SCAM!!!! Don't go here!! My mom went to this establishment to get her phone fixed. The owner was there and said it will take an hour to fix her phone, when she returned to pick it up he said it couldn't be fixed and tried Upselling her, trying to get her to buy a new phone from him. He then Charged her a 40 dollar "service fee" My mother decided to take it somewhere else. It took the other place 30 minutes to replace the battery and her phone was working again. She went back to the establishment and asked for a refund of the 40 dollars and his response was... did you post a bad review on yelp yet? He ended up not giving her the refund and did nothing to fix her phone. This place needs to be shutdown. My sister works for an attorneys office and plans on taking legal action. 2 weeks ago NEW WOW, just WOW! Lousy workmanship, doesn't stand behind his work, & vulgar & rude when asked to. Harley screwed up the replacement screen on my tablet then blamed me for rushing him & told me to go F*** myself multiple times after refusing to fix his crappy work. I wouldn't send my worst enemy in there! I've since seen several bad reviews & Johann at Charisma has the same "canned" reply about Harley being independent & blah blah blah... fact is, my receipt says Charisma Computers on it so Johann is aware of Harley's shoddy workmanship & continues to allow him to use his brand. Like someone else said...if I could give zero stars I would. I was recommended this place of business by my wireless carrier. He did a good job helping me by retrieving data from a broken phone and transferring it to a new phone. While there I mentioned that I needed a tablet. He showed me a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro that he got from someone. It was used. He said it worked. I bought it. It did work. For a few months. It began overheating when I tried to do anything with it and at some point was shutting itself off continuously. I brought it back to this business because he did such a good job with my phone. The man told me he would fix it. I waited. And waited. And waited. Called. A woman told me it was "sitting here" and done. I drove 30 miles to pick it up and when I asked if he fixed it he told me that "it charged just fine." I said well...that's not why I brought it to you. It charges but then it shuts itself off and overheats. He then said it needed a new battery. Okaaay. I left it with him. Again. Waited. And waited and waited. I called and a woman answered. She told me it wasn't done. Okaay. Wait some more. Long story short...I never heard from these people. for 8 months they have had this thing. Not one phone call. When I would call they either couldn't remember what I brought or...I would have to remind them why the tablet was there. When I finally drove another 30 miles today to get it, it STILL wasn't fixed. He asked me what I wanted to do. I said I wanted my money back. He had the nerve to tell me that I've had the tablet for a year and that he wasn't going to refund me the $150 plus tax I paid. Then he has the nerve to ask me why I didn't care about his small business. I lost it. I started my review with good things to say for a reason. If, at any point, in the last few months I had gotten a phone call and someone had said...hey, we can't fix this thing. we'll refund you...I would be a loyal customer. I would refer him. But I am giving him a TERRIBLE review instead. Not because he didn't fix the tablet. I am giving him a terrible review because he is a terrible businessman. He doesn't have the good sense to know that treating someone fairly is far better business than anything that 150 dollars will get him. I will be going to my wireless carrier and telling them my experience. I will recommend they send their clients somewhere else. I will tell ALL my friends about my experience. I certainly won't be returning. I indeed care about small business. I own one. And I can tell you, sir...admitting you made a mistake...and returning that money will help your small business WAY more than being a jerk. So...take this review as me caring enough about your small business enough to give you some advice. When you promise to fix something...and you can't or don't want to...you probably should be honest. I had two cracks on my iPad screen, took it in to have it replaced when I went to pick it up they replaced it but it was only sealed to the back case on two sides - dirt and dust can now get inside. My iPad was in complete working order except for the two cracks when I took it in. It now has an unsealed case and screen, it has light getting under the screen, it shuts off on its own sometimes I have to shut it down too the Smart Cover should shut it down but when I'm streaming a video it still runs I hear audio with the cover closed. They told me that to fix it I would need a back case and told me it would be another 50.00 plus another 35.00 for labor. I now have to take it elsewhere to get it fixed I've already paid 100.00 for a screen and bad workmanship. If I had never taken it in it would still be working correctly and still would be sealed all be it with two small cracks but I would not have to put out more money to make it sound again. Wound up taking my iPad to another repair shop in Portland because the screen cracked again they said they had to scrap glue out of the housing and attach components on the inside. Also they fixed it with out a new back case and the screen was sealed completely so apparently Charisma doesn't know what they are doing read more

I took my iPhone 7 into get a new speaker my screen got cracked during the replacement do to it being previously glued the owner replaced my screen with a brand new one with no charge and gave me a discount on my speaker repair!! SUPER HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. Things happen and he made it right and because of that he will get my business and I will tell ppl about my good experience there!!!! read more

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR COMPUTERS/PHONES!!!! Just a friendly heads up! I just went into charisma productions, to rectify the fact that the worker put in outdated equipment (where I used to have an HDMI port, was replaced with a VGA...don't know what that is? I had to Google it myself. Also had to modify my laptop by cutting it to fit the piece in there) and when I walked in, he immediately told me that I have an attitude and to come back when I have a better one, which is ridiculous. My attitude is because you broke my laptop and didn't say anything then tried to give me an adapter...which surprise surprise, he didn't actually cut up my laptop enough to fit the adapter anyway. When he couldn't get the adapter in, threw cords at me and told me to leave or "he'll call the cops" . Haha so I go to leave and he says, "I still wanna rectify this" to which I replied "no you don't you are a liar" to witch his response was "ya know what fuck off".. So if you need something fixed or looked at, I would think more than twice about this place. He'll leave you high and dry while cussing you out! read more

I would NEVER recommend Charisma Productions in Kelso, Wa. I took in my husbands Apple Watch for a screen repair. The screen was cracked but still working and the watch was still useable. I was told by multiple places that it was replaceable. I went in to Charisma before Christmas to have it repaired. The owner Harley told me it would take about a week to fix, and that's he's done many screen repairs before. Now a that a month has gone by with no phone call, and no update, My husband went it and talked to him. He had not fixed the screen, instead blamed me for "telling him the wrong model." And that he could not repair it for the original quoted price. And that instead of $70 it would be $170,(which is what I paid originally for the watch). And to top it all off, he would not return the $60 deposit that I put down for repair. So not only am I out $35+, but now I have a watch that is completely unusable. I was given back the watch in worse condition than it was dropped off. read more

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!! Should have heeded others warnings!! I wish 0 stars was an option - or negative stars for that matter. We've now paid money for our iPad to be more broken than when we brought it in a MONTH AND A HALF ago! We brought in a broken iPad Mini screen to be replaced and they said it would be fixed in "a couple days" which ended up turning into 3 weeks. When we picked it up the auto wake function didn't work anymore. Brought it back, said he needed to order another screen that had the right parts?? (I'm guessing the magnets...) Then after 2 more weeks we got the iPad back and the screen itself wouldn't stay on - it kept lifting off all the way around the iPad. Took it back again, said they'd fix it. Took another week. This time the home button no longer worked - they added an on screen button though - because you know, that's totally the same thing. Not. Also, the home button is crooked, there's scratches on the underside of the screen (where the black part is around the home button), AND the screen it STILL lifting at the corners. The power button only sometimes works and now sticks. When we complained he told us that we were being "nit-picky" and that this was what we were getting and said he would refund us the cost of labor at $70 but not for the $70 for the replacement screen and LCD. I get that we did in fact walked away with a working screen but we also walked away with them damaging our iPad enough that it's made it unusable for us. Resulting in us just scrapping this whole thing and buying a new one all together. In the end we paid $70 to give them a fully functioning iPad that needed the screen replaced but ended up with an iPad with a working screen (that's damaged and coming off) and it's main buttons not working properly or at all. I hate giving even one star this business is so bad. They kept my gateway instead of fixing it, said it was not fixable, then gave me the hard drive from another computer, then sold an old computer to me saying it was new. I have been researching who to contact and found several agencies including the Washington State consumer Protection agency, Federal Trade Deception Act, Washington State District Attorney, and they can be sued in small claims court. Back in February I broke my iphone screen and was going to have to pay a $200 deductible. Harley had my phone back to me in 2 days and I am still using it with no issues. The price was reasonable and despite having other customers in the store he didn't rush me when I was asking questions about my laptop. A few weeks ago, I ended up taking in my daughters ipad for a screen and he fixed it for me the same day! I think these guys are great and I always tell people about them. Guess you win some and lose some according to these other reviews but see no need to go anywhere else. My kids are hard on their electronics and I have been to Charisma over the last year probably 10 times, never had an issue. read more

Very disgusted with this business. I wish that I would have read the other reviews prior to taking our phone in for repairs. We paid over $200 up front to get a cell phone with a cracked screen fixed. The estimated repair time was a week. It ended up taking almost a month to get our phone back. They kept making excuses for why it wasn't done. After approximately three weeks we were told they would reimburse us a portion of the bill due to the lengthy repair time. When they finally finished the job we were told that they couldn't give us any money back because we paid with a credit card! I do not appreciate being lied to. Avoid this business unless you can go without your cell phone for a month and can tolerate dishonesty. read more

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law took their flat screen TV here because there were lines across the top of the screen. They were told over the phone it could be a bulb and would run $150. Then when they brought it in he would take a look at it and get right back to them. They called to check in every few days to check in on how it was going. John (the owner) was rude every time and vague on any updates and said he would call them back at the end of the day. He never once called them. Then, a week and a half later he finally quoted at least $800.00 for the part... Not including labor... And it wasn't worth fixing, but said he would continue looking into it. He never called them back. 4 days later my sister-in-law called to tell them to put the TV back together so she could go get it and the assistant said it had been put back together for a few days. When she went to pick it up, I went with her. He was EXTREMELY rude, even saying, "this is why I hate customers like you, who keep calling to check on their fricking stuff." We said we wanted the TV and we're refusing to pay because she had called Samsung and was quoted $175 for the part that they needed (and could install themselves). The owner got even more angry and brought the TV out from the back and very roughly put it against the wall. He didn't offer to help carry it to the car and as we were exiting g the store noticed a very deep scratch in the screen. When we went back in and told him about it, he said we had done it and if we wanted to sue he had a "Two million dollar lawyer, so go ahead". We said we were going to write a review on Yelp and he threatened to sue us for slander and would be sending a "large bill for service to collections". Her and I both work in customer service and I personally have never seen/been treated to such horrible, almost scary service. I was literally shaking after we left. I have not personally used their services before, but I DEFINITELY will never now and would tell anyone to find somewhere else to go... Or better yet, have your 5 yr old work on your TV...
