I brought my 2002 Chevy Silverado in to have some serious body rust repaired, and they did an absolutely spectacular job - I was blown away by the results. The truck looks as good as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. Daryl is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work - he treats your vehicle like it's his own. The outcome exceeded my expectations by a mile. The most impressive thing... like most people, I had a limited budget. So, Daryl spent a ton of time with us, sharing his expertise and patiently helping us figure out how to make our money go as far as possible - what would be worth it, where we could save a little, and what we could afford to skip. The end result turned out amazing, and the work came in BELOW the estimate. I'm simply blown away by his workmanship. I get the sense that Daryl could have retired years ago, but keeps doing it because of how much pride he takes in his work, and that shows. I'm really grateful. My highest recommendation.

But both my preferred gas station (The independent place at 215 Main in Walpole) and my insurance guy said Carol's was excellent. We got an estimate from my insurance company about a week ago. I called them on a Friday after ther insurance sent over the estimate, Carol's told me to drop the car off on Monday - had a brand new bumper cover, associated trim, and bumper impact parts replaced by Friday AM with the entire car washed. I did not end up needing it, but the Enterprise rental in Norwood will pick up up here if you are doing a one person drop off. That was good to know. They made the whole process super easy. After 3 weeks, my car was ready for pick up. However, upon inspection, there were still chips, scratches and visible paint bubbles in the one area they were supposed to fix. I refused to sign off on the car and asked to have the manager call me. After speaking with the manager the following day, they apologized and said they would get it back in the shop and done right. While I was waiting for my vehicle the second time, the business put me in a luxury rental and took less than a week to fix. Upon pick up, my car was detailed and looked brand new. The manager personally walked around my car and again apologized for the error. While this business did not fix my car initially to the expectations we aligned on, they did make it right the second time and that's what matters in my eyes. I really appreciate the transparency and efforts to make up for the mistake and do right by the customer.

My husband was called to pick it up 4 times and 4 times things that had been pointed out over and over again were not done, on the 5th time he got one mile from C&E with the Jeep before the transmission seized because somewhere along the line C&E never checked the transmission or transmission fluid after the Jeep was there due to a front end collision! I'm no mechanic but clearly these guys aren't either. We paid out $1200 more to a jeep dealer to put in a used transmission that C&E clearly caused and refused to pay us back for. Con artists and morons run this business. Get ready to double and triple check any work you have had done by them, they are disgusting! Update 2025: C&E decided to not pay for our rental during the period listed above b/c I gave them a bad review and told the rental place that it was our bill, it went to collections before we even found out. John Stella has taken care of me every time, and he is friendly, efficient and super helpful. They are very detail oriented, and I even had my service pushed back a few days because they reordered a part for me due to the fact that the original part ordered was not in great condition and they refused to put anything but top notch parts on my car. In my experience with other body shops, this is a huge plus; normally they would cut corners to be cheap or I would be back a year later with a rotted part. Also, the color of my car is not the easiest to match...it's an off baby blue color that is not very common. With that being said, after each repair, my car looks brand new and I'm not able to discern between the original color and where they've painted. Not to mention the fact that my car is clean and pristine when I get back. I've had the easiest experience dealing back and forth between Center Auto and my insurance company, and there is not one thing I can point out that negatively affected my 3 trips to this body shop. So I need to pay the deductible, even though the car has only 20 K under Honda care warranties. The insurance sent me to Boch Honda collision center now, Nucar. They did the most neglected repairs I had ever seen. The front fender was replaced by after-market crap, fade painted with fade spot, and they broke the side left spoiler clips and did not fix them; on top of that, half of the engine compartment plastic clips were missing. They did not replace the PPF on the fender, so we need to recall it. Fender replaced it with paint, which cost over $ 3000. Refrain from repairing your car, or constantly check before to pick up. This dealer provided terrible customer service, as usual.
