Consistently good. Great for take away. Love the Walt's champagne salad or chicken piccata. We've eaten here for years. Large tables for a big group or small booths. read more

We had a great experience sitting in the bar area at a table. Our selections came quickly and it was very tasty. We had great service and the bathrooms were clean. read more

I really liked the ambience of the restaurant, I really enjoyed sitting in a dim lit place. The service was good. The food however wasn't as good given the extreme prices. Overall the restaurant does have a nice atmosphere but the food is overpriced. read more

The very best ceases salad I have ever had. And the croissant is so soft. Highly recommend Charleston's for lunch or dinner.

Waitstaff as son as you walk in is courteous and attentive. Our waitress did not allow our drinks to go past halfway the entire lunch. We had the spinach artichoke dip and it came with salsa AND sour cream...delicious made in house chips made it awesome! I had the delicious fried fish and the portions were enormous. My wife and I easily could have split it. My son ordered the chicken tender platter and raved on and on about how good it tasted. Spent a little more than usual for lunch, but the portions were huge, the waitstaff was great and we'll definitely be going back soon!! read more

Fresh ingredients. Healthy or home style cooking...great drinks or delish ice or hot tea...so there is something for EVERYone. Salads are the best. Walt's with fresh greens, pan-spiced pecans, and hand-cut fresh fruit is a longtime favorite!! Boys in our group like bbq or steaks or huge burgers. Another Hal Smith restaurant success. read more

Excellent food and service. A great place to go for a special occasion or just because you want some good food!

Thank you Charleston's for hosting the Kentucky softball team at your restaurant! They did a great job with my group of 20+! Got us out in an hour and a half, the service and food was great, would recommend to anyone! read more

One of our favorite places to eat! Great food, drinks & weight staff. Can't go wrong with this place.

Went for lunch yesterday and had such a nice time. The inside is beautiful and cozy with its big leather booths and dark wood. I've always had great service at charlestons, sometimes too good because of the amount of times they try to refill your water but hey I guess they just want to keep us hydrated! I usually always opt for the baked potato soup because there really isn't much better but my friend was so excited we were there in a Monday because that meant their roasted tomato and veggie soup was the soup of the day. I ventured out and got that and a ceased salad. The soup was delicious and unloved the little macaroni noodles in it, reminded me of an updated minestrone. The Cesar salad is always delicious and comes with one of their lighter than air honey croissants! The perfect amount of food for $12! read more

Great food and great service, always! The atmosphere is very warm. Staff go out of their way to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

Miranda is the best server I think I've ever had in my entire life. She worked her tail off for us and I appreciate her. Salmon Caesar salad was incredible, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Did I say Miranda was great? She's the best. Thanks Charleston's, and thanks even more to Miranda, she's great. She's amazing. Just a hard-working young woman. Incredible job from Miranda. I love her to death. read more

Food was not very good. Chicken fried steak felt like chewing on rubber. Will never come back.

Wow!! Excellent food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Really enjoyed my salad with shrimp. That was way more shrimp than I've ever had in a salad. Excellent flavors. Can't wait to eat here again. Very careful social distancing of the table. read more

I am traveling from California and wasn't feeling well. I wanted soup and this location had good reviews and the type of soup I wanted. I Know because I reviewed their menu via their site and the location on yelp prior to coming into the establishment. I was upset on arrival because the soup on the online menu was not the same. I noted that is an issue to the server and asked to speak with management. One thing should never be different and that is what is advertised. I was going to order different but wanted them to know it wasn't cool. It is not a concern of running out of a daily special. I understand that. This is an issue of misrepresentation. Even an item as small as soup can be a cornerstone of proper business. The reason the message is written to the Yelp public is in relation to the reaction I felt from the Manger on Duty. Billy was not very sympathetic, in fact the response was defensive and he quickly commented on the fact he could do nothing. After he saw me getting frustrated I felt he finally opened up and offers to buy a different soup for me. I realize this may be the only time I see a Charleston's. I have not seen this brand in CA, but Billy's demeanor was less than helpful in making me stay at the restaurant. In fact, we left and went to the establishment next door. In the future I will avoid this brand and tell others the same. Poor management of menu and poor disposition is all I need to make my choice and spread what word To who I can. read more

Something on the menu for everyone. Delicious, great service, Relaxing atmosphere allows for table conversation. No TVs in main dining room; but they're in the bar section. Not loud or bright or hyperactive. Politely casual mood. It hits the mark every time. read more

Sooooo good! We got the prime rib with an added shrimp skewer, and the sweet carrots. All of it was absolutely delicious. They are a bit pricey, but to me it's well worth what you pay for. The atmosphere is inviting and quiet. Maybe a bit on the dark side, but that doesn't bother us too much. Some may really like that. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic date, or some great food to eat. We will dine here again for sure. Service was good too. read more

Norman staple. Always liked this place. Very good service (you can play a fun game and time their ridiculously fast drink refills) and the food is always tasty. I'm partial to the Walt's champagne chicken salad. Not sure who Walt is, but he knows his salads. :) read more

Service and food is good. Ambience is good but they never seem to have their excellent pineapple upside down cake.

Yesterday (Saturday, May 20, 2022) we went to the Charleston's on 240. We've been there several times before and the food abs service have been great. Not on this Saturday. We ordered catfish platter with a side salad. Not our usual. Usually the salad comes with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and a tiny bit of carrots. Not this tune. Alm we got was lettuce. When we told the waitress all she had to say was "did yiu ask us to leave it off?" No we said. "You could have asked us to bring you the other ingredients" Really? Then the catfish which was premium prices was stiff. And not vey flavorful. The. As the young waitress was picking up the dishes she dropped them all over the floor in front of our table. An expensive abs not enjoyable dinner lacking i the usual mix of ingredients. read more

I ordered a NY Strip Medium Rare. Had to send back two NY Strips. The first was Medium Well. The second was totally Rare. I gave up and asked for a Filet. It came out blood red Rare. My daughter and I went there for a late lunch during the recent rain/sleet storm and had the most wonderful experience. All of food was amazing, especially the Carrot Cake (wow), but our service was even more amazing. Zane was our waiter and, besides taking great care of us, was extremely pleasant to talk to and demonstrated time after time why people should return to Charleston's whenever they can. What more can you say about Charleston's!? I've been dining at Charleston's in multiple locations for over 20 years and the Norman location is top notch. Whether it's at the bar, a private booth, or curbside to-go service; Charleston's is always great! They have a solid selection of wine, they make the perfect margarita and have a generous amount of brews on tap. For food, I recommend Hawaiian marinated steak, pasta, and a salad with their famous champagne vinaigrette dressing. For a side, the carrots are unbelievably good! read more

Always great food and service! I highly recommend the Chicken Picatta, but swap the noodles for their garlic mashed potatoes. Yum!

Good atmosphere, decent service, but almost zero vegetarian options. For a nice restaurant I was extremely disappointed in this. Even the daily soup options have meat. If you don't like an impossible burger and you're a vegetarian, do not come here. read more

Great all the time every time! I always get the chicken parm and Caesar salad. Never gets old!

I LOVE this restaurant. They have many different foods of all types and I don't think I've ever ordered something that I didn't like. Their children's menu is good with good options. Now, of course there's the occasional drink refill when you haven't even had a sip, but the costumer service is good and the staff is friendly and always asks you how your day has been. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice place to have a family or birthday dinner. read more
