I love it here. Service for reflexology is excellent. Couples massage is also amazing, highly recommend. Very clean, friendly and organized read more

Staff is great and very professional. I called the day before looking for an appointment and was easily accommodated for two massages for the following morning. Can't remember my masseuses name but she was very good and felt all my kinks and worked them out. Right amount of pressure and paid attention to my problem area without me asking. My mom felt the same way about her masseuse and decided this will be her new massage place. read more

There are customer service was excellent very prompt when having a conversation beforehand the appointment once I arrive there, she explained the entire process it was clean and my massage therapist was David and he was phenomenal. Best massage I have had in a long time. Ask for Eddie and go for the full two hours. Front desk was super helpful and made you feel very comfortable and explained the process. You will be melting by the end of it. Medium by Eddie is really hard and the perfect amount of pressure. They don't need to know where to focus the massage on like typical massage places, believe me they will find it! read more

My daughter surprised me with a Mother's Day massage last Saturday. I was very excited and looking forward to it because my back has been hurting. The girl behind the desk, I think it was the owner was very polite. She explained the whole process to me & let me know if I need the therapist to go softer say softer and if harder go harder. So she gave me an American girl massage therapist. While the girl was very nice it was not the best massage. Massage was very painful. I had to keep telling her go softer. Like over 6 times. The face massage was nice. Legs , arms , & back super painful. Next day on Mother's Day I was getting ready and I noticed bruises all over my body. Especially on my legs. I definitely want to come back my daughter loves it her and always has good experiences. I will however ask for someone different. read more

Came here twice in one week lol, so it's safe to say I love this place :). Both times, the pressure was perfect, and even though I was worried about the hot stones, it didn't burn me at all and it definitely helped my muscles relax more. I got the full body massage both times, and it was perfect. They concentrated on my upper back which is where I usually hold my stress, and also massaged both legs, arms, hands, and even head, face, and shoulders. For 75 minutes, it was only like $93! What a steal :) I will definitely be back read more

The Body Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Modesto, California

My favorite massage in Modesto. Caring, compassionate, and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Finally found a great spot for a relaxing massage! It's a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it. They started with warm stones, which felt amazing. My husband and I booked last minute, and they were kind enough to accommodate us. My masseuse, LeAnn, was fantastic--she focused on all the areas I needed and really helped release the knots. My husband had Hannah, and he said she was great too. We both left feeling so much lighter and totally refreshed. Definitely planning to book again in a few weeks! read more

The Body Spa - Couples Full Body Massage - Day Spas Near Me - Modesto, California

The massage was great. But the lady at the front desk was absolutely horrible. They called me as I was parking. I had accidentally walked into the parlor in the shopping center next door. I told them I was in the parking lot. When I walked in the massage therapist was quiet with her head down. And the lady at the front desk had a huge attitude. She scolded me for being late and the massage therapist next to her looked extremely uncomfortable. I calmly told her that if she needed to reschedule, charge me extra or if I needed to leave that would be fine. I came there to relax not to be scolded. And she rudely said, no and that the therapist was ready to massage me if I was willing to be given a massage that was 10minutes shorter than what I was paying for. I agreed and never expected her to make up the time it took to drive one shopping center over. I didn't have the energy to give the front desk lady a piece of my mind. I stayed out of respect for the therapists time and tipped her at the end. Needless to say, I never returned. Despite how wonderful the massage was. I drive 40 minutes and pay double to the next couple towns over, monthly, just to never deal with how I was spoken to. And if it hadn't been for the embarrassed therapist avoiding eye contact, I would have left immediately. Unprofessional and emotionally immature staff. read more

It was so organized and smelled CLEAN and sanitized. The woman at the front was so friendly and helpful. Explained everything very clearly. The massage was amazing as well. I've had a lot of tension headaches lately and I left feeling SO RELAXED. She was on point with the pressure and adjusted as needed. I only got the hour massage, I believe the royal treatment? It was amazing but next time I will definitely be doing the 2 hour massage. Thanks again! See you guys soon. read more

They were able to accommodate myself and 2 family members at the same time for their hour long signature massage which was wonderful. The space is very clean and staff very professional. Very affordable for the service received. Felt very relaxed afterwards. Would definitely return. read more

With the new year, i'm trying to eat less junk and looking for a treat that wasn't food. I was lucky Body Spa had a few spots for walk in on a saturday. I got a 45 mins foot massage and scrub ($65). Space was clean and staff was professional. interestingly, my foot massage was done on massage table with head slightly raised. I asked for medium firm and it was spot on and very relaxing. The price was a tad more than I typically would pay but I think it was well worth it. (heated table, foot scrub, hot rocks, and massage!) i'm glad I splurge for the 45 mins (vs 30 mins) Will return and will recommend. read more

The best place I've been to in Modesto for Massage. Hot stones, heated beds, knowledgeable masseuse staff, really a legit place all around! Nice touch that they called to confirm my reservation the day before my appointment since I requested a masseuse with knowledge of kinesiology for a deep tissue issue that I have in my shoulders. I've booked additional appointments, so I am going back. read more

The massage therapists here really put the pressure on! I go regularly to get my massages here and they really listen to you and care about giving you a good quality massage. Price super reasonable too. read more

Simple and understated. Service is nice. I came with a horrible shoulder and neck tension from desk work strain. I could not take it anymore and I knew I needed a nice deep massage to release toxins in those areas. My therapist went right to work and concentrated on my shoulders and neck. I felt the tension melt away and she miraculously works her hands and my tension through my arms and released the pressure through my fingers. I went home and made sure I ate cleanly and lots of water. Not to be to detailed but my next bowels felt wonderful and my body felt clean. I booked a second appointment with her 2 weeks later and I felt the same great results. I will be going on a monthly visit to keep my neck tension at bay. read more

I'm so appreciative you were able to fit me in the same day. I woke up to my muscles so tight and painful and after a 2 hour massage with Clayton I (barely) walked out of there feeling like jello. It was the perfect combination of gentle but firm that made it pleasant when he got a knot out. Thank you again! read more

My husband was hurting from work and needed a massage. We were going to be in this area so I looked up to see what was around us. This place had pretty good reviews so we decided to call them. They were friendly and were able to get us in within the time frame that we needed on the same day. My husband said he got a lady named Sandy and she was great. He prefers deep tissue and he said she was hurting him but in a good way and will definitely be back. read more

We are avid massage getters and this is hands down the best place we have been to in years. I always have horrible knots on my shoulder blades and this is the only place where they get them and I walk away completely satisfied. We cannot wait to go again in a month. read more

The front desk service is impeccable. The owner was really helpful and friendly. The massages themselves were so good too. One complaint is that they don't spend any time on hands. I did ask for hand focus before the massage. Overall, it's been great the handful of times that I have gone there. read more

It was my mom's birthday, so I wanted to treat her with a relaxing day. We are new customers here and let me tell you that we had an amazing experience with the ladies! The front desk lady is very professional and so were the masseuse. Usually I am too shy to speak up, but they gave me reassurance and the comfort I needed. 10/10 will go again! Thank you! read more

First time coming here and I will be back. I called for a same day appointment and they had availability. I asked for the Royal Combination at 75 minutes, it was $90 and is a foot rub with scrub and hot stones as well as a full back rub. The receptionist Amanda, is fantastic. Fully explained communicating with the masseuse and made me very comfortable. She helped translate my problem areas with the masseuse before I went in. It was very clean, the bed was warm, and the hot stones were amazing. The masseuse was very attentive, had perfect pressure and work on my sciatic nerve and the knots in my back and shoulders. When I left they were kind enough to give me a rose and a box of chocolates since it was Valentine's week. It was a great experience, highly recommend! read more

Great experience! Next time will ask to focus more on my lower back. Highly recommend it!

Love Amanda she greets you with a smile. Place is great!! Wonderful massages. Prices not bad for the quality.

This was my first time coming here and I was very impressed with the staff's professionalism. I was greeted in a kind, gentle manner by a woman. She handed me something to sign (information, liability stuff) and she explained exactly what I would be signing. She then explained what words to tell the massage therapist (softer or harder) and encourage communication with them. Lastly, she explained the massage was "about me" and "to my comfort." I felt very valued and comfortable there. The person who performed my massage was a male who spoke little English (which is fine) but he made an effort to communicate if I was comfortable. He was very sweet. He did an excellent job and definitely knew what he was doing. Very professional. I look forward to returning! read more

My massage was amazing. They are very professional and the spa was very clean and organized. I will be going back.

One of the best massages I've had in years! Very professional staff! I'm thinking about going back soon!

I've been here for a couples massage & prenatal massage. Both were relaxing and I felt very comfortable.

I took a virtual class at work due to COVID-19. My comfort level in public is not the same as before due to the current climate. I can't wait for once it's safer, but I'm glad they're finding ways to stay in business during this pandemic time... I had a close friend to remind me of how great the massage is here..... I would like to first start off by saying to The Body Spa management and staff members that I am truly sorry for write this review after 7 years of fantastic service that this business has maintain/upheld. I thought that I had written a review but only task check-ins and tips for each visit. My friends , family and I have all had great massages throughout the years here. What I do remember on my last visit which was my birthday that I was welcomed by the front desk and it was very quite. I had the pleasure to have male as my masseuse which I shy away from (preference only) but this gentlemen has perfected his craft. I felt relaxed and he was able to get all my knots out and able to make me feel very comfortable. He kept asking if I was okay and making sure that the pressure was fine, the next I know it was 90 minutes of serenity. The prices here were affordable and very reasonable in my opinion (but this is also coming from a person that frequent Burk Williams establishments). The quality of a massage here is worth the peace of mind. My body has been aching for months and I can't wait until I can go back on a regular basis when suitable for me. Keep up the great work because your service is commendable! read more

I have going there for years. I started soon after they opened. It's very consistent on their services and they hold I high quality standard.
