The day of the appointment he was a few hours late showing up due to truck trouble, but he and a couple family guys showed and made short work of the tree, piling all the wood into his long trailer. Jeff was very safety conscious and no damage came from the tall limbs coming down. It was nice to see a fellow work carefully and not show off. The crew cleaned up everything, except for some saw dust. Jeff cut the trunk close to the ground, but was not able to cut it clear to the ground. He took a photo of the remaining part and sent my phone number to a fellow he knows that does stump grinding at a reasonable price. Over all, we are very pleased with the result.

Both my husband and I really felt that this was an honest and trustworthy person from the very first time we met him. Our instincts were right on!!! The job was done within two weeks. Cut down trees, limbs, leaves, and many trunks chipped into piles for us to use as well. We had some pretty big trees leaning in tricky angles. Jeff knew exactly how to set everything up to avoid hitting anything on our property. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. His family accompanies him: wife, brothers, kids. Jeff and his family worked hard and did an excellent job. There were NO issues at all. They ended up coming back a few weeks later because we decided to take down a couple more trees. After reaching out online they contacted me almost immediately, setting up an estimate within a day or two. I signed contracts a day after that. The owners, Johnathan and Sonia, are super-nice people. NV showed up exactly when they said they would and on time every single day. Stefany from the ofice staff is also incredibly pleasant and friendly. She answered all my questions and contacted me in advance before every visit, updating me and relaying requests from the crew each day during the job. They told me up front I could probably find a cheaper contractor, but not one that would do they job they did. They didn't disappoint, working 12-hour days until the job was finished --- including immaculate cleanup each evening. The preppers and painters were kind and extremely hard-working. The first day the crew showed up early and spent a full day doing prep work, including pressure-washing, bubble-scraping, replacement of some rotting wood and a vent, and a lot of sealing. They did a ton of calking on my siding and even re-calked all my windows. They spent the second day putting two coats of high-quality paint on the house, and the third day applying two coats of trim, including gutters and downspouts. I have expensive security cameras and they were super-careful working around the cameras and cables, covering them when needed. They spent part of a fourth day checking their work, doing touchup and cleaning up. Johnathan gave me a final tour before wrapping up the project. My house is 26 years old and now it looks brand new and pristine. As happy and amazed as I am with the work they completed, I think I'm equally as pleased to have found such a diligent and professional local contractor I can trust and count on. Also, do not hire these folks if you have pets, because they leave doors open without telling you and come and go unannounced. Contractor failed to flip the breaker to the water heater back on, never told us, so we didn't have hot water the next day. Contractor was also a no-show one day, after telling us he would be there. Went from a 2-3 day project to a 10-day project. Glad that we didn't start a new project with them before this one was finished.

Nice gutters, poor business integrity…read more Eric with Elite Renovators installed new gutters on our house in January 2018. Generally speaking, we were pleased with the workmanship and we were getting ready to write a glowing review. Then we found a couple of places where water was pouring/leaking where it shouldn't - in a heavy rain, there was a substantial stream of water running from one part of the roof onto another and then cascading onto the concrete below, bypassing the gutter system - so we contacted Eric about coming back and finishing the job. In addition to the water flow issue, we wanted to let him know that we found several handfuls of aluminum shards and mesh in our yard where the gutter had been trimmed during installation. Eric had young assistants who we suspected were less experienced and might need to be told not to just drop the clippings in the yard. The shards can't be picked up by a magnet and are sharp enough to cut your skin (serious mowing hazard in the spring!). Eric initially responded in February to explain some delay - out of town, truck trouble, or similar - but did not get back to us. We reached out to him again in March and he asked when he should come over, but when we proposed a time, we did not hear back. We left several more phone and email messages that were never returned. At the end of April, we wrote an email expressing our disappointment with his lack of responsiveness and letting him know that if we didn't hear from him in a week, we would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and HomeAdvisor.com to warn other customers about his business. He responded within a few days to say, "I will be out to look at the gutters as I've said. I have had my foot in a cast and not working or climbing ladders." We have not heard from him since and it is now July. At first, we didn't want to post a negative review if there was any chance that we'd get our gutters fixed. But at this point, we think it's more important for other customers to know that this contractor will NOT see a job through to the end. We will find another way to fix the gutters.
