I ordered no lettuce and tomatoes, but sadly, I also did not get the peppers and mushrooms. The sandwich was not evenly cooked. Parts were cold, and other parts were warm. Cheesesteak Treasure. I'm surprised at the other reviews. We find this place to be so pleasant as all the staff are attentive and nice. My husband I order here often and we always see the owner on site. He says hello and is welcoming when we go inside to pick up our order. For the cost, these cheesesteaks are a great deal and delicious. The steak sandwiches come in a nice box which retains the heat without sogging up the sandwich. Very nice touch! We use the app to order and we always order the same thing (steak and cheese with lettuce and pickles) and we really appreciate the "order your last order" option. We ordered the cheese fries for the first time tonight. Tons of cheese sauce (yum - thank you)! Fries themselves are too limp. I have no problem with them but I can see what other reviewers have mentioned. Note to Charley's Steaks, as I know these are franchises): Change the French fry vendor, product, or check the process. The fries don't hold the crisp after the fry. Personally, I will eat them and love every drop of cheese on them limp soggy fries but I know cheese fry connoisseurs will be appalled. With so many good places completely missing the mark on hospitality and not engaging a welcoming feeling, it's nice to be acknowledged as a customer. I'm not sure if the owner is new (or same owner that prior reviews were based on) but it's pretty evident that the tone flows down from the top. He shows he cares when you walk in. Ordered the Philly cheese steak fully loaded. The meat was not seasoned and tasted very bland. The amount of meat and the fixings were of great proportion. The bread was missing something, too, maybe toasted or at least heated. I'll be trying other options next time. read more

Tried their cheesesteaks and we enjoyed it, even though they forget to put the mushrooms in one of them, they were very good. I got the #9 (philly cheese with bacon) it was really good. It was actually better than I thought. The combo comes with fries and a drink. I got a peach lemonade. It was good but it really just tasted like a regular lemonade. It has peach cubes in it but I think the lemonade makes the cubes taste like lemonade. That saying you should always listen to your gut rang true today. My husband and I stopped into the PBG mall to have cheesesteaks. First, the lady at the register taking our order had to redo it several times after we repeated what we didn't want on our order. First red flag. After $38 plus bucks for our order, the cheesesteaks were small, the fries were cold. The only good thing were our drinks. I mean how can screw that up right? Second red flag was quality of food. Within a few hours, BOTH my husband and I were violently ill. Food poisoning. To say the least, lesson learned. I customized a regular size cheesesteak without any issues. I also asked not to add any salt, peppers or mayo and the cook did what I asked. Unfortunately the fries must be salted wherever they are made which is unfortunate for me. The sandwich was excellent but the fries were too salty for me to eat. The service was good. The food was prepared while my son counted 17 flies in the restaurant. I also saw one of the cooks step away from the grill to walk to the the back and return with unchanged gloves and proceeded to cook again. It's in the mall's food court....right next to Subway.. ooooo... usually they get a lot of business so most people seem to like it. my go-to is the philly sub... with beef or the chicken on.. yum though it seems a bit too salty for me. It's more expensive than their aforementioned neighbours.. but you are getting a sub that the meat isn't microwaved but is grilled. Their fries are good... you can get them loaded... good times. So I've had a craving for Philly cheesesteak sandwich and while searching through Google I saw that in Boynton-located Boynton inside the mall Boynton Beach mall that was a Charley's Philly steaks--so I decided to make the drive immediately enter in the mall the food court was on the same level near by the entrance which made for easy finding -I got in line about five people ahead of me -I knew exactly what I wanted to order some- about a 2 minute wait- then it was my turn I ordered a regular size Philly cheese steak with veggies including onions *Green peppers *banana peppers *dressed with mayo and tomato -and a side of fresh cut french fries with drink a regular blueberry lemonade---I must say that this was for feeling and also yummy my craving has been answered it was cheesy was a little bit of salty and I got some sweetness from the blueberry lemonade -Fries were a hot fresh you can be fresh-cut fries with the skin on- and something that I like about Charley's Philly steaks they appreciate their customers by -give my loyalty card and use your loyalty card to get stamps when you've got enough stamps on your card get a free Charley's Philly cheesesteak sandwich being rewarded for things that you like is a sweet deal more restaurants and shops should do the same-- claps for Charley's read more
