These guys are great! My son backed into a pole and put a significant dent in the rear bumper cover of his 2014 Toyota. He went to two local auto body shops and was quoted $900 from one to replace the bumper cover. Not happy with that price he went to another shop and was quoted $1600. I sent him to D & D, where I've been going for years. Mark explained that he could heat up the plastic cover and pop out the dent for $50.00. It isn't a new cover - but it looks perfect! This is the second time I've had work done at D&D, and to put it simply, I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly. I brought my 2002 Chevy Silverado in to have some serious body rust repaired, and they did an absolutely spectacular job - I was blown away by the results. The truck looks as good as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. Daryl is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work - he treats your vehicle like it's his own. The outcome exceeded my expectations by a mile. The most impressive thing... like most people, I had a limited budget. So, Daryl spent a ton of time with us, sharing his expertise and patiently helping us figure out how to make our money go as far as possible - what would be worth it, where we could save a little, and what we could afford to skip. The end result turned out amazing, and the work came in BELOW the estimate. I'm simply blown away by his workmanship. I have unfortunately had to use a couple of body shops over the last few years, largely due to teenagers and large animals lying in the road... but I just had an experience with the best one I have used yet. D&D in Norwood is a family owned business, and I actually was looking for another one in the same neighborhood, but stumbled across D&D. With one of the other shops I have used in the Needham area... getting them to handle any kind of insurance communication ended up in my lap, and then I would constantly have to call to get status updates. With D&D, Mark S was all over the situation. He gave me updates regularly, handled all of the insurance related stuff, and coordinated all the work that involved getting the Lincoln dealership involved. Their work was excellent, and we had quite a bit of work that needed doing. If we ever need body work done again, this is where I am going without hesitation, and I will also send my friends and family their way! read more

I recently had an accident and had to get the front of my car fixed. My insurance gave a me a 2 page list of reccomended auto shops and D&D was one of them. I Checked the reviews for the local shops and since this place was highly rated I brought my car here. When you get there you have to drive to the back to find the shop but other reviewers pointed that out so I found it right away. As others have mentioned Daryl is really friendly and they fixed my car fast and it looks better than it did when I first got it. Daryl even helped me out because my insurance messed up and sent the check to my old address and I didnt have it during pickup but he called the insurance, managed to get the money redirect to him and fixed my car a day earlier than his estimate. It really helps to have someone like that help you out when you are in a bind like this. read more

Amazing experience. Somebody keyed by car badly on two different locations. It was causing me a lot of stress and the car dealer where I bought the car was quoting me at $900+ to repaint it. If you care about your vehicle and want a perfectionist job, come to D&D. I had an SUV repaired there recently that had severe damage to the rear end (a van hit it from behind in a car wash) and I brought it here for repair. The owner and staff were very easy to work with; they wrote up an estimate for insurance and started the work quickly. The vehicle came back looking brand new and if you put a window sticker on it, you might think it just rolled off the dealer's lot! They even replaced a tail light bulb after the fact, free of charge. It's hard to find a body shop you can trust and treats your vehicle as if it was their own, so this here is a sure win! read more

These guys were recommended to me by Don and Wallys for a car butt repair. The poor thing just would not pass inspection without it. Oh well, so we had to fix it. Crap! We really didn't want to spend the full amount for the part and labor and all the associated BS that goes with a repair. Even though it was "necessary" we'd been driving with said dented ugly butt for almost three years and it hadn't been an issue till the dang state got involved. I was amazed when the guys here agreed to let us order the part ourselves, get it shipped to his garage, and then just charge us for the labor, to basically hork the thing on. nothing fancy, no "sand that rust and paint the new bumper, etc etc," which is exactly what we wanted. It was a total relief to have a legal car, for half of what we were told it should cost. And they delivered, with fast service, and no BS. Do not be put off by the total lack of signage out front, your GPS is not leading you astray. pull around to the back. and just roll with hollering out hello? if no one comes out to greet you. They're woman friendly, as in, respectful, not condescending, and negotiated the part delivery with me, not my hubs, cause I was the one able to get the car to them that day. I really wish that I could give these guys a 5 star review, but I only had a very minor job done. That being said, I am impressed with the speed and the honesty that this company does posses. I have been trying to find a body shop that would fix the hinges on my drivers door for over a month. I had originally brought to another body shop that my mechanic recommended. Had a nice meeting with the man, he looked it over, gave me a quote, said he'd call me the next day. Yeah, we all know how that goes. Finally got fed up and started calling everybody in town. I got in touch with Daryl at D&D and he quoted me a price that was half what the next lowest price was going to be! Half! How can you argue with that? I dropped my truck off first thing in the morning, and he had it done in half the time that the originally gave me. Speed, honesty, and a fair price. The owner Daryl is a friendly, honest guy. He gives you a truthful assessment on your car, weighs options and throws out fair prices. I had front end bumper damage which was borderline to needing the entire bumper replaced. $700 for that work, but he said he could fix it for $275 and told me to come back in the spring time and get through the winter. He even fixed my blinker for no charge that day! Something flew off a box truck when I was driving down a main road and smacked my bumper causing the damage and short circuited my blinker. You don't get better than this place. HONESTY. CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT WORK. NICE GUY. Amazing work from friendly guys. Two doors replaced, front corner panel and a bumper repaired in under a week. My car looks brand new and they saved me at least $300. I was on the road and wanted to know there hours of operation. I called around 9pm thinking I would get their answering machine and it would tell me the hours. I was taken off guard when Daryl answered the phone. AT 9PM!!! He was friendly and not at all put out by the late night call. That's when I knew this was the place to take my car. I recently bought a new Jeep and made the mistake of adding some adorable ladybug caps to my tires. Such a mistake. They rusted on. The price quote to shave them off from the dealership I bought the Jeep from (Quirk in Braintree) was $650!! That being said I sucked it up and went to D&D to explain my very embarrassing mistake and not only did they not make me feel ridiculous for doing it in the first place (which Quirk certainly did) they took them off in two hours without charging me a fee comparable to getting new tires! D & D owners and workers couldn't be nicer or more reasonable. I have used their repair service twice and they have done excellent work for much less than other auto body shops estimated. They are conscientious - not doing unnecessary work, pointing out what should be repaired in the future (our "new to us" used car had a known flaw that cause a structural beam to rust in one place eventually, and this was pointed out). They were quick, also. I came to this shop after a "I got taken advantage of" experience at a regular body shop (I had very slightly dented a rear passenger door on a parked car in a lot, left a note, then paid out of pocket rather than have points added that affected my insurance....and the other party's insurance company recommended body shop jacked the repair bill up to $1800 as they painted most of the car "so it would match the door dent repair"...) My faith in humanity - or at least my belief "you can get a fair day's work for a fair day's pay" was restored by D & D. read more

Very happy with the work that was done on my car. I got into an accident with my practically brand new car, no fun. I was careless and rear-ended someone, leaving the other car with barely a ding, but my front end pretty messed up. Daryl was happy to let me drop the car off on a Saturday morning even though they didn't seem to actually be "open." He was friendly and professional and had the job done (beautifully!) exactly when he said it would be. He also discounted it for me so that I only had to pay $200 out of my $500 deductible!
