When trying a new place, I always ask for a recommendation. The waiter recommended either the Bacon burger, or the Western Bacon BBQ burger. I tried the later and was stunned by how bland it was. It looked good, it wasn't missing anything, it was juicy and cooked properly, but it had absolutely no flavor. All I tasted was ground beef. The secondary flavor was bun. I have no idea how they pulled this off. It has bacon and BBQ sauce, how am I not tasting it over the bun and meat? Assuming I used all the same ingredients, I don't think I could reproduce such a bland burger if I tried. I only managed to eat half of it before my stomach was so full of dissapointment, I resigned myself to munching on the fries and bumming a bite of my girlfriends equally bland classic club. I did complain, though my complaints were met with a defensive tone as if there were something wrong with me. The lady said she never got any complaints. I suppose her customers just politely lied and didn't bother to return, considering it was dead on an early Sunday afternoon. My complaint did prompt a neighboring table to voice their dismay, echoing the same sentiment I did. Bland burger. "Needs more jazz" she said.

I ordered the "classic club" sandwich since it was on the special. I saw it on the board outside but wanted to confirm that by asking the waiter the specials. He didn't know them. The sandwich was not "classic" as it had an extra piece of bread in the middle. It was bland and I ended up putting ranch on it because the extra piece of bread made it so dry. Boyfriend ordered the western cheeseburger that claimed to be the "best burgers in town". I don't know who they cite as giving them that title, but it's some seriously bad advertising. His burger was so bland he didn't finish it and told the waiter. The table next to us complained to the waiter about their burger too. The manager came out and asked what the problem was in an accusatory voice. My boyfriend calmly explained that it tasted like the burger hadn't even been seasoned. The manager rudely interrupted serveral times with unrelated factoids. "We use a 7oz patty, seasoned, with homemade bbq sauce". That's great, I'm not telling you what you did in the kitchen, I'm telling you how the finished product tasted. She was similarly rude to the other table interjecting with "the mushroom swiss burger should've had 7 slices of 'porta-bellas'". They were like "well we didn't count them but it didn't taste like anything". She said this was the first complaint since they opened in June. Which I now see by reading the other reviews (which I should have done before we went!) that this was not the first complaint and she didn't handle that one well either. On a possibly related note, I didn't make it all the way home before I was sick in the bathroom at the local hardware store. Boyfriend was lucky enough to make it all the way home before he was ill.

You order up front before taking a seat and there is a good selection of sandwiches for lunch as well as coffee and freshly-baked goods. We missed the window for breakfast but they also serve made-to-order breakfast dishes. My husband and I just wanted a smaller meal for lunch that day, so we settled on the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. While the portion sizes are on the smaller side, they were balanced and filling for what we wanted (as well as very reasonably priced), and we ended our meal with an in-house baked oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was huge and packed with oats but still delicious, with the proper texture and not overly sweet. Our sandwiches were simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients and bread. The clam chowder was the soup of the day and so so good, I love when clam chowder has potatoes with the skin still attached. Our food also arrived pretty quickly, I would say within 10 minutes of ordering. Water is self-serve. We did not get a chance to try their coffee or the quiche that they're known for, but we will return to Sina's for sure and definitely recommend this cute little cafe for anyone looking for a quick, cozy meal in Sutter Creek!

This was mine and my daughter's first time here. After spending a little time scouting out some machines and playing for a little bit, my daughter and I and the rest of the family decided to have Lunch at Margaret's Cafe and Bakery. And we were definitely not disappointed. The host was a young man who had the most awesome service! Very friendly and very nice. He sat us in a booth which was definitely a major plus. We didn't have to wait long for our waitress to swing by and take our order. She was just as awesome as the Host up front! She was all smiley and friendly and she dug into some of our jokes and laughed. Dad has dietary needs and our waitress was very accommodating and helpful with that. Very thankful! Okay so... food. My sister ordered French fries for my daughter, herself, and I to share. Fries perfectly crunchy and perfectly seasoned. if there was salt on them fries I sure didn't notice! I ordered The Tuna Salad Sandwich. You get a choice of fries or a salad. since we already had fries at the table I opted for the house salad with Ranch dressing. HOLY GUACAMOLE! the Ranch they serve there is THE BEST! The. Best! the size of the salad was a good size too! (woulda loved a bit more crouton bc those things were good too)! The Tuna Salad Sandwich was very tasty. I totally enjoyed the wheat bread. The tuna salad was perfectly seasoned followed by the great onion crunch within the sandwich itself. Portions are huge! I was only able to eat half of it. will I be back?! oh yes! there are other things on the menu I want to try! So if you like great service with a smile and some good food--this is the spot at Jackson Rancheria!

We always grab breakfast before we gamble. Food is always consistently yummy- this time hubby got the French toast with eggs and ham, and I got an amazing BLat- it's bacon so I call that brekkie. We will be back soon
