We've been met with moderate success... but super high prices and very high pressure to purchase. Until we went to Mattress Firm in Greenwich, CT. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and were greeted by Joseph (Joe). He was very attentive, responsive, and he listened well to what we were looking for. While I completely understand that he needed to show us all our options, he helped us realize that we only really needed a base, as opposed to a box spring to go with our mattress. He explained all our options VERY well, and did not pressure us at all to buy anything we didn't need (even if it meant that we were spending less money in store). The fact that he offered us cold water to drink was such a nice touch, it put both me and my husband at ease. We will definitely be returning to this particular location, and working closely ONLY with Joe in the future. The delivery of the item was very smooth, and the delivery people were very communicative throughout the process. They explained everything to my husband (who, fortunately, was able to be home to receive the item), and they were VERY helpful in removing our old box spring from the premises. To anyone who might be reading this review, PLEASE consider Mattress Firm for all your mattress needs. Joseph is a top-notch sales associate, and the delivery people are also very professional and courteous when delivering the items. We ultimately determined that the Hastens beds were the right fit for our family. We made a significant investment in ourselves and our sleep has never been better...no regrets. The Hastens' beds have been reviewed previously. I am leaving comments regarding my experience working with Lori the Showroom Manager. Lori was phenomenal to work with. She spent many hours working with our family on this significant purchase. When there was a special sale on bed linens Lori travelled to 3 different showrooms looking for our desired sheet sets as she didn't want us to miss out on finding exactly what we wanted. When we purchased a second Hastens bed Lori worked to find the best shipping options and handled coordinating all logistics for a cross-country delivery. Metromattress is one of the more slimy mattress retailers. They have well trained sales people who are good at handling objections, and toeing the company line, but they are not really experts in sleep technology. Here is the real problem with this place- their return and refund policies are so one sided, you have little to no flex in getting your money back. I hated the mattress they delivered and the contract I signed was confusing. 2 weeks to tell them I didn't like it and 30 days to swap it out. No refund. So I chose a new mattress, but I could not price compare because they make up their own model names. And I can return this mattress if I don't like. Bottom line- there are other retailers that give you more transparency and better pricing and return policies. The friendly sales people are not worth the liability of what you buy.

Shopping for a mattress was exhausting...the exhaustion amplified by me having to sleep on my son's lower bunkbed and she in the girls room on a twin... while we canvased the world for a waterless replacement. Fortunately we included KleinSleep in our exhaustive search. We were rewarded with an informed, no-pressure purchasing experience. On our second visit, we brought our pillows and sheets and made the final choice. Both the manager (30yrs with Klein) and the owner (born into the business) were top shelf. The king mattress and box springs were delivered speedily (one of the delivery people is with Klein 9yrs plus) and the old box springs taken away (not a dent in the paint in the stairway). Craig spent a lot of time with us and gave us the opportunity to try out different beds. We found a bed we liked and told him that we were going to go comparison shopping before making a decision. He advised us to go to Macy's which has the best selection. He never pressured us to buy. We did go to Macy's plus one other store but ultimately decided that Craig had the best bed for the best price. We appreciated the time he took and the no-pressure approach. We now have our new bed and are totally thrilled with it. I highly recommend Craig as he knows his stuff and gives you the time and space to comfortably come to a decision.
