Couldn't get in with my original spa so I tried this place. I booked a package and got a facial…read moreand massage but wasn't aware it 30 minutes each so only a hour for my services. My spas packages are usually a hour each service so I should have ask ahead of time. The bathroom and waiting area is outdated and not an actually lounge area to get ready for your services like other spas it's just a big room with some chairs to fill out the 100 questioned paperwork and the bathroom had items stored in the shower area and was very dusty. My real issue was with my facial, I did tell her I have sensitive acne prone skin and she said she was using products for sensitive skin but I did break out after, and while I was have my massage and facial at the same time she was going from my feet to then rubbing my face. I thought that was very weird and gross. So idk if I broke out because of her going from my feet to face or the products. I think if I ever book again it would only be for a massage because she did have a nice touch and all around nice lady.

Natural Path Wellness is located in downtown Ripon and has been around for quite some time. The…read morelobby area is jammed packed with different wellness products that are sure to appeal to everyone. The business offers massage, facials, waxing and detox services. I highly recommend visiting their website for details and pricing. If you are looking to book these services on a monthly basis they offer a monthly membership. The memberships will save you quite a bit of money over time. Memberships require a 1-year commitment and will roll over for three months after the membership expires. The perks of the membership: 10% off services and products. Priority booking for appointments and classes. I have found the ladies who work up front to be very pleasant and helpful. There are several different massage therapists to choose from. The ones I have used have been very professional and friendly. The biggest negative I have found can be scheduling. After booking certain dates/times, I have received call backs having to reschedule due to overbooking. This happened a handful of times which became a little frustrating. Overall, this is a great place to care for your wellness needs.

Three weeks ago I went to another hair salon in Ripon for hair extensions. I paid over $300 for a head full of glue and the look of a mullet (Billie Ray circa 1990). Melanie was a nice person. Unfortunately in NET / AK, the practitioner tends to say "your fear"…read more"your insecurity" and that is a horrible system. What that did was assign a negative label to that patient. What's worse to address the patient's name with the negative word, i.e.: Robert's fear, Robert's insecurity. Man, I'm bummed to have to update my review and I will not be returning. I have been going here for…read moreyears. I go multiple times throughout the year and have had amazing experiences. However, each of my last few visits have had small issues that, if they happened only once, I could have ignored. But, I can't really ignore the small issues anymore. I am not a confrontational person, so no, I did not say anything each time something happened because it felt nitpicky, until I realized that something was happening during every recent visit consistently. And overall, my experiences were still pretty good. One of the first times there was an issue with unprofessionalism it was something that made me uncomfortable. I once overheard the blonde lady, that's worked there for a long time, talking badly about someone's body that she had just given a Brazilian wax to. So, I noted to myself, to never get waxed there. The last several massages I've had there have been with the same person. And she's actually great. But some things have happened during my massages that have cut into my ability to relax. Every single massage for at least the last year, she has brought in what sounded like a metal container with iced water? And she repeatedly will refill a water bottle loudly during my massage with iced water and then constantly stop the massage to loudly drink from it with the ice in the metal bottle or cup clinking around. I have never seen what it is, because I am face down during the massage but that's what it sounds like. Multiple times I can hear this masseuse and have also caught other masseuses here texting or doing things on their phones during my massage. Let me preface this next one with, I am actually 420 friendly.... However, I am 99% sure during my most recent massage, she was hitting a vape. I smelled it MULTIPLE times during my massage. Normally doesn't bother me out in the real world... but during my massage??!! Also, when I walked in for my most recent massage, the owner, was who let me in. I said Hello, good morning to her. No response. Another thing worth noting is, their neighbors have LOUD barking dogs. I understand the spa cannot help this. But you can and will hear it during your massage. Something changed here. I am sad to have to go elsewhere.
