Went to ASC since my car's check engine light is on. They told me that it needs oil change. I…read moreagreed, asked them to check the code and diagnose after the oil change. They did change the oil, provided a list of the error codes and cleared the codes. I was charged for $269 for the visit! If I go to anywhere else for oil change, the cost will be $60-70 at most. Bob's explanation is that they use a very expensive computer to read the codes; and the minimum charge is $135. I never knew that any car repair will charge anything for reading and clearing the codes. This is totally a rip-off! Will never go to ASC again!

i do have trust issues on their ability to actually fix my car. i originally brought my car in…read morebecause my brake was acting weird. they just randomly changed my brake pads that i changed not so long ago and it did not fix the issue. few months later i come back to get my inspection done here and they failed me for the same reason that they did not fix correctly to begin with. i gave them another shot to fix it and they thought it was the calipers that might need to be replace. they some how ended up replacing one control arm, conveniently pass my inspection but my car is still having the same issue. i have to step on the brake very hard and for a long time to get it to work. it's gotten to the point that i got used to driving it this way, i just keep 2 car distance at all time. but it does not change the fact they did not fix the issue and charged me for different services both times. i didn't even bother bringing it back because i feel like they just playing car parts roulette and replacing random things then hope it works. if you go here for a general inspection sticker with a newer car it will be fine but i dont trust their abilities to fix old cars

You're better off driving the 50 yards down the street to Chris's Service Center, or any other mechanic shop in Norfolk County. --- After reading the reviews from ~10 years ago, I thought I would be in good hands. But I have come to find out that if Dave and Eddie can take advantage of you, they will... --- And to be perfectly clear, Dave and Eddie run the shop. This review is not a condemnation of their employees, but a direct condemnation of Dave and Eddie's approach to handling Their business. --- Fair warning when Dealing Balabanis: 1) A "few week" job in the Balabanis world translates to +74 days, with absolutely ZERO communication. And they are utterly apathetic to that exact complaint. And when you do call on the 50th day, they will lie through their teeth and say the 'truck will be ready by the end of the week'....but the next time you hear from them is when YOU have to call them back weeks later to check in on them again! But you are just fed more lies, sadly. 2) If they damage your vehicle, or more precisely, put a hole in the bed of your truck, there is no plan to correct the problem. The hole in the bed of your truck is now your problem to deal with, with NO correction to the overall price to reflect those incurred damages. 3) If you give them a 'stop-work-order' to prevent costs from exceeding 'X' amount, they don't care, and they will blow right past that stop order, and unsurprisingly, they will happily pass those costs (and the profit margin!!) right to your bill. 4) Dave took a perfectly fine back bumper off my truck, to only re-install it lopsided and twisted...again, NO correction to the overall price to reflect those incurred damages. 5) Last but not least - If you leave your vehicle with them for any extended period of time, there is a non-zero chance your car will have drips of sap all over the paint job for which that is now your problem to deal with, with NO correction to the overall price to reflect those incurred damages. And after 74 days of my truck being in possession of Balabanis, my truck had a tremendous amount of sap all over the paint job which translates into hours of manual labor with a chance of chipping the paint or hundreds of dollars at the detail shop to remediate the problem. --- These are just some of the problems Balabanis creates for the customer, and willingly, passes these problems to the customer, for profit. So I need to pay the deductible, even though the car has only 20 K under Honda care warranties. The insurance sent me to Boch Honda collision center now, Nucar. They did the most neglected repairs I had ever seen. The front fender was replaced by after-market crap, fade painted with fade spot, and they broke the side left spoiler clips and did not fix them; on top of that, half of the engine compartment plastic clips were missing. They did not replace the PPF on the fender, so we need to recall it. Fender replaced it with paint, which cost over $ 3000. Refrain from repairing your car, or constantly check before to pick up. This dealer provided terrible customer service, as usual.
