How could this possibly be true, but yet so elaborate? I went online to see if this was a scam and there was a mention that he is doing this ghost kitchen concept in about 23 cities to help the restaurant business through the pandemic. Then, I did see this pop up on food delivery apps (door dash) and then looked up where the ghost kitchen could possibly be - which turned up to be Buca di Beppo in ward. Knowing this made me feel so much better. The downside of this is that it's delivery only - so your food might arrive cold (which it did). I had to reheat some of my sides in the air-fryer. The second downside is that because it's delivery - you have to pay an additional delivery fee and tip so it does come out more than expected. For 2 burgers, 1 appetizer, and 2 fries came out to $50. After delivery fees and tip was about $66 which is a little pricey In my opinion. The delivery came out of post mates when you put in the order through the link on yelp. The delivery person was in a unmarked car but there was this link they send you after you place your order to see the progress (and they were late by 10 mins also). What I ordered was the following- Bourbon wings (award winning) and definitely the star of everything I ordered. It is about $13 for half dozen wings and comes with a side of ranch that had a nice dill taste to it. Fried pickles (6-7$) and was on the spicy side a little.
