This review is for the Chase Club that allows access to events and games spectators who sit in section 2-23, not to be mistaken with the Chase Lounge where cardholders (regardless of game or event seating) may enjoy a pregame drink and snacks when checking in).
Been to the one in Oakland before our NBA team moved here.
A friend wanted to experience having seats in a court side section and enjoy the perks from having them. We came here for a midweek Valkryies game arriving a little after the doors opened at 5:30 pm. Being newbies, we were glad the security staff and ushers are helpful in guiding us on the logistics. After entering from the box office side entrance, we walked to the lounge entrance past the JP Morgan Club and took the escalator to the floor level where this lounge is. After showing our tickets to the greeters, we were given wrist bands () to show when entering.
The atmosphere is nice with multiple bars to the left and the dining area and food stations in the center and to the right. With the lounge already half full, we found a wall side, high top table before walking to the furthest food station to see what was available.
It is my preference to eat light, if at all, at games as I prefer not having a nature calling during the game. A drink and a light bite are what I usually have. My friend and gracious host didn't have lunch so he didn't hold back. I got the cheese quesadilla () with salsa and guacamole and a Pure Leaf Tea, my go-to at Chase Center. About halfway though eating, my friend went to the other food station and got a couple of other items, the pepperoni pizza bread () and a pasta bowl () for us to share. I apportioned a few bites of the pasta and ate a half slice of the bread. I am glad that said friend was able to finish all of the food.
As we ate, the tables and lounge filled up. The tables are pretty densely placed together so do be considerate of neighboring tables as guests come and go. There were TV screens with various sporting events (MLB and WNBA) above the bar. The restrooms are near the entrance, towards the court and to the right. Our cashier (shout out to Cal and Berkeley - Go Bears!) was friendly and observant in seeing my polo shirt. The greeters again were very helpful when I asked for restroom directions. Thanks to my generous friend for inviting me in this experience and meal. It is a nice perk for those who have seats in this section. read more
