Although the area he finished appeared satisfactory, one side of the house and half the driveway were left untouched and strewn with debris. Upon raising this issue, he argued about the scope and tried to upsell to complete the 4th side of the house and the other half of the driveway. I paid the full $250 bid and feel cheated. He requested a deposit and handed me a receipt. The day of the appointment he was a few hours late showing up due to truck trouble, but he and a couple family guys showed and made short work of the tree, piling all the wood into his long trailer. Jeff was very safety conscious and no damage came from the tall limbs coming down. It was nice to see a fellow work carefully and not show off. The crew cleaned up everything, except for some saw dust. Jeff cut the trunk close to the ground, but was not able to cut it clear to the ground. He took a photo of the remaining part and sent my phone number to a fellow he knows that does stump grinding at a reasonable price. Over all, we are very pleased with the result.

Cut down trees, limbs, leaves, and many trunks chipped into piles for us to use as well. We had some pretty big trees leaning in tricky angles. Jeff knew exactly how to set everything up to avoid hitting anything on our property. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. His family accompanies him: wife, brothers, kids. Once your logger truck got in the center lane, they continued to drive dangerously close to the other big rig and then pass them when they could all to just head back into the right lane to take the Kalama exit. Had they just stayed in the right lane without tailgating, (for the three miles this all took) they wouldn't have freaked out everyone on the road. I have pictures of the license plate and am happily calling this in. Nobody wants to die on the freeway due to this kind of thing.
