Simple toppings of fried tortilla strips, avocado, charred jalapeno, and caramelized onions adorn the top. Before this moment, I thought I just wasn't a fan of mole. It turns out, I had never tried great mole before. This stuff dazzles with layered spices, melded so well that I can't pick a single one out from the pack. It's not overwhelmingly hot, but definitely leaves your lips tingling. I'm glad I finally got there before they close up shop at their current location in Hana World Market on December 21st, and even happier to know that their new brick-and-mortar isn't too far behind. To order you'll walk up to the counter to place your order and the staff will cut meat at the front of the line, then grab your sides, and if you want a sandwich you'll order this at the end of the line. The inside of the restaurant is older, but some times these are the best bbq spots. I ordered the pork ribs, the jalapeño cheddar sausage, the brisket grilled cheese, green chili Mac n cheese, and the tater tot casserole. Everything was great and you'll definitely want to use the bbq sauce. The flavor overall was good but you'll definitely need to use some sausage. If you find yourself in Pflugerville this is a bbq spot worth the stop in.
