on an electrical setup for a new space. They educated me on options and best way to go. They did it when the space was ready to go. Perfect work. They came back up finish the work and everything has been great. Can't thank them enough. Great job. read more

Chasov Electrical is an excellent team to work with. We had to complete work for our condo conversion and Michael was quick to come out and walk through the project with me. Victor, Demetrio, and Alex got started within a couple of days and the work was done ahead of schedule. They showed up on time and were very responsive. The work was done very well. Thank you everyone! read more

Thanks to Michael for rectifying my issues with the previous job very promptly. The huge holes in my bathroom were patched up and the job was finished yesterday. Michael called me for a follow up and gave a very thorough explanation of how jobs, like the one I had, are supposed to be done. For the owner of the company to provide such EXCELLENT customer service/customer recovery is a great reflection of the company. Furthermore, I am using Chasov Electric again for another possible job on the house-depending on how the consultation goes if it needs to be done. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. read more

Harry and Alex have gone above and beyond with their work. They are great at communicating when and where they will show up (and will show up on time or sometimes even a little early), what type of work they have been doing, and what you need to do going forward for maintenance if necessary. When I say they went above and beyond, I mean that my housemate accidentally blew a fuse on New Year's Day, and Harry and Alex were at the house within 15 minutes to identify the issue and fix it, and we haven't had any issues since then. It was incredible. They also handled a potential headache with the permitting office and got everything done quickly and with minimum hassle on my end. I love their professionalism and will be happy to hire them again. read more

Victor Gorbachev of Chasov Electic just left my place after ticking off several electrical tasks I laid out for him like he was a machine! The speed, confidence, and efficiency with which he acknowledged and resolved my electrical problems was truly impressive. He was in and out of my home in record time. The owner, Michael Chasov, came out the next day after calling him and then said he could have a man (Victor) come out later that day to fix everything. Everything promised was delivered. I am so happy I could scream or Yelp! Chasov Electric also received the Diamond Certified Award and I completely understand why. If you want totally competent, efficient, low cost, Electricians, I highly recommend you contact Chasov Electrical. Michael responded to my call same-day and quickly diagnosed the that the problem we had with our lights flickering and furnace not working was on the PG&E line. This allowed me to get PG&E out quickly and even though they didn't believe me at first, turns out Michael was right! Thanks again! read more

We wanted to post appreciation of Chasov's owner and his referred rep Dmitri Jermoljev. Chasov concentrates on construction jobs, but has resources for residential and homeowners. They were prompt, good problem solvers, treated us with a well organized approach, presented reasonable solutions and were in the $$ range for professional licensed electricians (versus handyman range, no knock against handypersons). Initial contact was friendly, professional, low pressure, not distracted, and they were available even though busy elsewhere. We ended up getting a package from our neighbor's contractor (all crew are on site this month - carpentry, tile, electrical, plumber), for several services we needed last minute. Chasov presented a trustworthy, responsive contact in all our interactions which is why we're posting here. Main point: Both Chasov and Dmitri were good communicators, presented solutions clearly and were familiar with and had confidence in handling issues any homeowner of a San Francisco has to contend with due to the mix of contractor and vendor skill levels out there. Check the other positive reviews and consider them. Thanks Dmitri and Michael Chasov! read more

The previous owners of our house hired Chasov to wire the backyard spa. We recently lost power to the tub and I called up Michael Chasov to find the problem and repair it. The problem ended being a simple reset button due to the thorough wiring that his crew had originally installed. It may take a few days for them to schedule a visit but Michael was prompt, pleasant, and thorough. read more

We found Chasov Electrical in the Good Services Guide several years ago after purchasing our home in West Portal. I have had years of ROCK STAR service from Chasov Electrical. Michael Chosov has been quick to come to our house to support a number of on-going projects. I have a direct mobile number for one of his electricians and work with him directly to schedule work. They are fast, responsive, reliable, affordable and very very courteous. I absolutely love Michael, Maksim and the guys who have worked on our house. Of all of the services we have experienced Chasov Electrical is one of the most dependable and one of the services I would be most enthusiastic about referring. I have, and would recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work. read more

I interviewed three electrical contractors to upgrade the circuitry in my San Francisco row house. Michael Chasov was the last. He was the only 'diamond certified' contractor of the three, and his web site was much more polished and professional than that of the others - for whatever that's worth, as a nice web site design hardly guarantees a good contractor. I felt just a bit nervous about hiring him. Michael is a fluent English speaker, but English isn't his native language, and I fretted about a couple of small miscommunications during our consultation. I would be contracting with him for critical electric circuitry; any potential for misunderstanding worried me. But he was so obviously sharp that I decided to push these concerns aside, and am now quite glad I did. The crew arrived at 8:00 on the dot and finished earlier than expected. I can't judge their work as an electrical expert could, but, for what it's worth: I was impressed by every aspect of what they did in my home. Their installation of the new wiring was much more thorough than I expected, and Victor did a terrific job of explaining the scope of the work after they were through. The full name of the company is 'Chasov Electrical, Voice & Data.' Michael seemed thoroughly familiar with the internet plumbing required to network a home; he might be an excellent contractor to work with on such a project. read more

Love this place! I have used them twice for electrical issues in my condo. They are very responsive! Dmitri was scheduled to come over. He was very prompt. He's friendly and very knowledgeable. The repair required a new part and that part was obsolete. They found a replacement part and notified me when it was in. The actual repair was done in a short time. Excellent customer service! read more

Had an emergency repair for outside light fixture. They were fast and charged a very reasonable fee. I would use them again for electrical work for sure. read more

Michael is a genius. Pure and simple. He helped diagnose an electrical wiring problem between my condo and my neighbor's condo that was in existence since the place was built 35 years ago. Very professional, direct, and honest. I wish all contractors I hired were of this caliber! read more

Outstanding service. Michael Chasov himself answered my call. Since he was busy, he took my information and told me he would call back within the hour. Imagine my surprise when he had someone actually stop by my home in that time frame. The problem was fixed rapidly, and the fee was extremely reasonable. read more

Great work! We just bought a house last year and were told during the inspection we needed a panel upgrade since the fuse panel was a Federal and known to cause fires. Michael himself came out for an estimate and worked on trying to fix another problem with a short we had. He could not fix the short and did not charge us.(Not sure what you are talking about Lucile) Also, the guys who came out to perform the work were quick efficient and professional. I would recommend Chasov Electrical and will use them again. read more

Found Chasov in Diamond Certified and Good Service Guide. Read reviews on Yelp and sure enough, Chasov lives up to its reputation. Michael returned our call right away. Alex came on time, described what he'd do and the price (we had an outdoor motion activated light installed in front side alley). Reasonable price, very efficient and cordial. read more

A circuit went down and resetting the circuit breakers didn't help. I called Chasov and he talked me through two of the things that most commonly go wrong. It was the second, and we have power throughout the house now. Chasov is top of my list now for our upcoming job when we redo our knob and tube! read more
