    The mattress is the best. The delivery, which they farm out, was terrible. Mattress 5, delivery 1/2.

    Dear Safavieh Customer Service,…read more I'm writing to share my very disappointing experience with the sales associate/designer named Debbie at your Livingston, NJ store. I visited the showroom in January 2025 and was introduced to Debbie (unfortunately, I do not know her last name). She explained that for her to provide in-home design services, I would need to commit to purchasing at least $10,000 in furniture or place a 10% deposit of $1,000. Per her request, I provided my credit card information. I did take her design suggestions and ended up purchasing over $20,000 worth of furniture. Debbie assured me that everything would be delivered within two months, and she also promised to be present at each delivery to oversee the process. Unfortunately, she did not follow through on her promises. For the first of several deliveries, she contacted me on the day of and said she wouldn't be coming due to traffic. While I understood the situation, it was disappointing. More frustratingly, the delivery of a sofa chair and king-size bed took nearly three months. During this time, I had no proper bed and was forced to sleep on a sofa bed. The sofa bed was a floor sample, so thankfully it arrived quickly, but I expected much better service and communication given the scale of my purchase. This experience has been stressful and frustrating, especially considering the cost and expectations set at the beginning. I hope you take this feedback seriously and look into improving the customer experience and follow-through at your Livingston location.

I let the guys set up and during the set up, I saw things that were wrong, I mentioned it. They only spoke spanish. So I called the store, and explained to Moe, the glass top doesn't fit with the tv stand its short and nothing is holding it still so it wouldn't slide. I Didn't need the fire place so I asked to make sure it has shelves in the center instead. He tells me this is how its suppose to look. The dining table glass is heavier than the base, the base is uneven and very fragile. It doesn't adhere to table top so if someone bumps the table or kick the base it would move right from under it..No help, MOE lied amd said they would cone get it and give me credit, but the credit part wasn't mentioned until 2 days later of me calling. I can't see myself purchasing from them again. He told the delivery ppl in spanish, to leave it and sonething else. But I should've known they weren't coming Back. A wk later in loading the items in my car to take back.. Now you know if they can fit in an Odyssey van its horrible.. DON'T PURCHASE! They kept taking customer orders even though they knew they were close to bankruptcy, telling customers they had to pay in full because the furniture was custom made. That's why we were so excited to find a set at Arhaus that we liked. This would be my first-ever dining room table/chairs purchase EVER--I'm 54, but have never had a space large enough to merit one--& our first one from a "nice" furniture store. * 05/28: Order placed w/ an expected arrival time of mid-late September * 09/17: Right on schedule, received an email that the order arrived & would be sent to a local delivery hub on 09/24, at which point they would call me w/i 5-7 days to arrange delivery * 09/23: Instead of receiving said call from local delivery hub, we got an email from Arhaus saying that they were "unable to fulfill our oder for the chairs--so, after four months of waiting & confirmation that they were coming soon, we were S.O.L. with no explanation. Naturally, we scoured the internet to find different chairs (from a different company) that would go with the table--or a completely new set to start over from scratch with--but came up short & wound up ordering the only other chairs that matched the table that were literally twice as expensive. All we were offered by way of compensation for *their* error was 10% off the reorder...& that was only after I pressured them. * 09/25: We placed the order for the chairs that were twice as expensive & told that there is no way that they can expedite our order, so we would not have them for Thanksgiving, but *maybe* by Xmas. We also requested that the table they did have be delivered to avoid its going missing, as the chairs had. I was told the table would be delivered 10/03. * 10/13: The company that handles Arhaus deliveries told me that they had the chairs--the ones I'd previously been told were missing--& the table base, but not the table top...in contradiction to what I'd been older on several earlier occasions. The right hand did not know what the left (or even itself) was doing. After contact Arhaus, they confirmed that the delivery company did have the entire table (but the chairs were still MIA). * 10/18: Table that was meant to have been delivered 10/03 was delivered. * 11/12: Arhaus emailed to advise the (new) chairs, which were supposed to arrive mid-December "[had] experienced a delay due to unexpected circumstances," but no information as to how long of a delay was provided. I telephoned Arhaus no fewer than four times to inquire as to the nature of the delay--had the new chairs gone missing, too?--& the new expected delivery date. Each time, I was told they would look into it & get back to me...they never got back to me. * 11/25: Surprise, surprise! The new chairs are ready--I guess they weren't delayed, after all--& were beginning their two-step delivery process. Delivery was scheduled for 12/09. * 12/09: I was given the window of 3:00pm-5:00pm, told my delivery was expected between 3:20pm & 3:50pm & given a link to track the process, which I looked at first at 3:00pm; delivery window was still 3:20pm-3:50pm, but they were on delivery #6 & I was number 8, so I knew that wasn't happening. As time passed--3:20pm, 3:50pm, 4:07pm--& I saw that my window was now in the past & they were still on delivery #6, I called to confirm as to whether it wold still be coming today. Long story long, they arrived shortly after 5:00pm. In conclusion, while I love Arhaus design & quality, I will never order anything from them, again, as they have major supply chain & customer service issues that need to be addressed. Maybe I'm just a gap-toothed hillbilly from WV living in the big city, but it shouldn't take six months & become a part-time job (for the customer) to get a table & chairs.

Mattress comes, it's as hard as concrete and the height is not what was ordered. Call the store explain this to the salesman. Told the salesman wasn't in that location call Paramus and speak with the manager. Called spoke with him, he was very rude. Was able to finally speak with the salesman, advised us to come in the store so he could help correct the issues. Puts in for a replacement mattress. Replacement mattress comes and it's wrong. Called and informed them it was wrong. Was told the salesman was transferred out of state, but they would have him call me back. He never called. So, we went back to the store. They ordered another replacement; it comes and it's still wrong!!! Called the store again, I was told to call the manager in Paramus. Never answered and never called back. Two days pass no call back from anyone. Called told them to schedule a pick and I didn't want to be charged that restocking fee as this was their error not mine. They pick up the mattress/bed and almost break the ceiling light in our living room. Very careless. They refunded my credit card but not for the full amount as they should have. Sent a letter to the corporate office but I doubt they will answer or do anything about their poor service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE SHOP ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS AND WILL NEVER. Shame on you Mattress Firm.
